The license is misleading when cover art isn't free of copyright. It's very unlikely that this was uploaded by Demi Lovato or anybody from Island Records, contrary to what the "own work" claim suggests. Hi EugeneZelenko,
Thanks for your message. These are photos I've taken of colleagues at my place of work. Some had to be cropped or retouched because of background distractions (eg. shadows, marks on wall). Regarding the EXIF data, this contained personal information (eg. date, time and location photos were taken) and was intentionally deleted prior to uploading. All five of the photos are (I think) of higher resolution than images publicly accessible elsewhere. Permission was obtained to upload the photos from each subject. Wikimedia Commons can verify this by contacting each researcher. Their email addresses are available through the publicly accessible PubMed database.

Deleted: most, kept some. I was able to keep some where I could determine that they were in the public domain for some reason or old enough for PD-old-assumed. I also deleted some because I found that they were much too recent or that they had authors who were alive or died less than 70 years ago; I've noted both in the list above. I've deleted the rest because I was not given enough information about them to determine their copyright status. As for those claiming that any file showing some image older than 70 years and not naming an author are "anonymous": I don't accept that without seeing the works in their original context, both sides of postcards (plus some kind of legible date), etc. For these files, that was almost never the case, they are all very insufficiently described and categorized files, grabbed from various places on the web, almost never given a proper date (they usually had their 2021 or 2022 upload dates), no authors named etc. The onus to do all that lies with the uploader. I've corrected it for quite a number of files, but there's only so much I can do. If you want to request undeletion for any files, please go to COM:UNDEL with a good rationale and some evidence WHY the file should be in the public domain. --Rosenzweig τ 23:56, 6 November 2022 (UTC)

The nominated images show graffiti authored by Germain Prevost (a.k.a. Ipin). According to this site (translated by Google Translate): "The graffiti by Ipin, an artist born in Reims in 1981, plays on contrasts and volumes. These works can be discovered on the electrical transformer on rue Paul Marchandeau, at the corner of rue Courlancy, and on the Courlancy electrical transformer (next to the clinic)."

- I beg to differ, respectfully! To establish copyvio on the said image, we should be able to find an exact copy of the said image being used on any part of the web or the internet and even outside the internet, if possible. We are comparing like items and both the video you cited and the image under scrutiny are not the same. An image portrays a static object(s) whilst a video portrays object(s) in motion. In the video cited, I see text (captions), the subject talking and making gestures or movement. Do I see the same in the image? Certainly not! - That is not an odd definition of the difference between images and videos, respectfully. The fact is, an image and a video are not the same! It is a very simple point which can't be contested. And to give another reason why they are not the same; you cannot produce or make a video (the recording, reproducing, or broadcasting of moving visual objects or subject.) in .jpg or .png format(s) neither can you produce or make an image(visual representation in a photograph or picture) in mp3, mp4 or mkv formats. It is not possible! which should tell you they are not the same. And I am not talking about putting series of images together to make a slideshow video. I mean stand alone images can't be made or produced in .mp4, .mp3 or .mkv formats and vice versa. You cannot classify the images as a copyvio because you have seen a video resemblance of those images elsewhere, on the assumption they were taken from there. How do you substantiate that? And I will unequivocally, reteirate that, we are comparing like items not like items with unlike items: Images with Images, Videos with Videos not Images with Videos on the assumption that they look alike or a quick desire to find something, that is not there. Find the exact copies of the images elsewhere on the web or outside if possible, then we know we are making headway. - Screenshots taken of videos (= images) are a type of derivative work. If the underlying work is protected by copyright, then so is the derivative work. Copyright is not lifted just because of some alterations.

It is just to highlight the point that, the videos are not a representation of those images neither are they an exact copy of the images, as far as citing for copyright violations are concerned. More so, your viewpoint of the images being a screenshot of the cited videos, hasn't been substantiated or proved. It is based on assumptions! We need to establish that, the images were indeed screenshot from the videos; until then, discussions on Commons:Derivative works and Commons:Screenshots, can't apply. - I am also equally tired of going round with this whole thing.I am not talking about showing me video links of where you think this was gotten from. My question is how do you prove that a person indeed screenshot the images from the said videos? Where you there? Do you have any video footage that implicates anyone of having taken the images from there? Let us be fair here; these are what i am asking for not assumptions. Clearly, you see that you struggle to locate anything on File: Kwesi Pratt Jnr.png, which was produced and uploaded with the rest, therefore how then do you lump the others together and say they are a copyvio based on some claimed video links without proving that the images were indeed from there? What i am simply saying is that, the images were not taken from the videos, that's all! Let's not try to find a violation at all cost, when there is none to show. - I beg to differ, respectfully! To establish copyvio on the said image, we should be able to find an exact copy of the said image being used on any part of the web or the internet and even outside the internet, if possible. We are comparing like items and both the video you cited and the image under scrutiny are not the same. An image portrays a static object(s) whilst a video portrays object(s) in motion. In the video cited, I see text (captions), the subject talking and making gestures or movement. Do I see the same in the image? Certainly not! Deleted: Per nomination and remarks. COM:TOO Albania does not specify a level of originality. To determine whether a design is below TOO is always a bit subjective.
