If this person is notable then I would vote Keep. Stupid sock nominations..
Uploader claims own work, but also uploaded a photo from 1850 claiming own work so we can't take that for granted.
A bot informed this user on enwiki of license or source issues on 26 October 2007. This image was uploaded 5 November 2007. Possibly this is a reupload?
I'm not sure what those white blobs in the goal are. Maybe nothing. Anyone?
I also wonder why a photographer who is capable of getting this kind of shot would quit after taking/uploading three photos. It doesn't make sense. They must have some impressive zoom lens and used a tripod or something. That, or they took a photo of a magazine or something.
The user probably does (or did) own a Nikon D80 because they also uploaded w:File:Santa Maria del Mar Barcelona.JPG. That photo is rather poor compared to this one.
Is there any way to see the upload history for this file from enwiki? Even without that, I'm leaning towards COM:PRP because of all the strange circumstances. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 22:50, 25 June 2018 (UTC)

Comment This is a public domain photo. The Hillsborough County Sheriff Office watermark on the original is still plainly visible, denoting that it's an official booking photo. An after-the-fact watermark added by a 3rd party aggregator website is an irrelevant artifact and a derivative: removing same is allowable. The same mugshot is also available here, for example.Its 1,270 × 1,312 pixels resolution does not justify deletion, unless a higher resolution version can be found to replace it.JGHowes talk 15:21, 25 June 2018 (UTC)

- FWIW, this file could almost certainly be uploaded locally to English Wikipedia as non-free content. The source website hasn't been online since 2009, but at the time this photo was uploaded, it had the following statement [2]:

- See Template:Flickr-public domain mark. This is a very common misconception. The Flickr public domain mark is not the same as releasing something into the public domain. It is for marking other images that are already in the public domain if you choose to upload them to Flickr. It has no legal basis. At all. It is not the same as CC0 and means pretty much nothing. - It obviously isn't common sense since quite a few people mistake the PDM for an actual copyright license. It is so common that we have to have a template that explains everything in detail. This isn't about what you perceive to be common sense. This is about enforcing long standing Commons procedures. The creators of the PDM, Creative Commons, validate my concern here. We have to go by what they say, not what we want, and they say the PDM means nothing and has no legal basis at all. Again, this is long standing Commons practice. I'm not singling out these images. - Keep I know the concept of precautionary principle very well; I proposed the deletion of many files because there were doubts in licensing. But this case, sorry, is a formal parody. There are no doubts that the uploader in flickr isn't the copyright holder. The uploader released the photos into public domain. While there are some advantages using Public domain equivalent license [3] you aren't forced to do that. The advantage is for example that not all jurisdictions have a public domain. You can also actively give it into public domain by a waiver statement/anti-copyright can call notice [4]. This picture purports to have been copied from Geograph Britain and Ireland and originally taken by Ben Brooksbank. It is indeed on Geograph (here), but it wasn't uploaded by Ben Brooksbank, not least because he died in February. Instead it was uploaded by Steven Benemet, who is presumably our User:StevenBenemet. That user has no other contributions to Geograph and all their contributions here relate to Ardingly College. Other Geograph contributors have concluded that the location ascribed to the picture is wrong (it's actually Bournemouth), as is the date. This looks increasingly like licence laundering to me.

- That's true only if the uploader on Geograph had the right to license the photo. Normally, the Geograph moderators are in a better position to determine that then we are, but this case is a bit unusual. User:StevenBenemet is much more active here than on Geograph, his only contribution there being this single photograph, apparently uploaded to illustrate en:Ardingly College. Given that, I hope we might do better getting an explanation here than Geograph's moderators have yet managed.

I'm confident that they were his to donate.That said, accepting that he died in February and the image was not uploaded to Geograph until April, I have a strong suspicion that it has been taken from one of his books and thus not correctly licenced. Image whose copyright status is impossible to properly verify. It's claimed as CC/own work, but it's actually the exact same campaign headshot that was already on the subject's own website and Twitter for months before he won election earlier this month -- so absent a proper OTRS confirmation it's impossible to verify whether the uploader is the rightful copyright holder, or just grabbed it from a Google Image search in violation of copyright rules. No source, authorship or publication details to confirm the subject and the PD rationale. The supposed source, Popflock, is a Wikipedia mirror hosting a copy of en:Olimpio Otero Vergés. This image is listed as being in the public domain on the Black Past website, however this website lists the author as Neal Boenzi/The New York Times (as opposed to Tabitha Wang) and shows that it was licensed through Redux Pictures, an independent commercial and editorial photo agency. Here is where it's listed on the NYT with the author attribution.

This still is from the 1932 movie Shopworn. The current copyright tag claims that copyright was not renewed and therefore the film is in the public domain, but a search of US copyright records reveals that it was, in fact, renewed in 1959 ([5], second column, fifth entry down). According to the Hirtle Chart, the film won't be public domain until 95 years after publication, which is 2027. clpo13(talk) 19:55, 25 June 2018 (UTC)

[edit]All different exif data. I suspect copyvio as Kalarippayattu.jpg is very high quality and edited with photoshop. Tineye first found the image in Feb 06, 2014. It's also the same file as the one found at [6] [7]. All other files suspicious. Mandal patti coorg dist03.jpg exif data shows it took 4 years to upload, Mandal_patti_coorg_dist02.jpg 10 months, Mandal patti coorg dist01.jpg over 5 years. Mandal patti coorg dist03.jpg is taken with 10 mega pixel camera, yet it has 2 megapixel resolution.

There's not enough source information to determine when and where this photo was first published. The source site only connects it with The Patty Duke Show, which ran from 1963 to 1966, so only the episodes in 1963 would be eligible for {{PD-US-not renewed}} if the show's copyright wasn't renewed (though it certainly looks like it was 1990, if not earlier [8]).
However, this doesn't appear to be a still from the show and is claimed to be a publicity photo. It may be okay with {{PD-US-no notice}} but only if it can be shown that the photo was published without a copyright notice.
