File:Haddock at the Ashvale.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

- Comment: I uploaded a replacement image from 2013 here and was surprised it was not yet on Commons: File:Haddock & chips dish in London.jpg
- However it has not been reviewed since the flickr review bot has malfunctioned ...as I reported over here I assume the malfunction will be fixed eventually. The flickr account owner licenses his images freely as cc by sa 2.0 such as these images Best, --Leoboudv (talk) 03:26, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Leoboudv Thank you for following up and uploading a replacement. I'm not too stressed since there's a decent amount of haddock/fish and chips photos available. Adeletron 3030 (talk) 20:43, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Adeletron 3030. Personally I was shocked that File:Haddock & chips dish in London.jpg had not been uploaded to Wikimedia Commons since it was a 2013 image which was licensed freely. I was certain when I hit the image upload button the image would show that it was uploaded...but it was not. As an aside, the Flickrbot Malfunction was fixed...I assume by user Stemoc but I don't know. Zhuyifei199 who operated the current flickrbot is not active on Commons much anymore as this shows. "botgalleries" question
[edit]Could you please provide a link to this bot's User:Adeletron 3030/botgalleries/Sports page? Thank you, -- Ooligan (talk) 19:59, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Ooligan Are you asking how to set it up? I don't remember the exact steps but it's through User:OgreBot/gallery. Adeletron 3030 (talk) 20:41, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
Daily gallery updater has failed on User:Adeletron 3030/botgalleries/Sports
[edit]Hello. This message is to inform you that a daily gallery in your userspace, User:Adeletron 3030/botgalleries/Sports, has failed. Your gallery has a hard upper-limit of about 8000 files per day, while your gallery would have had 30582 files (including files already on the page).
This usually happens because a gallery is too broad, encompassing too many subcategories. Please review the logs here and request that a subcategory be excluded, or narrow your category choice(s).
Please make your request for removal at User talk:OgreBot/gallery within 4 days, or your gallery will be subject to removal.
Thank you. Magog the Ogre (via OgreBot (talk) 11:53, 5 December 2024 (UTC))

Hello Adeletron 3030. I have obtained more details about the file File:PedrinhoPresidenteVasco.jpg, and permission from its author. I would like to know how to reverse its deletion. Ryan Domingos (talk) 01:04, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Ryan Domingos You can follow the steps described at COM:UNDEL. It’ll also be a good idea to document the permission by following the process described at COM:VRT. Adeletron 3030 (talk) 03:00, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- I contacted permissions-pt@wikimedia.org via email, and sent the messages and permission given by the author. Ryan Domingos (talk) 13:20, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
