I fail to see any reasonable educational value for any of these photos. Additionally, it seems highly problematic to allow people to post photos that appear to have been taken without the subjects knowledge or where the buttocks of the person photographed covers nearly 50% of the image. - Hello there,
- Upon creating the Weiland Wikipedia page I noticed that there was no free of use image available of him that I could use in his article. I took to Discord to ask fans if they had a picture of him that they would be willing to release on the commons terms. One fan indicated that he went to his show back in 2017 and had taken a picture. I told him to create an account and upload it to Flickr under the appropriate terms in order to make the whole copyright process a lot easier. - @Ikan Kekek: COM:PALESTINE itself is unsure on what copyright laws apply to the State of Palestine, but contains a citation to Copyright, Property and the Social Contract: The Reconceptualisation of Copyright, by Rawan al-Tamimi and dated 2018. Accordingly, the Copyright Ordinance 1924 which applied the 1911 Copyright Act of the British Empire is still the prevailing law of the land. There have been no news of the law being replaced with a more modern law, notwithstanding the changes in the international copyright treaties.

There is no freedom of panorama in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and this commercially-licensed photo of a building inaugurated in 2019 violates building architects' copyright. - This is a photo taken at a live performance, many years ago. (more than 30 years ago).
- Unfortunately the real photo and negative got lost (can happen after 30 years), but was used on the back of a vinyl cover.
- From that back of the cover a scan was taken, but it do is own work and not a scan from a newspaper.
