I was able to delete it from Unsplash, even though it's licensed under the same license. I can't prevent people to use it (the ones that already downloaded it) and I have no problem with people using it. Ok, I honestly don't understand why are you so defensive about this image? I see that you are the one that uploaded it. It's a good school for me for sure, to never ever share anything for free. I even tried to upload a similar image, but got refused also. Bad practice here on Wiki for sure. - Sorry, Dreamypixel, I appreciate your work, but as my colleague Sporti said, CC licenses are irrevocable and you are not identifiable on this picture, so I see no valid, objective reason for deletion. I did not know that I have no rights anymore in CC as that was not the case on Unsplash where the image was originally uploaded. I could easily delete it there. [edit]These images show a building in France (w:CMA CGM Tower) from 2011. The architect, w:Zaha Hadid, is still alive. In most countries, all paintings, sculpture, architecture, text, and other creative works have copyrights which last for 70 years after the death of the creator. An image of a work that is still under copyright is a derivative work, and infringes on the copyright so that we cannot usually keep the image on Commons. In some countries, there is a special exception to the copyright law which allows such images under certain circumstances. We call that exception freedom of panorama (FOP). Unfortunately there is no applicable FOP exception in this case.

- Slowking4, the IP simply removed information for no obvious reason without explaining why, that's either a test edit or vandalism as far as I'm concerned.
- @Abzeronow: the photo is now (once again) COM:INUSE on Wikidata, so "out of scope" deletion is no valid option here. Also, she may not be notable enough for Wikipdia today, but it's not unthinkable she'll write a bestseller in the future. If that happened, would we undelete the photo? That would be strange. There have been some cases before of people who were likely not even notable enough for Wikidata with their photos taken inside a pub. I can understand deletion requests for such cases. But if you are a moderator (not just a visitor) at a book festival, you shouldn't be surprised if someone takes a picture. Davey, You are asking me to prov a negative [4] which is almost impossible. The only thing I could suggest is a Google reverse image search which will show you where that image exists or existed elsewhere on the internet. I do many demo animations that never get used commercially and occasionally I throw them up on Wikipedia of they are of good quality and they help the community. This work of art is copyrighted and, as there is no Freedom of panorama in France, it won't be freely shared before 1st January 2087. Totally agree with you, it's still an error on my part. While importing from Flickr, I saw the category and placed the photographs. Thank you for your vigilance. I keep the lesson to make more attention to the future. I put the template NoUploads in the Category:Pierres vives and I realized an image with the masking of the building (File:Pierres vives Montpellier 03B.jpg) to replace the one in the infobox (File:Pierres vives Montpellier 03.jpg).

But, I do not know whether to apply the freedom of panorama rule only for this building or all the achievements that have been made in France (Category:Buildings by Zaha Hadid). Its website does not mention any copyright (zaha-hadid.com), the French article mentions the achievements made in France and Commons has not applied restrictions to date. Should this building be the exception? Should we remove all of his achievements in France? or use only the template NoFoP-France?

Erroneous identification: this portrait is NOT Turinetti, marquis de Prié. It is the portrait of George Villiers, 2nd Duke of Buckingham, painted by Peter Lely. If the painter gives permissions for «the paintings in the form as they are depicted on the photo», that means that everyone can use my photo or any part of it (including a painting) and use it freely. As for me, the following permission formulation is acceptable:

Comment The artwork are minimal and contextual, and if the artist agrees via OTRS for the production of the photograph containing her works, I believe that is a suitable addition to PD. @Perohanych: Do note that such a release under CC-by-4.0 does allow other users to make derivative works, focusing solely on the artwork, and excluding the person from their DW. — billinghurst sDrewth 23:29, 22 December 2018 (UTC)
