Deleted: per nomination. The two photos of signs are clear derivative works, and unless you hold the copyright to the signs as well, you cannot relicense your photos of them. Regarding the photo of yourself, the copyright holder of a photograph (that isn't otherwise encumbered, unlike the ones just mentioned) belongs to the photographer, not the subject of a photo. It may even have been extracted from this one (with perspective correction) and at any rate its resolution is not obviously higher. Note that the subject’s left hand is visible in this image, not cut off at the wrist. - Comment: These are temporary images (taken with a mobile phone probably) put up by the museum as placeholders (this one bef. 2012) before they get around to putting up a better mounted and more carefully taken high res picture. It was used to make the later image, cropped and manipulated in Photoshop by our Jan Arkesteijn. We are never going to use the original for any purpose, if we have better; in time a fuller image will appear (when the museum gets round to it, and we will replace it.Broichmore (talk) 20:14, 26 June 2018 (UTC)

I added {{Attribution-Eurostat}} based on this request. However, it seems that when the author of that blogpost writes "figures reported by Eurostat", he means the raw data as available from the fats_g1a_08 table and not the graphical representation of that data. Looks to me like the makers of the blog downloaded the data and made a quick excel graph themselves, which would make them the copyright owners of the derivative work. - Thanks El Grafo, I'm pretty sure this is a Eurostat graphic and not a graphic created by the blog. I know Eurostat's publications and the format is theirs (blue bars, title format etc.). I am also familiar with the blog in question, and he rarely produces graphics (he has done the odd excel table), as he prefers to leverage established content. I would like to use it as I don't have the source data to reproduce the graphic, however, I don't want to use this if the image is unstable and could be deleted in the future. thanks. - Comment The images belong to the Supreme Federal Court (Supremo Tribunal Federal) of Brazil. They are all institutional files displayed on the website of the court, as stated by the disputed authorization, granting its use by media vehicles for any purpose, being required only that the source and authorship is given. According to Brazilian Law (Federal Statute 9.610/1998, article 8, IV), any official enactment by Brazilian Government (which includes the content of official websites produced by the Government) is automatically in the public domain. - Comment Ah yes, the situation of works published prior to 1983 is a rule specifying that these are in the public domain because the previous Civil Code, article 662, stated that works published by a Brazilian government would enter the public domain 15 years after the publication. This article was struck down in 1998 by the aforementioned Statute 9.610, article 115. According to 9.610, 8, IV, official enactments by the government enter the public domain immediately. But governmental works prior to 1998, under the previous law, would only enter after 15 years, hence the rule expliciting the situation of such works prior to 1983, needless nowadays, since all works between 1983-1998 have already made 15 years since publication and are all in the public domain. - Comment The caput of article 8 reads: "These are not subject to copyright protection as referred to in this Law", and IV of this article enlists, among others, regulations, judicial decisions "or other official enactment". The only rule conferring copyright protection to some works (even in this case excluding official acts) published by federal, state or municipal government was 662 of the Civil Code (the 15 years term rule), which has been revoked by article 115 of 9.610/1998. So, no work produced by a body of government as an official enactment is copyrighted in the current legislation. This is what the template refers to, putting that a governmental work is in the public domain for one of the two reasons: either it was published under the previous legislation and passed the 15-year term (Civil Code - 3071/1916, art. 662; 5988/1973, art. 46), or it was published under the current legislation that does not confer copyright protection to official acts (9610/1998, art. 8, IV), in which institutional press media is included. Theoretically this legal forecast would suffice for any use of those images, but even if not, if one understands for any reason that specifically those works do not fall under 9.610, art. 8, it is complemented by the general authorization on the website of the Court permitting all images in the section Image Bank ("Banco de Imagens") to be downloaded and reproduced without reservations about its use, demanding only the proper credits. This has been briefly discussed here, at that time they were seeking a specific permission for the pictures of the Banco de Imagens section, which I eventually found and started using in my uploads. Maybe it's the case of discussing the validity of Template:STFBr again, since basically all pages about the STF and its judges with image files would be affected. - After 1983 we simply do not know, by jurisprudence we probably have same scenario for works after 1983, but nothing clear by the law. No one answered about it, as far as I know.
- But, he also used Agência Brasil license, this ones, unfortunately (as Brazil is backing to XVI century), changed its license, not being free any more, as previous discussed. So this ones should be deleted by now.
- The problem is simple, Brazil is not a copyright freak as USA, so the law is a mirror of that, we do not have the copyright culture, so we face a lot of grey area. It is symptomatic that the Page of the Superior Court of Justice does not have a line describing license and usability terms, and does not give even the moral rights to the photographer, as predicted by the law.
- Me as Brazilian see the solution in a very different way as most of the community that is USA and EU centred, I know that will be a long long road to find the answer, as previously mentioned, they do not care about copyright, being a Brazilian my mind goes to "if they don't care, why should we" being here for so long, your solution will be delete until this be solved. Knowing the scenario, this will be permanently delete.
- I don't want to take this road, I'm too old and too tired. In the past Brazilian Wikimedia Movement volunteers did a remarkable work to open up archive of government photos, and than the government changed, not changing the party, but all changed. Living in a country that this kind thing is possible, for me it's not worth the effort.
- As not worth the effort making this importation manually... guarantee that is free, and let a bot do the work. Even if they say that is free, not giving the authors name is a copyright infringement here, CC0 in Brazil is not possible. Guarantee.

- @Rodrigo.Argenton: Actually the page of the STF does require to give the photographers' names - which is, like I said, the only requirement for the reproduction, even if commercial, of the STF images. It is stated in the permission: "(...) Toda e qualquer imagem reproduzida deve conter os créditos dos profissionais que a produziram.") As for the current law, in spite of being laconic on the subject, it's clear in saying that official publications are not subject to protection. While it's indisputable that decisions of the court (for example) are copyright-free because the law sufficiently specifyes it, the institutional content of the website does fall in a grey area, resting in the general exemption of "other official acts", one can argue if it fits in this concept or not. In my view it does, since all images are produced during the sessions of the court, destined to the social media of the public office, by agents hired for this specific job and whose moral rights are sheltered. In the website, the credits for the images have this format: "Photographer's name / SCO (Secretary of Communication) / STF", which explicits the official origin and destination of the photographs. - Comment the only possible issue I see is the Milis Linux logo. The background is a default Ubuntu background, and they are all licensed CC-by-sa-3.0. - So you will delete every pictures of people living in the 19th century under the pretexte you don't know the author (which is the case in most of it)? And since Paul Hallez is born in 1846 it is almost impossible to have a picture of him in his 30 (so taken around 1880) which doesn't respect PD-old. - Estimating someones age is always difficult, even if the person is alive and right in front of you. I remember my grandfather being estimated 55 while he was around 85. The only way to make a reliable estimation from such a picture is if you would have reference material. E.g. if you would have a picture of this person from around 1900 with a bald head, you would know that this picture would be from earlier. - "will never bother anyone" is a non-accepted argument here. If we don't know who the author was and the work is probably less than 120 years old, we consider that there are good chances that the author was still alive in 1948, so that PD-old cannot be applied. Jcb (talk) 21:05, 23 June 2018 (UTC)
- So you will delete every pictures of people living in the 19th century under the pretexte you don't know the author (which is the case in most of it)? And since Paul Hallez is born in 1846 it is almost impossible to have a picture of him in his 30 (so taken around 1880) which doesn't respect PD-old.
