I'd like to fix the dimensions of the central panel of File:Flag of Haiti.svg. While the flag doesn't seem to have the central panel's dimensions defined in law, the chosen dimensions of the current image are vastly different to those used for any official flags I've seen. Would like to amend the central panel to match that shown on the Haitian Embassy's official page here: https://www.haiti.org/flag-and-coat-of-arms/ Also apply a slight fix to remove the white bar that appears to have snuck in at the bottom of the green Theadept (talk) 22:07, 15 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In the 4th (or so) page it is written: "Verko sen aŭtorrajtoj" and that in Esperanto means "Work without copyright" in other words, in the public domain. It is also written just before that, that the work is for dissemination and not for gain and for that aim the max press price should be 4 dollars (but there is not a minimum price).

I can understand why an editor would choose to encamp Wyoming in the same category as other states who ratified the amendment as part of the main phase during the campaign; no other state had done so for a century by that point, and it was only a few years away from the sudden explosion of ratification, so the chronological proximity fits more appropriately. But that does not automatically mean that it's more appropriately categorised with the chronologically closer than the chronologically further. By the time Wyoming ratified it, the amendment was still in the middle of being dormant as it had been for years and years and years, creating a distinct period from becoming dormant until renewed interest. And while Wyoming was indeed chronologically (much much) closer to renewed interest than the most recent ratification up to that point, we still had to wait a few years more from that for the amendment to be undormanted by the campaign. In other words, we were still in the same wayside period we were in when Ohio ratified it, not quite yet the main phase. Furthermore, Wyoming did so for more similar reasons to Ohio than subsequent states (protest votes rather than campaign lobbying.) I hope that makes my point that Wyoming is more appropriately periodised with Ohio, or at least a different colour altogether if it's too chronologically removed for everyone else's tastes, rather than the main phase states, as chronological proximity on its own is not enough. I tried to overwrite the image myself with this installment, only to find out that only autopatrol users are allowed to do that now.
