  • The quality of all these pictures is quite bad, unfortunately. I like the water here, this space-exploration building, and the pastel colors -- Basile Morin (talk) 02:21, 25 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • +1 for the pastel colors. I also like the very urban perspective. --Martin Falbisoner (talk) 11:24, 25 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • I would term "pastel colours" as being light and colourful. This is mostly shades of grey, with very ordinary water, and from this angle/light, the curve of the building doesn't actually have any shades -- it is very flat matt. If you are concentrating on the technical quality of the other pictures, then you are missing the point, which is about light and composition and angle of view. Yes this space-exploration building is unusual, but we have 100+ photos of it and taking a picture with a DSLR is not how one makes an FP. There are far more interesting pictures, with better light and better view, of this building on Commons. QI is for DSLR-technical-quality photos that lack the other aspects. This is really very much a QI. FP should show that the photographer knows how to take a great photo and has had or made a great opportunity to capture an image with wow. Technical quality is just a baseline, say thanks to the Canon engineers, and lets consider wow. Compared to the category on Commons, I see no wow. -- Colin (talk) 08:49, 26 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Support At 100% it looks a little over-sharpened, but at 30MP that's no concern. Composition is fine and fairly standard for food photography, with the brown-grey background helping highlight the colourful food. I think there's a few other photos in this person's upload log that look FP worthy. -- Colin (talk) 16:47, 24 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose I have no problems with the composition—the colors are nice and earthy, the burlap nicely emphasizes the rustic quality that it seems the photographer wanted. But, per Peulle, I have problems with processing. The wood planks in the background should at least look like wood; I like the rest of the photo well enough that I would have given them a pass on slight unsharpness. However, this wood looks like it's disintegrating into pixels, like something that cannot be explained by a photographer's choice to focus on his subject. Daniel Case (talk) 22:42, 24 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose Nice but oversharpened. --Basotxerri (talk) 16:11, 25 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Peulle, Daniel, Basotxerri, I am wondering why you think the oversharpening is an issue in a 30MP photo. Sure, it's a flaw and we could suggest it be processed differently. But I can only see it at 100% at which point this image is 170cm tall, which is 5x the height of my 27" monitor and would break through the ceiling in my study. Is it fair to judge such a huge image from a 30cm distance? It could be printed at 300dpi at A2 poster size, a resolution so fine that pixel-level "flaws" are invisible. Compare downsized a bit to 7MP and I don't see any issue, and that downsize is still well well above our minimum threshold and a level where many people would support if nominated as an "uploaded from Flickr" candidate. The wood does look like wood, unless I'm looking at them with the equivalent of an electronic magnifying glass. We neither need or even want the wood to be in focus, as it should not be getting our attention, which is on the colourful food. So why are we concerned with oversharpened wood, which isn't even the subject? I wonder if we have got so in the habit of looking for flaws, and flaws we think could be fixed like noise, CA, sharping, and assuming that means those flows should and must be fixed, and then we mistake "I'd have processed this differently" from, "This image has important flaws that prevent it being used". Picking on pixel flaws is an easy game that doesn't even require any artistic or photographic appreciation or ability.
This particular composition might not be everyone's taste, but I look at the photographer's upload log and see many images that would easily illustrate a quality cook book (as I think this would with no problem at all). They are all a bit oversharpened, hence my concern that we could miss out on several FP food photos if we keep being only concerned about the pixels. We have very little pro-quality food photography on Commons, and here's a new photographer with pro-level photos and they get pixel peeped to death by people who've never shot any food photography at that level. It would be nice to have one of these "Wiki loves ___" competitions generate some new regulars at FP, but currently I can't see any reason why a pro photographer would bother joining us. -- Colin (talk) 10:27, 26 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Comment I have no problem with the food. I do have a problem with the wood looking like a pointilist painting, like it isn't even wood. Sure it's not the subject, but in a 40MB image like this with a rather short DoF you expect it to look like wood, even unsharp wood. Daniel Case (talk) 04:27, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Daniel, if it looks like a "pointilist painting" to you, then you are looking at it far far too closely. I am really really struggling to not see perfectly ordinary wood. All you are noticing are pixel-level over-sharpening artefacts. If printed at A4 size for a glossy magazine, there would be 574 pixels per inch, which is double the 200-300 ppi needed for high quality colour printing. So the issue you think stops this being featured would vanish below physical printing limits. A 30MP image far exceeds the resolution needed for most purposes. Most food photos don't even fill A4, but are smaller to leave room for recipes. Why are you punishing the uploader for not downsizing to 6MP, which I know you'd support without question? The only reason you can see these artefacts is because your browser lets you magnify the image to 100ppi. If I took a 3x magnifying glass to a magazine, I'd see the dots too. -- Colin (talk) 08:47, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Frankly, if the image was going to turn out like this at its current resolution, it should have been downsized (but, it is true, we strongly encourage uploading at the highest resolution available, for reasons none of us argue with, so maybe this is on us). And perhaps the sharpening could have been applied just to the food if that was desired? It could have been cropped out, but I kind of like the pseudo-vignetting the corners create. •  Oppose i am afraid Colin is perfectly right about lights: result is again something like a drawing more than a picture. In this case i dont agree even on the composition you chose: while i agree shwoing the wall on the left (i sometimes use walls to frame a picture and give the sense on "where" a building is) i must say that "Le Quai" sign is terribly disturbing: it occupies a strategic spot in the whole composition, in the top left quadrant, exactly where our eyes will fix their attention when looking at one photograph and on the diagonal of the photo. That specific part of the picture should be used to place something extremely interesting in the composition: some main subject or something which is considered as "important" in the message a photographer wants to give those who are looking at the picture. The diagonal line of any composition like this is extremely important and should be watched carefully. I also have some doubts about the format you chose (too much square), probably due to some cropping you did. My suggestion is: never crop a picture to make it better than it looks; choose the compositoin while shooting and if it doesnt satisfy you, then move around the subject and find the perfect point of view. A photographer shouldnt crop pictures in landscapes photos, the photographer should compose while shooting the perfect picture. IMo, of course Paolobon140 (talk) 13:28, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Please read Wikipedia:Assume good faith, Wikipedia:No personal attacks I do not think im creating a bad atmosphere, I only try to explain my thoughts with the poor English I can handle. And I comment on pictures, not on peple. If you dont like to read my few comments you still can avoid to read them. Of course im not following rules always, rules are made to be broken when can be broken; I usually talk about generic rules which are considered rules in photography and being this a photographic forum I am perfectly on-topic. You have found one of my pics made to be displayed in an Italian WP article about a chinese city panorama and that picture works fine for that use. But, as you have noticed, I did not propose that pic to be a Featured picture. What is not clear to you?Paolobon140 (talk) 15:05, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • By thw way: i spend time to adduce arguments to my comments and i spend energies in trying to write in the poor English i know; I always write long comments trying to analyze what i see, when I oppose a pic and also when i support a photo. I am always constructive: i find what i see as flaws and give an explanation and even a possible solution; when i see something i appreciate i explain what and why i appreaciate. Do you do the same? Others do not; plus, when somoene opposes my very few pics i never argue and just read their comments unless they ask explanations for some choice i took in my pics. I always try not to be "abrasive" and, as you seem to be a very smart and clever person, im sure you will put some effort in understanding that im trying my best in English and im also sure you will be able to pick the good parts of my thoughts. Use Wikipedia:Common sense.Paolobon140 (talk) 15:28, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
While I agree the aspect ratio of this image isn't ideal, I don't think that "don't crop" advice follows from that. There's really nothing special about 3:2 ratio, being a legacy from a 100-year-old decision by Leica. There's a reason why TV is 16:9 and movies usually much wider. Anyone doing commercial work will have their images cropped to suit the publication. While some photographic greats claim to never crop or dislike their work being cropped, it doesn't particularly matter if one frames perfectly at the time or later. What's more important is people consider how framing and aspect ratio affects their work. Gone are the days when you composed in a little viewfinder and couldn't see the results till the chemist gave you 24 6"x4" prints two weeks later. Advice that worked in the days of film isn't great today. The problem with stating rules, is that you'll only find that a week later you want to suggest a picture would be improved by a little crop. All sorts of famous photographers have their quirky rules and advice. "F8 and be there"; "The decisive moment"; "If your photographs aren't good enough, you're not close enough"; "If you want to be a better photographer, stand in front of more interesting stuff". These famous dictums might apply to some photography and not others. Some advice is simply outdated. Paolobon140, I suggest you be a bit less dogmatic about "rules". -- Colin (talk) 15:31, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You should correct them and bring them to their vertical nature. Second matter: the low third should contain something, a secondary subject, an object, asomething: look at the central part of the lowe third; it looks empty and meaningless, while a human eye is always looking at one picture from the center down to the bottom and then up to the top. •  Support As usual: sharpness cannot be considered the only benchmark for a photograph. There are horrible photos with a great sharpness and wonderful pictures which are not sharp. I find this a very elegant portrait, well composed, with a very interesting subject who is showing a traditional figure of (for me) a distant world, and i appreciate it. It is a good documentaristic portrait, colourful and interesting to see in all its details. Maybe a bit dull in light (i like shades a lot). I love the composition: the 2 dooors create an interesing background, being a perfect frame to the subject. It is a well organised composition, divided in 3 identical vertical parts (the 2 doors at the sides and the black space in the middle, where the subject is perfectly silhouetted. The dress finishes where it should finish, at the very low part of the composition. The model himself looks handsome and with a sweet smile. Thank you for this picture, I will see if i can upload it into some italian WP page.Paolobon140 (talk) 16:50, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Support Agree with Paolobon140. Image is not downsized and no need for pixel level sharpness at 22MP. Possible cause is 1/40s, which is relying on lens IS and the subject being still. Best to take several shots, so perhaps one will be sharp. Overall the image is lovely and colourful. -- Colin (talk) 21:48, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
In these cases a tripod is needed. If there is no tripod, the photographer can lean on someone to use as a human tripod. With a 50 mm you can easily shoot at 1/20 sec if you use a human tripod. I do not use stabilized lenses and i want to remind everyone that to take a firm picture we need at least a time which is the reverse of the lens lenghth: 1/50 sec for a 50 mm; 1/100 for a 100 mm lens: 1/35 sec for a 35 mm lens. It is easy to remember and useful to remind if a human tripod is available:-)Paolobon140 (talk) 22:01, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • According to the EXIF the lens used has IS (though might have been turned off) and the camera is a crop sensor, so the effective 35mm focal length is 110mm. If you haven't got IS (I have it built into my Sony camera) then you won't appreciate how wonderful it can be and helpful for keeping ISO low. Modern IS can achieve up to 4 stops extra beyond the reciprocal rule you quote, though that rule predates pixel-peeping. I'd say this image still falls into the "acceptably sharp" range the old rule aimed for (it prints large just fine), but not pixel-peeping sharp for those who judge FP by looking at little crops of picture at 100% on their monitors. The more you push beyond the rule, the less guaranteed the IS will help. Many instructors suggest that when pushing the shutter speed limit, to fire off several frames just to be sure. Tony Northrup recommends a Rule of Doubles technique to shoot guaranteed well below the old limit. That works fine for static subjects, but 1/40s is also a bit slow for photographing people, unless they keep very still. -- Colin (talk) 08:46, 29 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thank you for what you shared Colin. As i said i do not use stabilised lenses (i still use an old Rolleiflex and an Hasselblad sometimes:-) ); that is why I always try to lean on someone as a human tripod when needed: even if I drink 3 coffees a day (espresso, which is strong and make hands shaking a bit) i can be still most of the times: here File:Innocenzo Fraccaroli (1805-1881) Eva prima del peccato (1842) tre quarti posteriori.jpg i shot at 1/30 freehands with a 50mm (fullframe sensor, Canon 5d mark II) and the pic is quite sharp. But it is a simple documentaristc pic which is meant to be printed in a small size and, of course, the subject aws very still:-).Paolobon140 (talk) 09:05, 29 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

As it is practically not really usable in state for most of us, @Huntster: could you upload an alternative downsized version (example 8'000 or 12'000 pixels large) with a link on this one, so that we can reuse it easily ? That's what en:Template:Css image crop is for. Do fix the tilt, of course. but if you remove too much paper, it makes it impossible to print it in a way that resembles the original artwork: There's no paper grain to cover the edges, and unless the aspect ratio is absolutely identical, gutters will need added, or parts of the image cropped out. The border is absolutely part of this style of print.  Support as it stands, though. Adam Cuerden (talk) 05:23, 5 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It was really impressive to see the PS code rendered as a tiger picture ;–). On my old Quadra 840AV this took quite some seconds. Good old times! ;–) … Today, of course, there is nothing special anymore about this graphics. IMHO it is of historical interest only — really nice for an article about Ghostscript or PostScript or the history of computer graphics. Does it really matter what the horse is jumping over? It looks great as is. It might have been better, if we want to include what the horse is jumping, to show more space below it as well so we can better appreciate the exertion required. Daniel Case (talk) 18:59, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I still have some tens of show jumpers on stock: with more/less obstacle, with bottom, without bottom and obstacle. Maybe I will come up eventually with one of them. But the wider the crop the more distracting advertisments will appear. Sports at this level is big business.  Comment The rules say: you shall not upscale an image to make it appear less detailed. --Granada (talk) 13:29, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Comment The rules are talking about downsizing to let appear better quality - I could not find anything about upscaling, it is not favourable anyway. I´m going to upload the original crop size immediately --Isiwal (talk) 14:06, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
As in QI, the guidelines say "Do not save edited JPEGs with a significantly higher quality than the original - doing so increases an image's file size but not its quality".  Comment The dark in not a shadow but the center line on the bottom of the swimming lane. The red reflection comes from a canopy above the starting blocks which provides shadow for the time keepers and other officials, visible because of the low angle to the surface of the water. The low position of camera imo was necessary to isolate the head from the background. --Isiwal (talk) 17:34, 13 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Two Arecaceae (palm trees) in the fields viewed through a hole in a tree stump damaged by fire in Don Tao (Si Phan Don, Laos), at sunrise. Impression of a natural organic frame or window highlighting the main subject of the landscape. Droste effect and self-reference (recursion), poetically this picture shows two healthy trees like a rebirth through the carcass of a third one in the foreground.
  • Ok, thanks for the feedback. I hesitated with this close-up at sunset. That was my first photo in the evening before I come back early morning the next day before sunrise to take the 4 other ones, including this shot. If more opinions join your feeling, I may nominate the alternative instead, and maybe come back again to the spot for another full view with a more special sky (without guarantee). But here I like the stump well isolated and the deserted horizon, except the 2 palm trees inside. I will be grateful for more opinions. Kind regards -- Basile Morin (talk) 06:20, 16 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Scrapped manholes and covers in Brastad
  • Sorry, Ikan is right that this was an opportunistic photo. This was during the road works here and the pile was there one day and gone the next. I like having the whole pile in the shot with all the shapes it presents. The low raking light helps enhance the outlines of the covers, I'm not that sure a higher angle of the sun would have made the pile this interesting. I also like the contrast between the fresh sunlit spring grass and the old tired darker rusty object. --Cart (talk) 08:50, 14 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

River bank of the island of Don Khon (Si Phan Don, Laos) with stilt wooden houses, in sunshine at golden hour, seen from Don Det with a leaning Arecaceae (palm tree) in the foreground and colorful clouds
  • There was foliage at the base, and I really did my best to get the best angle, considering the relief and features of the landscape, with this light. The picture is 6403 px large, and the small part I cut was on the right side, not on the left. But if it seems to hover, this tree has definitely a very special shape, having grown almost horizontally. See how the top is curved. Thanks for your comment -- Basile Morin (talk) 00:44, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Weak support Imo the palm tree is the dominating and formative element of the picture and should not hover. Without the tree it would be a trivial exposure of a river bank with huts. I am not really convinced to support, but also can´t decide to oppose. Therefore a weak pro for the fine overall impression. --Isiwal (talk) 09:25, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Between support and oppose you can also vote {{Neutral}}, but of course here a weak support is a better choice objectively . Thanks for your vote, Isiwal, by the way instead of the template {{Weak support}}, that is not recognized here by the bot, for your information only {{s}} and {{o}} are valid for the score, thus you have to write something like {{s|Weak support}} so that your vote is taken into account. Black worn leather jacket - detail

We have very few really good photos of clothes here, so guys, surely some of you must have something worth shooting? A sleek pinstripe, the pleats of a tartan, hats, that ghastly sweater your mother knitted you for Christmas, even a scruffy-looking camera bag would be welcome. Sun and moon at sunset
  • Thank you for spotting the gable, I totally missed that. Not sure how the shadow on the left came to be. I was leaning out of an open window taking these photos. Saying that the moon was copied in is a very serious accusation. When I get home I will upload all the nine photos and the raw files in my dropbox and post a link to to it here. After that you might want to withdraw your faulty comment. Is such a thing really what you think of me or is this payback for my opposing your photo? I have been waiting for years to be able to do this photo since a waxing new moon only occurs at winter solstice about every 19th year, and then to be accused of pasting is unbelievable! You can take a look at the Photographer's Ephemeris and see and compare the positions of the celestial bodies that day and time. Taking the photos, I put the focus on the moon and the sun in those photos, since I wanted those features as sharp as possible. For the shots in between, I focused on the treeline since focus didn't lock on the clouds. Matching the exposures in Lightroom wasn't easy since the light varied so much over the scene. The left side had to be stepped down a bit to match the right side, but I wanted to keep the moon bright and visible so I did a local exposure adjustment on it back to original exposure. Some bits of sky up right and a small piece of dark land down left were missing after the panorama merge/projection, and I used aware fill for those. Last some light and color adjustment. That's it. --Cart (talk) 14:19, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • I have been advised by another user that I shouldn't need to upload all the original photos, Ermell should AGF and take my word for this being real, but at least I want to show the original for the moon photo. Here it is in my dropbox, jpeg and raw. Anyway, I've taken a lot of shit here FPC because of my experimental photos, including being accused of devaluing the FP status with them. Now being accused of cheating was the last straw, and as of now I'm leaving FPC and the FP project. --Cart (talk) 16:09, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    •  Comment I did not mean that it is so but that it would be possible which would not have been easy work. The moon fits very well into the picture and is just perfectly exposed which is often a problem with such pictures. I don't really understand the excitement.--Ermell (talk) 18:45, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Please Ermell, don't play misunderstood and innocent. Your English is excellent and you are perfectly capable of expressing exactly what you mean. If it truly was a mistake saying that the moon "is probably copied in" and insulting me, then just apologizing would have been easy to do. But you did not do that. I came here again because Colin 'pinged' me, I will not make a habit of it. --Cart (talk) 19:07, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment Thanks for the compliment, but I find it rather mediocre. What can be read between the lines is not always easy to see. By "copied in" I did not mean that there was no moon. If it would have been overexposed one could have improved it so. Sorry if that caused so much excitement here but I never thought about fraud. Impositions do not help in any case and are unfair.--Ermell (talk) 19:23, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • On processing the RAW file supplied, I have uncovered that this is no moon. Cart has turned to the Dark Side of the Force. But seriously, Ermell, your "moon .. is probably copied in" looks like you are accusing Cart of faking this photo's special composition of sun and moon together. At the very least, if you just meant an exposure blend was used, then you should have asked that as a question rather than an allegation. Why say "probably copied" when you can ask Cart for yourself? It comes across as hostile. I don't see the "faults" you claim. If I greatly increase the brightness and examine the bottom few pixels of this 50MP image, I can see a slight uncertain line of white gable, but this is definitely being petty to oppose over that. The bad faith and petty nit picking make me think you are taking the votes at Commons:Featured picture candidates/File:Bamberg Grain Silo 6140208.jpg in a bad way and revenge voting here. I ask Ermell that you apologise for your accusation of cheating (composition or exposure) and bad faith towards Cart. If you are indeed in a bad mood over your other candidate, then strike your vote and take a break from FPC. -- Colin (talk) 18:23, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment I have not accused anyone of fraud here, that is now itself an accusation and revenge vote is not my thing. I would have a lot to do. Those who cannot live with criticism always have a hard time in life.--Ermell (talk) 19:09, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment That my comment could possibly be taken as such by all English-speaking here as a fraud accusation was not intended and that would also not be very constructive. How this is to be understood I have now explained in detail enough. If I have come too close to anyone with this, please excuse me. Since I, like many of you here, use the translation machine, I usually hold myself back a little because to conduct extensive dialogues can be very time-consuming.--Ermell (talk) 22:40, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Left rose window of the Gedächtniskirche der Protestation in Speyer, Germany, also called Märtyrerfenster (“Window of the martyrs”).
  • Most of the FPs of stained-glass windows do not show the stone around the window, just more or less black. So maybe my error is rather that I made the stone around (and between) the stained glass too bright (this also caused the noise you see in the dark areas). Would the image be better for you if I just make the stones darker again, showing (more or less) the stained glass only? --Aristeas (talk) 12:57, 21 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Support I'm afraid I don't see at all the issues Ikan notes. Even at 100% the stained glass is noise-free and sharp (I wouldn't want any more sharpening applied). There's good detail. I don't have any problem with the crop -- not interested in the stone. On the monitor I'm using just now, the stone is very dark so hard to tell what is texture and what is noise or to care. If you do decided to adjust that bit, consider painting the stone with a -ve sharpening local adjustment (equal in magnitude to your +ve global sharpening amount), rather than painting with +ve NR (or using global NR) -- best to eliminate any noise-enhancement caused by sharpening. Another option is to apply more global sharpening mask (hold down Alt while you adjust it to see where the mask is applied).
The bottom left quadrant is a little less bright (looking at your first upload, I wonder if there is an issue with the light shining in) and perhaps the exposure/highlights in that area could be adjusted a little more to even it out. If I'm being picky, there's a little purple CA especially at the bottom edge. If you decide to fix that, be careful with Lightroom's CA dropper tool and a global fix -- it can cause a thick grey edge to appear on areas of the photo that are genuinely purple (such as a coat). So either try to fix it with +ve CA removal local adjustment tool on the CA areas, or fix it globally and then use -ve CA local adjustment to protect purple coat areas from being harmed. But the CA is only noticeable if I pixel peep. -- Colin (talk) 12:31, 21 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your instructive review! I will try to follow your hints, as soon as I can spare some time. --Aristeas (talk) 12:59, 21 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you all for your support, reviews and criticism! ;–) While checking Colin’s suggestions for improving this image, I found another shot of the same window which offers much better reserves for raw file processing (it is ISO 100). I had rejected and almost forgotten that shot (because it looked worse at the first glance), but now I think it would be wiser to develop that almost forgotten shot instead; it would be a worthier FP candidate than this one. Sorry, I should have realized that before nominating this shot here, but (as I said) I almost forgot the alternative one.

Therefore I withdraw this nomination, thank you again for your reviews, I am sorry if I have wasted your time, and hope that you will like the alternative shot (even) better. I will probably upload it only next year, as processing it will take some time (masking the dark areas etc.) and this will not be possible before Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Thank you again!

 I withdraw my nomination Aristeas (talk) 17:03, 21 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

PS: Colin, your hints were not in vain! I will use them when editing the alternative image file and probably also update the present one accordingly.

Yes you are right, my vote is not because the chromatic aberration problem, my vote is because the picture quality itself. I can see noise and motion focus problem and a and a quality that we should expect from a compact (like Canon SX30) camera but not a 50mpx DSLR Canon EOS 5DS. IMHO, the light was good and f/9 was probably excessive, the quality in general is not at the level of other FP of birds to which we are accustomed. --Photographer 19:27, 26 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
