This artwork contains a photograph from Brazil from around 1968. This appears to be an artistic photograph that would receive copyright protections under Brazilian Law (non-artistic photographs published before 1998 did not receive such protection). Under the COM:URAA, as the photograph and the derivative work of the album cover would be protected in Brazil on the URAA date, this image is copyrighted in the United States. Furthermore, the Amazon link provides no CC-BY-SA 4.0 international license, so the license for this artwork is likely invalid. - I would like to know which license I should use in these case. In English version of the Wiki page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Os_Mutantes_(album) there is the same image and with the same link. - There is a Non-free media information and use rationale for Os Mutantes (album) on the Wikipedia file page. What this means is that the file is not available under a free license, and it is only hosted on the English Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. This appears to a derivative work of Getty Images rights-controlled photo ID #1151616601 by Mike Hewitt. In this case, the editor appears to have photoshopped a face (presumably their own face) onto a photo of Liton Das. This is Getty Images rights-controlled photo ID #1183032419 by Scott Legato. The uploader ScottLegato1 has a user name very similar to the photographer's name. National animal redirects could be useful but they have to be limited to nations, not for anything else. The artist of this watercolor painting is not "unknown"; it's Russian architect en:Dmitry Chechulin, who died in 1981. So the painting won't enter the PD in Russia until 2055 (including the WW II extension), and the file should be deleted. It can be restored in 2055. Rosenzweig τ 10:34, 17 August 2022 (UTC)

- I do not feel the image warrants deletion due to there being better quality images in the same vehicle category, if we were to just delete all the "bad" or "worse" quality images in their respective categories we would be left with nothing to look through except the best 1 or 2 images of that specific thing. This is a place to upload images that may be useful to somebody, whilst the image may not be the best in it's category, if you looked around, it would be far from the worst, but I would argue even the worst image quality doesn't deserve deletion for simply that reason. - I pertially-agree with your sentiments we should host images regardless of quality however in this specific case we have 110 images of this vehicle in different colours, angles and qualities and the chances of anyone using this image over say this image, this image or this image are slim to none.
- Of course if this were a 2006 or 2016 image we wouldn't be here now but it's 2022 so unless uploading old images then there really isn't any excuse for poor quality images (although I understand not everyone can afford a smartphone or state of the art camera). –Davey2010Talk 21:06, 17 August 2022 (UTC)

- With vans and such like these, there are so many different body styles (single, double, quad cab, box, no box, pick-up, caged pick-up, enclosed, open) and this one is a different body style yet again to any of those linked, so that's another reason I feel it isn't necessary for deletion. However, back to the original point of quality, I don't know about yourself but I have uploaded much worse quality images than this of cars, simply because at the time of taking the photo, I didn't have a good apparatus to take the photo with, as you say, not everyone can afford a fancy phone or camera. Even my, or other peoples terrible quality images could be useful on something such as a registry, for example, some of my terrible images are of things such as Bugattis, which people like to keep track of, some/all of those that I took in GoodWood 2018 are terrible images, but somebody documenting that still might want to use them because there might not be another image of that exact vehicle, exact place, exact angle etc.
- I would understand a lot more if Wikimedia had an upload limit, and the images were just taking up unnecessary storage space, but as far as i'm aware there isn't a limit (correct me if i'm wrong of course though)MrWalkr (talk) 17:25, 19 August 2022 (UTC)

The file is a set of illuminated pillars decorated with various kimono (a type of Japanese clothing) patterns in Kyoto, Japan. As the whole artwork is designed by Japanese designer Yasumichi Morita (1967-), it is still copyrightable in Japan per the country's copyright period of 70 years pma. Per COM:FOP Japan, there are no free FOP for artwork in Japan. As the whole artwork is covered in the image for a significant portion, the file also fall outside of de minimis: see COM:VPC#POTD on 2022-08-03 for elaborations.

Keep Not a sculpture. There are 600 tubes in this train station, and you can't photograph this place without shooting the pillars around. Beautiful street lamps, but not copyrighted in my opinion.

Dicho esto, podría inclinarme por el borrado solo si surgen pruebas de que este logotipo está registrado en la Dirección de Propiedad Intelectual, caso contrario mantengo mi posición de mantenerlo porque a mí parecer es una figura muy simple. Si revisas COM:TOO hay logotipos de ejemplo mucho más complejos que este y que sin embargo están en el dominio público por simples, al menos en los Estados Unidos, que es donde están alojados los servidores de Commons. The source website https://www.ebc.com.br/termos-de-uso-e-condicoes-gerais-do-portal-da-ebc states that material can be reused, however, it does not state it can also be changed.
