Comment Bonjour Thibaut120094,- J'ai reçu les 4 photos par mail de l'auteur (Thomas Goisque), pour illustrer la page "Fort de Madama" sur Wikipedia. Il me les a bien envoyées à ma demande en vue de leur publication sur wikipedia. Toutefois il ne les a pas téléchargées lui-même ni envoyé l'autorisation de licence libre à Commons.
- J'ai donc envoyé un mail à Thomas Goisque il y a 3 jours pour lui signaler le problème, avec la lettre-type et l'adresse mail pour accorder la licence libre. J'espère qu'il comprendra les règles strictes de wikipedia et acceptera. A défaut, il faudra supprimer ces 4 photos. Merci d'attendre quelques jours encore...

- Comment En complément de mon post d'hier, je confirme que l'auteur des photos (Thomas Goisque) a envoyé l'e-mail à permissions-commons-fr@wikimedia.org avec la licence libre (double licence GFDL / Cc-by-sa 3.0) mardi 6 janvier à 08:49. Les photos ne devraient donc plus être supprimées.

Because it was recently proposed for deletion on en.wiki on the strength of existing here on Commons. I had tried to emphasize that en.wiki is its natural home (it's used on a few userpages there), by marking it {{esoteric file}}, but that didn't stop somebody from nomming it for en.wiki deletion. :-( Please let's keep it on en.wiki and, to that end, remove it from Commons, where it's of no use. - Yes: I think it's always likely to be deleted from Commons as useless, and if it then doesn't exist on en.wiki, it'll be gone. I don't feel it's safe on Commons, because of its... uh… nature. When it was proposed for en.wiki deletion a week ago because it exists on Commons, I could vividly picture how it would then soon enough be deleted on Commons. Wrong image creation date. This event was held between 5 April 2011 till 8 April 2011. Such images were widely circulated on social media. Hence authorship and capacity to licence this Indian work to Commons is dubious. EXIF shows Photoshop used on 11 April 2011. This doesn't seem to be an actual coat of arms. The Romanian communes' coats of arms have a certain format: no ribbon and a mural crown. This doesn't have any, so it begs the question whether or not it was approved by Government Resolution. Primarily, it shows a woman standing by several video games. She is certainly identifiable in the photo. It is not clear if the person uploading the photo is the person who published the photo at flickr; if not it is quite possible the subject has not consented to the use of the photo for anything other than the personal usage of the photographer. - Comment On the other hand, Da Vinci schemes in his time was the equivalent of the current project books "Blue Books Design Guides", the exhibition presents the reproduction as faithful to the original schemes(obviously within the constraints of a scheme) in this way would not be a work of art but a small-scale prototype using the techniques and materials of the time of the original scheme. I believe this would be the most appropriate to describe the object in question. Otherwise all other pictures of prototypes in this category(and many others) should be considered works of art and removed (Of course this is just an ironic way to draw attention to the absurdity of the question, I hope no one takes it seriously). - Delete I'm fairly convinced this has (sadly) to be a copyvio. It is not a utilitarian item (a real tank) but instead a reduced-sized model with cut-out for showing the insides. Creating this from da Vinci's sketches is a work of art and subject to copyright. If this work was on permanent display in some countries, then it would be permitted due to the rules governing 3D art on permanent display in a public space. - Delete This is a permanent exhibition, however, not in one place because it is in constant movement around the world. Always free and in public spaces. However, I have some doubts about the process of reproduction. As Colin says, this was not done to actually operate. The intent of the engineer / craftsman was, display internally operation at a small scale, without putting a real interest in the appropriate measures and materials for operation. This case was not very obvious to me, and still remains, however, in these cases it is better to delete the image. It's a shame, because I took 437 photos of different objects in this exhibition that never can be uploaded. Kept: The photo was imported to the commons under an acceptable license. The claim here is not that this image is harming the subject and that a substitute would be preferred, but that because the original flickr account was deleted that should ipso facto make this image unacceptable. That is not accurate to the best of my understanding. If the subject of the image would like this image removed from the commons due to fear of embarrassment or harm, she should either contact OTRS with reason for said concern, or, better yet, provide the commons with an acceptable substitute. This file has been replaced with a higher quality version with a more appropriate name: Flag_of_Amestris_(Fullmetal_Alchemist).svg (see preview). The wikis that link to this file have been updated. The replacement file has Fullmetal Alchemist added in parenthesis to suggest that this is a fictional country; the naming of this current file is used for real life uses of a flag connected to the name Amestris.

- Keep and delete the duplicated, and re-edit the articles to link to this image back. Just upload the new version here instead of uploading with a different name. Also, the subject in the flag is just a pseudo-heraldic representation of the Amestris (pseudo because is a fictional subject of a fictional flag/coat of arms), and this file seems worse than the original Amestris (and also the dupe one). --Amitie 10g (talk) 19:43, 10 January 2015 (UTC)
- Delete The wiki pages referring to the fictional country in question are named "Amestris (Fullmetal Alchemist)", therefore the flag should have the same naming convention.
