How do you know the it is from GettyImages? GI images at football.ua have the author 'GETTY IMAGES' in EXIF-metadata. Bet here I do not see such filed in EXIF.--Anatoliy (talk) 12:02, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
- At the alleged source site the image carries a caption "(C) Getty Images". Nobody would voluntarily label a non-Getty image like that. Anybody can remove everything from the EXIF dataset. --Túrelio (talk) 13:06, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

- Delete per own nomination: Website appears to be registered from Estonia. From the website content, it looks unlikely that the website will ever be notable enough for its logo to meet COM:SCOPE. The logo itself appears to be a modified Home Box Office logo, but I'm not bothering to research the threshold of originality in Estonia, since the uploader already asserts a claim of no license ("all rights reserved"). The website also blatantly uses a mis-colored NBC Peacock as their current logo, so their own analysis of copyright and trademark eligibility is probably going to be a bit fuzzy. --Closeapple (talk) 04:57, 19 March 2012 (UTC)

- After some critic I made to Dereckson on IRC, he choosen for vengence to ask to delete this uploaded files. No chance for him, I only had to find the author of this building to match the FoP for china. I then asked informations to some friends that reside in this city. - Note: Wikimedia Commons isn't a game, where editors use DR as a way to pursue "vengence", as you try to indicate. The building's architect is an information required by China law to apply the freedom of panorama exception, and so the lack of information were an issue.
- Furthermore, your rationale would mean Wikimedia Commons editors allow or deny people to upload controversial content (on a copyright approach) based on their like/dislike feelings. - I'm the photographer & uploader. If people feel the sculptural portion of the fountain figures prominently enough here that it's an issue, I have no problem with deletion. I specifically tried to take it in such a way that the emphasis would be on the water (not copyrightable) and the surrounding architecture (variously PD & FOP), but perhaps I failed. Also, while I'm not sure of the date of the fountain, if it's pre-1989, there is a fair chance it is PD. Tsutakawa died in 1997, but I know this is relatively late work, so it could be post-1989, which is why I was trying not to emphasize sculptural elements. - Jmabel ! talk 14:25, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
- Actually, that's a good point--I would agree that the sculptures are probably not the focus of the image and are about 40% blocked by the water spray, all of which makes a good case for De minimis treatment. - I am not so sure about this one. It is very true that this document is indeed not CC-Zero (public domain) and there is a copyright statement in the front pages of this document. However, I seen {{PD-UN}} used on similar documents from WHO and other sub-agencies. I am not sure if it will apply to this document because everything was done to establish copyright according to http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Administrative_Instruction_ST/AI/189/Add.9/Rev.2 and I did not see anything about documents issued by sub-agencies. - If that were a valid rationale, then we'd have smaller copies of everything. If used in an article, all someone has to download is a small thumbnail. If they click on that, they get the image description page which has a larger thumbnail. Only if they click through that do they get the full size file. And as far as full size files go, Rumichaca.JPG is only medium sized. I can't think of ANY valid reason (or any commons policy) that would justify keeping a low resolution version of any file. – JBarta (talk) 08:20, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
- In addition, image description pages usually contain a series of links to various sizes of the image. If you don't want the whole image in its full beastly resolution, you have a few lower resolutions to choose from. I've removed a speedy deletion tag as this isn't a clear-cut issue. The images are several years old and one was deleted in 2008, shortly after upload. See Commons:Deletion_requests/Image:Gautrain_Front_Art.jpg. The issue is that watermarked copies of these images appear on a commercial Gautrain website.
Given that these images are unwatermarked, and that the uploader's username suggests a connection with Gautrain, then I would personally believe that they're most likely acceptable for use at Commons (or at least, Wikipedia) but that they would still require OTRS permissions recording, which they don't have. That would also over-ride any concerns over the precise identity of the individual photographer.

- There doesn't seem to be any time limit on that page, so I'd assume that the permission is valid as long as the Internet Archive is listed as source. Similarly, you can't repeal a CC licence by changing licence tagging on Flickr; the old licence still continues to apply. --Stefan4 (talk) 01:08, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
- True but it does not say "commercially available" nor does it say "allows derivatives" so I feel OTRS verification is perhaps necessary. Mind you the uploads were in 2005-2006 when it was simpler times. - I think, the quality is poor enough for a TV screenshot, and if the uploader did the screenshots himself and uploaded on Commons subsequently, it is clear that Google does not find them on non-wikimedia sites. - A.Savin 15:16, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
