Edit summary

When editing a page on Commons there is a small field labeled "Edit Summary" or "Summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the Edit Summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the Edit Summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's name in the Edit Summary field - please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you.--Trixt (talk) 10:04, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

Tip: Add categories to your files
Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.

Notification about possible deletion

Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Pay attention to copyright
File:CommaFeed Screenshot Persian.png has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.

The file you added may soon be deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please replace the copyvio tag with and have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you disagree that the file is a copyright violation for any other reason, please replace the copyvio tag with a regular deletion request.

Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Counter Vandalism Unit

Hi Ebrahim,

You now have the Patroller right and may call yourself a patroller! Please take a moment to read the updated Commons:Patrol to learn how Patrolling works and how we use it to fight vandalism.

As you know already, the patrolling functionality is enabled for all edits, not just for new-page creations. This enables us to keep track of, for example, edits made by anonymous users here on Commons.

We could use your help at the Counter Vandalism Unit. For example by patrolling an Anonymous-edits checklist and checking a day-part.

If you have any questions please leave a message on the CVU talkpage or ask for help on IRC in #wikimedia-commons.

Hi Ebraminio, thanks for your application to be an image reviewer. The application has been removed as successful, and you've been added to the list of reviewers. You can review all kind of image licenses on Commons. Please see Commons:License review and Commons:Flickr files if you haven't done so already. We also have a guide how to detect copyright violations. Backlogs include Flickr review, Picasa review, Panoramio review, and files from other sources. You can use one of the following scripts by adding one of the lines to your common.js:

importScript('User:ZooFari/licensereviewer.js'); // stable script for reviewing images from any kind of source OR
importScript('User:Rillke/LicenseReview.js'); // contains also user notification when review fails, auto blacklist-check and auto-thank you message for Flickr-reviews.

You can also add User reviewer or User trusted to your user page if you wish. Thank you for your contributions on Commons!--Steinsplitter (talk) 07:14, 1 August 2013 (UTC)

I have 1 granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it to revert-war. --Steinsplitter (talk) 20:46, 1 August 2013 (UTC)

Hi Ebraminio, you're now a filemover. When moving files please respect the following advice:

  • Use the CommonsDelinker link in the Rename template to order a bot to replace all ocurrences of the old title with the new one. Or, if there was no rename-request, please use the Move & Replace-tab.
  • Please leave a redirect behind unless you have a valid reason not to do so. Other projects, including those using InstantCommons, might be using the file even though they don't show up in the global usage. Deleting the redirects would break their file references. Please see this section of the file rename guideline for more information.
  • Please know and follow the file rename guidelines.

I see you copied enwiki's version of navbox, but I found a problem. In Common.css, the hlist class should be declared before any other classes using hlist (including navbox), to prevent CSS being applied in the wrong order. As it is now, there will be spacing and padding errors in navbox. Just thought you should kmow. Edokter (talk) — 18:03, 15 August 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for helping! :) Please check if is okay now −ebraminiotalk 18:45, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
CSS Looks good now! However, the code that collapses navboxes seems not to work correctly with the new navbox setup, but you have probably seen that yourself on the testcases page. Edokter (talk) — 19:52, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
Hmm, no, I can't see. Is a JS/CSS caching bug? If not, can you investigate about it? −ebraminiotalk 20:05, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
Indeed, it seems to have resolved itself. Edokter (talk) — 21:47, 15 August 2013 (UTC)

Help needed

Hi! I have a few tasks for you! If you like that is.

  1. Could you check File:Chemical weapons Halabja Iraq March 1988.jpg here and see if you can locate the source? Seems to be linked to Commons:Deletion requests/File:Ghouta massacre1.JPG
  2. Is File:Easter sunday calculations.pdf in scope?
  3. What is the purpose of File:Jadvalش.png this table?

Thanks a bunch! --Hedwig in Washington (mail?) 00:25, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

Hi!
  1. File:Chemical weapons Halabja Iraq March 1988.jpg is OK IMO. Sajed.ir guys showed Persian Wikipedia admins they have original negative of their pictures and they are owner of the pictures so I trust them at least. I can not see any relation, first picture is in Iraq and took while Iran-Iraq war while second is in Syria.
  2. Seems is a religious text about Islamic view of resurrection. I don't think but it is in Arabic and my Arabic skill is very low so I rather an Arabic speaking contributor take decision about it.
  3. It is some data about rains and usage of water on Marivan district. It is used on a Persian Wikipedia article and the table must wikified. But IMO such information needs reliable source.
Thank you for letting me know :) −ebraminiotalk 07:10, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
My plesaure to dump some extra work on you! There's more where that came from! I am not sure how I can distinguish between AR and FA just by looking at the text. BTW: Seems like we only have one ar-n admin on Commons and that one is not responding to notes on the talk page. Maybe you have someone in mind who could be a good admin here? --Hedwig in Washington (mail?) 21:46, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
No problem at all, I really would be happy to help you in such cases. About second case, if it was in Wikipedia I would speedy delete it but for here, I feel it is somehow in borderline, from the text itself, I see it is not copyright violation (as the uploader name as the author is in text), is a professional article and not a encyclopedic article, has some table to help calculation something [that I don't understand what is :P] therefore may has some useful education content; that is why I don't have enough confidence to make out of scope deletion request for it. But I still can help you on Arabic cases specially copyright issues so no need to worry. I know some typographical based approach to distinguish Arabic from Persian usable for someone doesn't know any of them but they are very heuristic and inaccurate and BTW there would not problem if you bring Arabic cases here, I will help you on them as far I can :) −ebraminiotalk 07:48, 5 September 2013 (UTC)

Azimuth parameter in location template / Irritating direction of the north arrow

Hi Ebraminio! I've recently posted a question on Village pump about the direction of the arrow in the Location template. Could you please comment my question there because you added azimuth. IMHO the direction of the arrow is really irritating for the average user and should be changed to the heading. No one (despite some geo experts) have ever heard of azimuth, whereas heading (the direction of the camera) is wide-spread and is also used in the EXIFs and in tools like Geolocator. I wrote a bit of the LUA parser, heading image in SVG and rotate template and my solution originally was similar to what you want now but honestly I don't know which is right for heading angle, sorry. See the related talk. I think you should ask User:Jarekt about the change. −ebraminiotalk 12:50, 6 January 2014 (UTC)

Picture of the Year 2013 R2 Announcement

Round 2 of Picture of the Year 2013 is open!

2012 Picture of the Year: A pair of European Bee-eaters in Ariège, France.

Dear Wikimedians,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2013 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2013) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. The top 30 overall and the most popular image in each category have continued to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just one image to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 2 will end on 7 March 2014. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguage/Commons:Picture_of_the_Year/2013/Introduction/en Click here to learn more and vote »]

Thanks,

Request for feedback on my GSoC'14 proposal

Hi Ebraminio,

I am planning to work on the project titled "Tools for mass migration of legacy translated wiki content" this summer under Google Summer of Code. I have drafted a proposal for the same over the past few weeks. This project is going to help the translation adminstrators like you in a great way, as it would completely automate the tedious manual task of preparing a page for translation and then importing the translations into the Translate extension. You can check the proposal page for detailed information on how I plan to accomplish this.

As you would be an end user of this tool, it would be great if you could go through the proposal and provide feedback/suggestions. Your feedback would definitely help me improve the proposal as well help in creating an even better tool. You can do the same on the discussion page of the proposal or reply here, whichever is convenient for you. I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you!

P.S: I need to submit the proposal to Google by March 19, 2014.

The 2013 Picture of the Year. View all results »

Dear Ebrahim,

The 2013 Picture of the Year competition has ended and we are pleased to announce the results: We shattered participation records this year — more people voted in Picture of the Year 2013 than ever before. In both rounds, 4070 different people voted for their favorite images. Additionally, there were more image candidates (featured pictures) in the contest than ever before (962 images total).

  • In the first round, 2852 people voted for all 962 files
  • In the second round, 2919 people voted for the 50 finalists (the top 30 overall and top 2 in each category)

We congratulate the winners of the contest and thank them for creating these beautiful images and sharing them as freely licensed content:

  1. 157 people voted for the winner, an image of a lightbulb with the tungsten filament smoking and burning.
  2. In second place, 155 people voted for an image of "Sviati Hory" (Holy Mountains) National Park in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine.
  3. In third place, 131 people voted for an image of a swallow flying and drinking.

Hi, I noticed you have set up User:MiszaBot to archive your talk page. Unfortunately, the bot has stopped working, and given how its operator is inactive, it is unclear when/if this will fixed. An offering for our new administrator from your comrades...

Ebrahim, congratulations! You now have administrator rights on Commons. Please take a moment to read the Commons:Administrators page and watchlist related pages (in particular Commons:Administrators' noticeboard and its subpages), before launching yourself into page deletions, page protections, account blockings or modifications of protected pages. The majority of the actions of administrators can be reversed by the other admins, except for history merges which must thus be treated with particular care. Have a look at the list of Gadgets (on the bottom there are the ones specifically for admins – however, for example the UserMessages are very helpful too).

Please feel free to join us on IRC: #wikimedia-commons webchat on irc.libera.chat. There is also a channel for Commons admins, which may be useful for more sensitive topics, or coordination among administrators: #wikimedia-commons-admin webchat.

You may find Commons:Guide to adminship to be useful reading. You can find the admin backlog overview at COM:AB.

Please also check or add your entry to the List of administrators and the related lists by language and date it references.

Template:AI

Hi Ebraminio, in the last weeks I did some major changes with Inkscape, Adobe and a lot of other templates of this subject. For simplification reasons I removed some unused and superfluous shortcuts, one of them is AI; it seems not so an advantage to write "AI" instead of "Adobe". For the moment I did not delete AI but abused it for template test needs, to delete it afterwards. It is of no obvious use to reinstall it as a redirect to Adobe, where its mentioning as a shortcut is removed. It is still an unused redirect. I undo your change where you did not set any comment what for it should be. I will make some more tests with it and then have it deleted. Regards, sarang사랑 06:35, 14 May 2014 (UTC)

Photo check

Hi Ebraminio, We met recently when I requested a filename move for this image, which you granted.
I just uploaded a photo of the "Blue Giant of the Orient", which is the largest sapphire in the world. The photo can be found in numerous places about the internet, esp on Jeweler's web pages and blogs, and so I believe it is in the public domain. (Do a Google for "blue giant sapphire".) I believe it is a trivial work, never copyrighted, as it is a photo of a world famous object that was once put up for public auction in a famous auction house (Christie's Auction House, in Geneva Switzerland). Would you give the image a check, per licensing info, etc, because I want to use the photo in an article I am creating and hope to submit it for a DYK nomination. Any and all help and feedback here would be greatly appreciated. (I have also posted this message on Green Giant's talk page.) -- Gwillhickers (talk) 01:20, 20 June 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thanks for improving Wikimedia Commons. Usually "The photo can be found in numerous places about the internet, esp on Jeweler's web pages and blogs, and so I believe it is in the public domain" is not a valid reason however please bring your issue to Commons:Village pump. Thank you −ebraminiotalk 06:56, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll give that forum a try. It would seem to me that if the photo is not designated by a copyright signature anywhere that it is not copyrighted. If there is no copyright designation to be found anywhere, no one could challenge the image for being copyrighted. Yes? I'll submit that question at the Pump also. -- Gwillhickers (talk) 15:38, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
Wikimedia Commons is just accepting works with clear copyright status and won't accept ones with unsure status. You know, that is generally because encouraging more free made works. Have a look at Commons:Project scope#Precautionary principle. −ebraminiotalk 16:46, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
Darn. In this case, given the item/subject, it almost seems there's no point in creating an article if we can't show the image. It would be like 'talking' about a sunset rather than showing its picture. Oh well. Thanks for all the information, at least I got a little more education about copyright issues. :-) I'll try to find out if there are any other such images than are clearly PD. -- Gwillhickers (talk) 17:31, 20 June 2014 (UTC)

Taxonavigation template edits

Hi Ebraminio - not sure what the purpose of your changes to the Taxonavigation templates is, but they've messed up the appearance, at least as displayed by firefox. I don't want to just revert in case it damages other more useful changes. Could you try to get the appearance back to how it was, please? Thanks! - MPF (talk) 11:34, 29 June 2014 (UTC)

Yes, what is the purpose of those modifications ?
  • Taxonavigation: you broke the first item. Now it is displayed in a second line
  • VN
    • The bdi tag is not suported by InternetExplorer, Safari and Opera.
    • You did not try the sandbox templates. So each modification you did was applied to 200.000 categories and articles.
Liné1 (talk) 16:25, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
@MPF, Liné1: I wanted to hlistify them. Weird, it looked okay when I did the changes. Thanks for revert and preventing further damage, of-course if I could see what actually went wrong was nice also. Just reverting of <bdi> was unrelated and not needed, you probably don't know propose of it as you don't know any RTL language, it just work like <span> most times however I agree you couldn't separate them as I mixed the two changes together with a little comment which I shouldn't. I redid <bdi> use, please check if is OK. −ebraminiotalk 08:04, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
1) Please, don't modify Module:Wikidata4Bio directly. I put a process in place that you know about: Module:Wikidata4Bio/sandbox. I documented it in Module:Wikidata4Bio and VN. If the documentation is not clear, tell me, I will improve it.
2) bdi is not a good idea as is does not work on all browser.
3) Could you tell me what purpose you follow ? Are you trying to correct a bug/limitation ?
Regards Liné1 (talk) 09:00, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
1) Next time for applying hlist, sure. I rushed of-course but did see the pages I was testing okay after the changes... 2) In browsers which is not supported it act just like a display:inline html tag, <span>, no need to worry 3) About hlist? See hlist. About bdi?
ebraminiotalk 09:20, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
@Liné1: Also thanks for bearing my rush on Wikidata4bio changes :) As you are expert on Wikidata4bio would be nice if you try or help on hlist-ifing it. −ebraminiotalk 09:28, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
Template:VN/testcases now looks OK except the last dot which was a bug IMO. Can you have a look at please? −ebraminiotalk 09:54, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
If looks good so I copied the improvment to the main module.
That is one of the big advantages of this sandbox features: you do a lot of tests in the sandbox with any summary then you copy the content in the main module with an interesting summary.
Regards Liné1 (talk) 12:12, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
Of-course. Thanks. −ebraminiotalk 12:16, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
You suppress the closing of the bdi. now you have a lot of opened bdi. Liné1 (talk) 13:02, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
Right. It was just a test if just one bdi would look good or not, I wasn't going to commit that :)
Shouldn't bold markup closed? I guess relying on that would break in future −ebraminiotalk 13:06, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

You are right, the bold closing was needed.
Please let us have a separate thread for taxonavigation.
Liné1 (talk) 13:23, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
@Liné1: OK. Please apply /sandbox if you see it right. Also would be nice if Wikidata4Bio could automatic capture parameters, just like Navbox, I guess it should use Module:Argumentsebraminiotalk 13:41, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
I will copy the version before automatic capture.
This getArgs is very interesting, but I need to verify what appends to additional parameters like |lang=en
Regards Liné1 (talk) 17:19, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
Thank you −ebraminiotalk 17:25, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
getArgs() is very interesting: it concatenates VN arguments with those of Module:Wikidata4Bio.
I did a lot of checks and then copied the code to VN and Module:Wikidata4Bio.
Regards Liné1 (talk) 19:13, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
@Liné1: Great! Now I see VN stable enough and its time to improve and LUAify Template:Taxonavigation! It can be simplified much I guess. Where you think its codes should be written? On a separate module or on Wikidata4Bio it-self? And can you start it out please? :) Specially LUAifing Taxonavigation/taxon use would be nice IMO. I would try HLISTifying it again afterward :) (on a sandbox, of-course)
Regards −ebraminiotalk 19:53, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
Taxonavigation is much, much more complex. I have a plan to rewrite it in Lua. But it will take time.
Can it wait a bit ?
I need time to prepare ;-)
Liné1 (talk) 19:58, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
Great! Of-course. Thank you! −ebraminiotalk 20:03, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
Do you think there is a way to do {{#ifexist: in lua ? That is test the exitance of a category or gallery ?
Cheers Liné1 (talk) 20:29, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
@Liné1: I think you need callParserFunction :) −ebraminiotalk 05:23, 1 July 2014 (UTC)
callParserFunction is supposed to be very expensive.
I think that there is something around Title objects::exists.
I found this english module having this test page.
So it seem feasible (I don't want to used the module Page that seem quite complex for not much).
Cheers Liné1 (talk) 12:01, 1 July 2014 (UTC)
Interesting! Thank you! −ebraminiotalk 14:38, 1 July 2014 (UTC)
@Liné1: Just for the record, I learned from the module you indicated and mw.title.new, can be done via mw.title.new('VP', 'COM').exists. Interesting that it has a mw.title.new('VP', 'COM'):getContent() for retrieving not parsed content of that page also. −ebraminiotalk 06:49, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
Yes this mw.title.new('VP', 'COM') is the solution. I already used getContent() but only on current page with mw.title.getCurrentTitle().
I just need to check what mw.title.new('Category', 'Non existing cat') does (return null or throw)
Did you know that anytime you put @Liné1: in you reply, I get a notification? This is very convenient.
Cheers Liné1 (talk) 08:22, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
Convenient or inconvenient? I guessed you wanted to get a notification about this because personally I don't use watchlist anymore but I won't do that if you don't like it :) −ebraminiotalk 09:05, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
Also I forget to say, title precedes namespace (which is not needed for main namespace pages) on the parameters so it should be mw.title.new('Non existing cat', 'Category') and it will return false if that title not exists but in case that namespace doesn't exist it throws an exception I guess −ebraminiotalk 09:18, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
Sorry, I meant, it is very cool as I don't need to check mu watchlist.
Thnks for the backward parameters and the return code.

Sun symbols

In scientific astronomy, the sun is a star, but in cultural symbolism, sun symbols and star symbols are often two separate things... AnonMoos (talk) 17:10, 13 August 2014 (UTC)

AnonMoos: Probably that depends on how you see categories on Wikimedia Commons, I am seeing them as navigation help for graphic works, for example some one wants to find similar graphics to this, Category:Star icons itself is not giving similar results but Category:Sun symbols is. One approach could be adding Category:Sun symbols to this and other could be using their real scientific relation and making it a subcat, I choose second −ebraminiotalk 18:17, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
I'm not able to follow all that, but one thing I do know is that when people in various cultures have devised sun symbols, they generally would have had very different experiences in mind than when they have devised star symbols. AnonMoos (talk) 19:37, 13 August 2014 (UTC)

Hi Ebraminio, executing document.querySelectorAll('img').length on material-design-icons/1.0.0/package/index.html results in 757. There are only 723 files in the category. Do you know where/which the missing 34 files are? -- Rillke(q?) 14:48, 28 October 2014 (UTC)

Hi! Hmmm, I don't know exactly. On their repository, there was lots of duplicate icons with variants on other sizes, I wanted to just upload biggest size (48px) so removed files with having 24px and 36px on their name but after start of uploading I find out some of the icons doesn't have 48px size and are just provided on 24px for example so I wrote a little code to find them, I guess the missing 34 icons belongs to that range (icons not provided on 48px size) or maybe icons not provided on SVG format (which I didn't check if that is occurring also) or maybe files missed during upload (I checked number of files after the upload with category count but probably still something missing). −ebraminiotalk 15:04, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
There is a release-download that has an HTML page listing all the icons with human-readable captions and categorizing them into topics like "action" and "alert". All of them are 24px and there are 757 different images. -- Rillke(q?) 15:23, 28 October 2014 (UTC)

File:PEO-apngasm-11.svg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

lua modules

Hello my friend,
You showed me something very important: how to retrieve in a lua module all the parameters passed to the calling template.
Do you remember how that works ?

Global bot

Hi Ebraminio, your Global bot Ebrambot was inactive for over a year. As interwiki links are no longer maintained via global bots, there is a consensus to remove Global bot flags from inactive accounts, and those active only on few projects (local bot flags to be requested instead of global). If you intend to run your bot globally with new functionality in near future please let us know here. Otherwise global bot flag will be removed, but you can re-request it later if needed. You can also request removal of global bot flag yourself if you wish so.----Shanmugamp7 (talk) 09:31, 15 June 2015 (UTC)

Pay attention to copyright
File:RuoosALgebal.18.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation.

The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

--Freshman404Talk 13:24, 14 June 2016 (UTC)

−ebrahimtalk 17:42, 14 June 2016 (UTC)
متاسفانه کار نمی کند. تشکر از شما--Freshman404Talk 10:48, 16 June 2016 (UTC)

Favour to ask — faWP tasks

Hi. We have Masroor bayati (a new user) who has converted a table from an English article to be an image here for use at faWP. The image of the table in that format would be considered out of scope by many, and the table itself is actually a template. So could you please organise the import of the template w:en:Template:Codon table to faWP, then we can look to remove the image. Thanks if you can help.  — billinghurst sDrewth 22:20, 30 December 2016 (UTC)
