This image is better the than the one recently used and is on the Finnish Wiki which I added a link to. I think that with enough effort then enought information to use it could be found. However, I don't know that much about the image copyrights as of now.I think someone should add the information from this page and reupload it or undelete it. https://fi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiedosto:UltraMagnus.jpg

- The images are very small, some contain drawings and illustrations, few to none are in use. When images are small and blurry, it is simple to assume that they were not created by uploader, since anyone uploading images would put the highest quality largest image available to them. - I believe there is a small misconception here. Not all YouTube videos are licensed under the CC BY license. YouTube's policy says that "The standard YouTube license remains the default setting for all uploads." The standard YouTube license does not allow reuse like the manner here. CC BY on YouTube only applies if the videos is specifically marked as so (see this video as an example: the description lists the license: "Creative Commons Attribution (reuse allowed)"). Only videos marked with this or similar notice are licensed under the CC BY license. - I understand the issue, you're right. The video specifically licensed to The Orchard Music, UMG, and The state51, and does not mean Creative Commons Attribution. That is mistake. You mean that screenshots are admirable only if the CC-BY reuse allowed tagged in the video.

[edit]Kyrgyz copyright law, Law No. 6 of January 14, 1998, on Copyright and Related Rights (as amended up to Law No. 42 of March 9, 2017) - accessible by [3] (with machine translation to English and other languages) has freedom of panorama that is limited to noncommercial uses only. The machine translation link at WIPO (sourced from Google), reads:
Article 21 Free use of works permanently placed in the open for free participation. The description of the work is permanent in the open for free participation without the consent of the author and without payment of royalties, unless the description of the work is the main object of reproduction, broadcast or public information or cable description. Reproduction, broadcasting or cable communication of works of architecture, photography, fine arts are allowed.
The COM:FOP Kyrgyzstan is wrong, someone should correct this. I already nominated the template I created, {{FoP-Kyrgyzstan}}, for deletion.
The Kyrgyz copyright laws conflict with Commons:Licensing, which requires that all files must be fit for commercial uses (e.g. publications of photos of copyrighted buildings and sculptures for post cards and calendars, or printing images of copyrighted buildings and sculptures on commercial T-shirts), complying with Wikimedia's mission of providing educational files that are freely reusable by anyone in the world, for any purpose. Unless the country amends its copyright law to finally allow, at the very least, pictorial and photographic reproductions of Kyrgyz architecture and other 3D artwork (sculptures etc.) for commercial purposes (this is mandated by Commons policy), these images are copyright infringements to the creators (architects, sculptors, etc) or their heirs if they are already deceased.
This deletion request was made after I was told that there was no change to the freedom of panorama status in Kyrgyzstan, implying that COM:FOP Kyrgyzstan is incorrect.

This is a picture of a satirical poster I've taken on a street and uploaded. It was already discussed several years ago as part of Election posters deletion request and kept. However it turned out that the author of this satirical poster could made a copyright violation. The source is this work by Michael Dashow. It looks like it is indeed an almost direct copy. Even some minor details match. The poster author put the copied figure in another context. The satirical election page Większe Zło does not exist for years and I am unable to ask them if they had permission. Please consider if that picture can be kept (can we ask for permission Michael Dashow when it is such an indirect copy involving now three parties?) and remove it if not. -- Jakubhal 20:40, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- It's not "almost", it's directly lifted from Dashow's original. I wrote Dashow, and he says he gave permission for the election poster (he has a copy hanging on his wall), is cool with it being on WP and would prefer it not be deleted. He suggested maybe it could "credit me and note 'used with permission'?" I don't know what exactly he had in mind for shareability and how that would fit in with our CC licenses.

In the October 30, 2020 webinar of Office for Alternative Dispute Resolution (OADR) in which the IPOPHL was a guest (you can access the Facebook Live video at https://www.facebook.com/276628309024583/videos/3418621604893278/?app=fbl , which for most part is in Filipino language), the "pictorial illustrations and advertisements" are mentioned as among the objects protected by copyright at point 40:27, protected for 50 years from the moment if creation. To legally publish these photos on free media repositories like Commons, the uploader is supposed to obtain permission from the graphics artist/s who made those ads. Without permission these are copyvios, considering the lack of freedom of panorama in the Philippines. Sadly, there is no mention of FoP during that webinar, despite the fact that FoP is being considered as one of the possible amendments in the ongoing review for the update of the copyright law of the Philippines. But I believe that even if FoP becomes fully existing in our country, billboard ads might not be included, as most countries with FoP around the world don't include graphic arts as among those included in the FoP exceptions, and in countries like USA and Russia, FoP applies only to habitable or able-to-be utilized architecture.

FOP is a gray area, one of the finer points of Philippine Copyright Law vis-a-vis the harder matter of De Minimis

- Keep As it is the variant version of Orignal Pakistan Peoples Party's flag with their arrow election symbol and this variant version flag is occasionally used by Pakistan Peoples Party to make difference from other breakaway factions too like Pakistan Peoples Party Workers faction also uses the same orignal party flag. Altough, I will suggest that thid file should be renamed to File:PPP Logo.png or File:PPP Flag with arrow.png etc. As,their is no logo currently used on Pakistan Peoples Party's main article and the flag is used in place of it and as mentioned the orignal party flag is used by other factions also so it can likely be used to distinguish the orignal Pakistan Peoples Party rather than other factions. And this file can easily fall under inelligibility as it consist of simple colured rectengular shapes, crescent, star and a simple arrow. - @B: As I mentioned above this flag design is used by Pakistan Peoples Party occaissionally sometimes to make a difference from the part's other factions. For example, here are some sources in which you can see the party supporters holding the same variant design flag [4], [5] [6] and at this source you can see the party's leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari adressing the speech in which on their dice the same variant designed flag is laid down on the dice. I can't see a clear statement anywhere that the Microsoft graphics are in the public domain. Checking the Windows 3.1 version of the game its Help page says "Copyright © 1985-1993 Microsoft Corp. by Robert Donner and Curt Johnson", and at least one Minesweeper clone acknowledges that the graphics are copyrighted. That some clones don't acknowledge it isn't enough to show that Wikimedia Commons can republish the graphics under a commercial CC licence. I see that https://templeos.org/ has "All content ... should be considered public domain" at the bottom, although that is not authoritative. File:HolyC Logo.svg has description "The Unofficial Logo of the programming language of HolyC, an SVG version of Smokeytube's logo". File:HolyC Logo.png (uploaded by Smokeytube) has description "The standard C logo with a yellow color scheme and a small cross". The image is not own work, and not from 25 Okt 2020. It is used on the internet before that, e.g. in https://stiften.dk/artikel/ungdomspolitiker-fra-aarhus-valgt-til-pr%C3%A6sident-for-nordisk-ungdomsforbund (newspaper article from 6 Oct 2020). When asked about this on da:Brugerdiskussion:DHNdanmark the uploader explained that he/she received the image from Mads Rundstrøm (the depicted person). - @Fraxinus2: Japanese copyright law was amended on December 30, 2018. At this time, the copyright term was extended from 50 years to 70 years. (see Article 51) In Japanese copyright law, the starting point for the calculation is the year after the year in which the author dies. ( see Article 57) In the past, her copyright would have expired on January 1, 2019, but it has been extended until January 1, 2039. Therefore, her copyright still exists.
