This file was initially tagged by 廣九直通車 as no permission (No permission since). However, I do not see anything suspicious here. The uploader has claimed "own work" (作者自己的作品 is chinese for "Author's own work"). The given name for author, 赵家乐, corresponds with the one on EXIF data (Zhao Jia Le). The user has uploaded three files in 2013 all of which have complete EXIF data and are consistent. Reverse search (Google and TinEye) does not show anything suspiciois either. 4nn1l2 (talk) 09:39, 14 October 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you for your guidance. As the uploader is User:L564 and the author is "赵家乐", I think that the file needs a OTRS permission to prove that the uploader is the author. - That is not usually needed. The name given at the author field is mostly used for credit lines, and it is OK if it does not match with the Wikimedia username. The own-work claim trumps such discrepancies. Of course, if there was no ownership claim, and there was a discrepancy, the file would need to go through OTRS. 4nn1l2 (talk) 10:01, 14 October 2018 (UTC)

Comment RTE (Irish broadcaster) credits TASS/PA Images in this article https://www.rte.ie/eile/brainstorm/2017/1107/918131-does-the-russian-revolution-have-any-relevance-today/ TASS is a Russian state news agency, and PA Images is the Press Association(which is British). - Yeah, let's them decide if the official account of the president of the Govern of the Community of Madrid is a valid "vector" for the Government of the Community of Madrid to license stuff whose rights belong to the Government of the Community of Madrid, and if the president of an organisation have a say about how and where that organisation should publish the stuff who belongs to the very organisation (or has she to ask permission to someone above her?). For me is OK enough she being the highest official in that organisation, their account (that by any means is managed "physically" by her, but their Communication Team) being verified and the photos showing for whom the photographer is working (the Community of Madrid). I did even linked the photographer's paygrade. But yep, copyright is not a black and white thing, and someone affected by copyright paranoia could say "for me it is not enough, I want an OTRS ticket from the GoCM and a copy of Sinova's contract" (BTW that would never happen, because now this woman is out of politics for good)" (did you even find these pics published somewhere else than Cifuentes' flickr account?), but, please, next time, it would be way better if you keep the patronising attitude "I'm surprised that as an Administrator you don't know that the copyright holder of a photography blablabla", "I'm just telling you what is copyright" to yourself. - These photographs were taken by a photographer working-for-hire for the Community of Madrid and these photographs were apparently first and only published in that flickr account, so it's easy figuring out Sinova (a de facto personal photographer of Cristina Cifuentes while she was in office, in fact he is still in the staff of Ángel Garrido's Government) was being paid by the Government of the Community of Madrid for (aside other things) massively illustrating this flickr account with daily photos of the presidenta.
- This account is a tool used by the former Government of the Community of Madrid to free license photos they paid for (50 000 € per year to this photographer and coordinator) and to make political propaganda (as everyone these days). A sign of that organization's consent (the copyright owner) on that pictures being released under a CC-BY license ...is its president being OK with that (through a verified account). We will get no answer if asked. She's nowadays a political corpse and the party (still leading the Government, but with Cifuentes out) is trying to get over her legacy. Cheers. Comment I do think that Strakhov has explained (and provided evidences) of the status of the photographer (**working-for-hire**). Although (as a former admin and a very old user) I do appreciate the precautionary principle, this time it seems excessive. D.Sinova is a photographer working-for-hire and the head of the organization he works for has, from her Flickr account, published under a free license. On the other hand, Patrick, and a experienced user, you're perfectly aware a {{Speedydelete}} tag here was totally unappropriate as there was a valid and reviewed license. [edit]These are claimed to be the logo of the infamous Nazi / SS "Lebensborn" organisation. The source for the SVG, File:Lebensborn.svg, is the photo of a pin, File:Lebensborn ss.jpg, uploaded by a user in 2010 with no historical explanation, context, provenance of the item etc. whatsoever. It is the only upload of this user.
What is curious about the item is that is was obviously made by someone unfamiliar with the rules of typography for the Fraktur script used. Specifically, a long s (
) is used at a place where only a regular s (
) is correct. This made me suspect the pin is a fake and some kind of Nazi fan item. I searched for a while, and in all of the contemporary images, items and articles about Lebensborn I found, I did not see this particular logo anywhere. I did find a thread about a very similar pin in some military forum here, where the conclusion is that the pin is a fantasy piece.
So my conclusion is that without any further information, we must assume this is a fake / fantasy piece. IMHO, Wikimedia Commons shouldn't spread fake Nazi emblems. The photo of the pin might be in project scope if we knew precisely what it is. Since we don't, it should be deleted.

When AFNDG downloaded the picture on 23 September, AFNDG failed to refer to the original source page (Oslo Museum: image no. OB.F05907a, via digitaltmuseum.no.) indicating cc-by-sa-4.0, instead the picture appeared to be a copy from a random web page. After being notified by Ronhjones (who rightfully tagged it under no permission), the correct link with reference to cc-by-sa-4.0 was added. - Delete - the license for the picture is indeed missing. One thing that may be a bug: {{EEK coin}} is no longer recognized as a license. @Wolf Rex: Is there a specific reason for this? Deleted: I'm more than a little disgusted that I'm protecting the copyright of a murderous Nazi but if the information on the file page is correct this document was written by en:Richard Baer who was the commander of Auschwitz from May 1944 to February 1945. If this was done before May it would be PD since the other two commanders of the camp have been dead for over 70 years. Unfortunately, Baer didn't die until 1963 and I see no way around this in German law (although I'd be happy if someone could point me to something). I believe their are other valid licenses, please check NARA and US Holocaust Museum Washington DC. This document was part of Dr, Megele SS file that was held by the U.S. "Berlin Document Center, administered by the U.S.Army Berlin Command from 1945 until the turnover of all records to the German Government in the early 2000's . In the 1980's a concerned program was begun at the Berlin Document Center to microfilm all captured SS, SA and Nazi Party documents.This program was run in conjunction with the German Government. My understanding is that copies of all these SS, SA and Nazi Party records were transferred to the United States and are now part of the National Archives. I acquired this copy when working for the U.S. Army Berlin command 1988 -1991. We were then researching a rumor that Dr. Megele had somehow faked his death. Yes he was really and thankfully dead! As part of our review we examined his SS personnel file and were able to provide documents that confirmed his various war and prewar injuries and other physical characteristics. I believe the National Archives Washington DC can confirm they are now in possession of all Berlin Document Center holding on microfilm . Also the Holocaust Museum, has copies and utilizes them daily in their work.

- Nem az számít, hogy mikor készült a kép, hanem az, hogy mikor publikálták először. Arra pedig konkrét bizonyítékot kell prezentálni, hogy valóban a megfelelő időben történt. Nem hablatyolni kell mindenféle nonszensz dologról ("a képen látható személy halála után, vagy a születése előtt készült"), hanem csak néhány dolgot megérteni végre:
- Nem a kép elkészültének a dátuma mérvadó, hanem az első publikálás dátuma.
- A publikálás tényét megfelelően alá kell támasztani, nem feltételezgetni, hogy mikor történt.

Assuming Hungarian law applies, COM:Hungary states that protection is for 25 years after publication or life + 70 if we knew who the photographer was. I'm guessing we don't have that information so we would need the publication date, or at the very least some evidence that it was published more then 25 years ago.
