- @Anglo-norman: Bonjour, dans ce cas la description de l'image est incorrecte. La date de création du tableau n'est pas le 9 avril 2017, la source n'est pas un travail personnel et l'auteur n'est pas Anglo-norman mais Gilbert Stuart (1755-1828). - This is true in general, and the most fo these self-promotional pictures should be deleted. Two of them, however, might be kept notwithstanding the person portrayed: [:File:Владислав Савіцький.jpg] as a portrait of young guy wearing Ukrainian national clothes (so called "vyshyvanka") and [:File:Савіцький Владислав Валентинович 2.jpg] as a portrait of a guy speaking at some political rally. Rampant copyright laundering, as all of the images from the same Hatena Fotolife page appear to be official promo photos widely circulating elsewhere on the web - often in higher resolution versions. No evidence that the Hatena Fotolife uploader is actually the copyright owner.

These photos has been successfully reviewed, confirmed and permitted by the Commons administrator, Daphne Lantier. And the CC license was valid and irrevocable. Enough evidence that the Hatena Fotolife uploader is actually the copyright owner, he can share it freely. 馬十仔 (talk) 04:16, 9 April 2017 (UTC)
Comment I reviewed these to ensure that they were available under a free license at the source (HatenaFotolife). If the source has been found to be engaging in license laundering, the files should of course be deleted without worrying about my reviews. Thank you DAJF for catching this. No clear indication on the source, the date, the author or the subject. The image is taken from this site which gives no source. The image is likely an adaptation from File:Barberousse par Duc.jpg - itself after File:Barbaroussa Rex Algerii Insignis Pyrata .png - with no base to ascertain the subject, Oruç or Khayr ad-din Barbaros (as claimed here), the author or the publication date. Question to @Yann: - Palm Jumeirah is an artificial landmass created based on the designs of HHPC. FOP stands ::::for the protection of copyrights for the original designs of the architect, if its a building, statue or any thing which is creatively designed. - I'm going to say Keep. I'm not sure that "landscape architecture" is really in the scope of the Berne Convention -- otherwise you could claim that any public park is no longer able to be photographed in non-FOP countries. Or anything else you add the word "architecture" to. I would rather not assume the expansion the scope of copyright unless a court gives us guidance that way. The photo is not focusing on any one work of architecture here. Furthermore, for FOP, we have generally used the law where the photograph was taken from -- if a building was made to be visible from a FOP country, even if it was located in a non-FOP country, we have kept such photos in the past (if the photo was taken from that other country). If you are making something visible from space, not sure you should be expecting to rely on FOP laws at all. As a graphic symbol... borderline -- it's pretty simple. In addition, it's not purely creative, as it does have to serve functional purposes -- the outer circle is a breakwater, and everything else must support roads and houses. Feels like this is more applied art / industrial design, the protection of which varies greatly between countries (often not being subject to copyright laws at all, but different forms of protection). The UAE does protect that in its copyright law (though with a much shorter term), but when it comes to photographs of industrial design, not sure there is nearly as much case law to indicate that such photos are an actual copyright problem, as there are with photographs of fine art or even architecture. There are many areas which you can make theoretical arguments that copyright could apply, but I would rather our deletions keep to the areas where courts have actually ruled that way. - Its not covered under Berne Convention since the origin country is not a part of the agreement and there is no agreement for Artificial land mass based on an artistic design. The landmass cannot be reffered to public parks, as parks are created from the available land within the country. The only question to be answered is that the landmass is constructed based on a design. [edit]This gallery of images is composed of images with "FBMD" in the meta, images which are smaller than facebook but not marked, images which are even smaller than that, maps, and the only unifying theme is the town where the pictures come from. It's highly unlikely that any single person took these images - especially as there are no camera meta data and the ones I checked of the right sizes had "FBMD" in meta, it's more likely they're culled from internet than own work.

Why would Kingbjelica be the copyright holder of Sabahattin Ali's signature? That seems highly unlikely. It is somewhat more likely (but far from certain) that it might be in the public domain. I have doubts with that file. It was uploaded by Zionoflion and the author in the description is Just A Ride Productions. I have searched in the web and I didn't find anything to check if the photographs has a CC BY-SA license. There isn't any place where Just A Ride Productions has uploaded this photograph.
