Unclear copyright status. Cropped from File:L.joe in NO.1 ASIA TOUR IN SEOUL DAY-1.jpg (watermark removed) which I tagged yesterday as copyvio as I was too blind to find the little BY icon at the source (scroll to the last photo, on the right) which indicates to a {{Cc-by-4.0}} license (related: COM:VPC#Images from Wasabcon II).
But we have also:
- the copyright disclaimer "Copyright (c) 2012-2014 L.JOE7D All Rights Reserved" (which was my original copyvio rationale)
- "please take out with full credit don't edit and crop my photo" (under the last photo) which contradicts additionally the above CC license (= ND). This text is available (so far as I could see) available on all subpages of http://ljoe7d.tistory.com/

I wanted to create a gallery like the one present in the article "Armenians in Russia" in the English wikipedia. All the images are, as far as I know, in Wikimedia Commons. I checked all the original images, which are all in Wikimedia Commons, and the ones in the first two rows are all marked as "Public Domain", the ones in the second row are all marked as CC BY-SA 2.0 except one which is also Public Domain. - Well, in fact that's a tricky point I haven't been able to sort out. The point here is that starting point was introduced in the 1987 IPR law. That law also established that 70 years pma was the protection period. However, the 80 years pma protection period comes from the 19th century law, which was recognized in the 1987 law for any author dead before 1987. As such, the old law does not establishes the 1st of January of the following year as starting point, so that I'm not really sure about what applies here. - Aha. I stand corrected. However, Segundo_Matilla doesn't give an exact date -- just 1937 -- and a fast look at the first few Google hits doesn't give one either. The Prado web site doesn't show him at all and the Museo Nacional site says only 1937. In the absence of an exact date of death, and uncertainty over exactly how long the copyright lasts, I suspect that we will end up using January 1, 2018 as the safest choice.. Jim . . . . - Keep The license given originally is irrevocable. The fact that someone wants to put up a smaller size is contrary to policy - we use the largest possible images. - Keep: Colorization of an old, BW picture is too simple to meet the Originality, because lacks of creativity (unlike the La Gioconda with mustache that has originality and is still copyrighted). Another good example is the Carlos Gardel colorized picture (but the Uruguay Copyright law applies).

Looks like license laundring. The source page, which does claim to be public domain, has an updated date of the same day this image was uploaded. Keep In use by other Wikimedia projects and therefore in scope. According to commons:scope, "It should be stressed that Commons does not exist to editorialise on other projects – that an image is in use on a non talk/user page is enough for it to be within scope."
