This most likely is actually the arrivals area of the Sultan Syarif Kasim II International Airport and there seemed to be misinforming and the title of the file uploader. Wrong title in image and filename. The image uploader himself wanted to speedy delete the file, cf. Special:Diff/97305198/97305395, with deletion reason “A near-duplicate of this file File:Kyrie_XI,_orbis_factor.png exists. This image has an incorrect title, whereas the other file is correct” (slightly fixed by me). This has been declined by User:INeverCry. The reasoning “This file is in use” is not true anymore, at least for the Wikimedia universe, but for safety it could actually be reverted into a redirect to File:Kyrie_XI,_orbis_factor.png instead of a real deletion. - Hello, file uploader here. So first of all I have been paid to help get a picture of LaToya Forever on Commons so it can be added to her website, I have been working with her webmaster on this. Unfortunately it was first posted with the wrong license, I gave him incomplete instructions so that's totally on me. But I have just checked the file again on Flickr and the license has been updated to CC BY-SA 2.0, so attribution and share alike which is an acceptable license for Commons right? I am sorry I caused such confusion, still not well versed in the licenses. Dear Krd, the modification of the pictures didn't work although suggested by several admins. I completely changed the file title and description, yet no success. Eventually I tried to delete the pictures from WikiCommons )the only place where they are actually listed and visible), so that these pictures would not be blocked again. But also this didn't work. The best will be to delete them. Then Ill reupload them. But what seems to be more important now: How do I give sufficient evidence that I am allowed to use the images here? There was no such column when I typed in the detail about the images. Of course I have the permission to use the pics - but how to make this clear? This file unbeknownst to me, the user Kenrick95 move this file from Indonesian Wikipedia to the Wikimedia Commons. So I ask that this file is immediately deleted from the Wikimedia Commons. - Delete. This "map" is mostly mythological. To start with, there was no place called "British Mandate of Palestine"; in 1920 there was only a draft document called "British Mandate for Palestine" that came into effect in 1923. Of the borders shown on the map, only the border with Egypt is reasonably accurate for 1920. All of the other borders were determined later. The story behind this map is quite simple: people of a particular political bent like to imagine contrary to historical fact that this whole area was "promised to the Jews" and then later stolen away from them. - Comment Although I created this map I find it a bit embarrassing now. The most glaring problem is that the south border of Transjordan is not correct. Some map that shows the two areas covered by the Mandate for Palestine while it existed (1923-1948 for Palestine, 1923-1946 for Transjordan) is needed. - Delete. (Why is this listed separately from the svg version?) This "map" is mostly mythological. To start with, there was no place called "British Mandate of Palestine"; in 1920 there was only a draft document called "British Mandate for Palestine" that came into effect in 1923. Of the borders shown on the map, only the border with Egypt is reasonably accurate for 1920. All of the other borders were determined later. The story behind this map is quite simple: people of a particular political bent like to imagine contrary to historical fact that this whole area was "promised to the Jews" and then later stolen away from them. - If you want to see how things really looked in 1920–1922, check out the Times Atlas of the World published in 1922. A guess at the vague Palestine/Syria-Lebanon border from the 1920 agreement is shown, but Transjordan is not demarcated except on the north. That's how it was at the time; pretending that the east and south boundaries existed already is a big mistake. This deceptive map should be deleted so that it won't be accidentally used in articles. [edit]These photos are derivative of architecture/sculpture/signage in France. They appear too modern to be {{PD-old-70}} and do not appear de minimis to me. France's freedom of panorama exemptions are insufficient for Commons. Some of these files may qualify for transfer to a local wikipedia. However, that there are a significant number of problematic files is, IMO uncontroversial. The new shed and garden wall along the street are nondescript and way below the threshold of originality. - I don't know what information User:Havang(nl) has access to, but assuming an average life time of 80 years and assuming that a building can be made at any time during the architect's lifetime, I'd expect that somewhere around half of all buildings from 1910 are PD-old-70. - I have no idea how to analyse this. I picked Latvia as I know this countries well enough and I found too many erors. For instance, File:Daugava river..JPG is a photo of Daugava River, surely it has something copyrightable in the background, but the focus is clearly on the river. File:Riharda Vāgnera iela 5, Rīga, LV-1.jpg is a coat of arms on an old municipal building, I fail to see what is copyrighted there. File:Le Pont de chemin de fer sur la Daugava.JPG depicts a bridge built back in 1914 (see the 1914 postcard, File:Рижские железнодор мосты через Двину открытка.jpg), thus {{PD-RusEmpire}}. - That appears to illustrate my point. They appear to be in the middle of painting decorations in the photo you just provided. The top half of that building is probably OK copyright-wise; the bottom half might be de minimis (or not), but seems to illustrate my point that the paintwork is modern and likely copyrighted. - Ellin, the user has acknowledged on their talk page on bg:w (in English via Google) that they made a mistake by uploading the reproductions, and that they actually hoped the images to be deleted, with the notable exception of the first and the last three images, i.e. the gallery interior, exterior, logo and the portrait of the woman who apparently is the gallery owner. I guess it's safe to delete (and indeed quite necessary) the rest of the files. Not sure about the logo and the paining of the owner, but I've made clear to them that the license allows rather free use even for commercial purposes and they seem to have understood it. — Luchesar • T/C/U 14:14, 14 July 2016 (UTC)
Hello, Ellin , Luchesar I admit that I made a mistake by uploading all of the images of the paintings that Art Gallery Largo displays and I hope that the images will be deleted, except the four images, which Luchesar mentioned. I understand the rules of the free license and I spoke to the owner of the gallery, Nelly Valcheva, who owns everything on these four images. She allowed me to use the images, knowing and understanding that the images can be used for other purposes by anyone, without him owing me or her anything. - I also didn't see a good reason to treat File:Nelly Valcheva.jpg differently from the other paintings, all of them being deleted. Permission from painter Lora Marinova is not provided just like in all the rest cases.
- File:Art Gallery Largo .jpg was the art gallery's logo and deleted as derivative work of non-free content. The gallery's owner definitely does not want their logo under free license here.

- Spiri, from what I can tell, some of these have been taken from the website of the gallery, e.g. [4], [5], [6], [7], but others seem to have been directly taken from various internet sites, e.g. [8], [9] (search for 'ЗА АРТИСТИТЕ'), highly suspect this one too. I work with Nelly Valcheva at the gallery, it's a family business and I am part of the family, so I can guarantee you that I spoke to her about all of this, she told me she is okay with uploading the photos I asked you not to delete. The photos of the gallery inside and out, the photo of a fragment of the portrait of the owner and the logo are Nelly Valcheva's creation. Also, the photos that I uploaded to be profile photos of the artists- they are my creation, I took all of the photos (except maybe one or two of them). I took them out of the official site and the facebook page of the gallery, because I did not have access to the gallery server, which storages all of the photos I took on exhibitions with the gallery's camera. But I will soon have access again and will upload them. If you could tell me what kind of permission from Lora Marinova you would like to recieve to let me upload the portrait of the gallery owner (I also want to squeeze in the fact that Nelly Valcheva owns this portrait and can do whatever she wants with it, including giving me permission to upload it on Wikipedia, which she did). I don't understand why you deleted the image of the logo though. I assume you would like some kind of proof that I am part of the family business and that I work at the gallery? - I'm afraid you're really mixing up different concepts: even if you've bought a painting, you don't automatically acquire the copyright, unless the painter specifically signed over their copyright to the buyer, or it was done as work for hire, or the copyright has expired (ref. here). So, unless some of these conditions are satisfied, having bought a painting doesn't entitle you to reproduce it and certainly not to re-licence it. — Luchesar • T/C/U 21:46, 15 July 2016 (UTC)

- Delete including the new images which are all copied from other sources without attribution. Copyright doesn't mean the same thing as "I own the print of the photo," it doesn't mean "I have access to some servers where I can take other people's content", it doesn't mean "I can up load anything I want because I know or am related to someone else who might maybe have no rights at all to the images on their website." I think we're seeing here a promotional series of uploads by someone who says they work at and are directly connected to the gallery and that all uploads from this uploader be removed because none of them are credibly own work. If valid COM:OTRS was received for any file, it could at that time be restored. This is a serious case where COM:PRP comes first, and everything else comes after. - The original illustration is indeed by Mary Gardiner (who of course is long dead) - however, I scanned it in and Photoshopped it and saved the JPG myself, so I saw that process as being my own work? However, I have also been in contact with Penguin Random House (who now own the copyright to all Frederick Muller titles) and asked them if I needed permission to use this image (I'm still waiting to hear back from them). I'm assuming that the problem here is because UK copyright doesn't now run out for 70 years (so technically the copyright on this doesn't run out until next year) - if I used an illustration from an older book, would that be OK? We're using this and similar pages on other projects to track outreach:TED conferences/TED speakers challenge and our success in soliciting new images of TED speakers. - Keep wow, what a particularly bitey nomination. if you do not want to organize all the TED content on commons, it will always be on wikidata, which this is a query of; but what would be your alternate method to organize the content? will you now hand categorize all these items? when you show me you can, then i might change my mind.
