It says that this montage uses File:Dprk pyongyang airport 05.jpg which was deleted as "no permission" last year, so the montage is unfree. Very annoying since all Wikipedias seem to use the image in their P'yŏngyang articles. The source is published under an Creative Commons Non-derivative license. And are they the copyright holder? The source http://carnabys.blogspot.de/2007_04_01_archive.html shows various covers, random photos of Andy Warhol, Newspaper and Magazine scans, etc. The copyright certainly not belongs to some blogger but to the original copyright holder, the blogger cant publish this under any license. Uhmm what? I have a military aviation book (translated: "Modern military aircraft" from 2010) and there is the exact same image printed but with a different copyright remark. - Keep (weak), in this case I would keep the image with the frame but would add Template:Superseded to it to point to the new version. WGA collection still have a lot of images with clearly 3D frames that should be cropped at some point. Regarding the flickr user: Thats a very slow growing flickr account with only a small number of uploads (9 uploads today). And all files published before elsewhere, very different quality, strange original filenames, etc. Always the upload to flickr is uploaded very short time later to Wikimedia Commons. I suspect that either the uploader, User:Steffaville, instructs the flickr user to upload photographs that he not owns to his flickr so that he can upload this files to Commons with a fake license. Or that User:Steffaville directly operates the flickr account under the name of a different person. This smells like flickr washing.

- While that lends itself to all sorts of twisty complications, as the article you linked notes, all other European countries were basically using the rule of the longer term -- or at least their own terms -- on any work by any other EEA member, and some of those countries had at least 70 year terms (Spain had 80 for a long time; reduced to 60 in name but most existing terms were left as-is), so the odds that it was under copyright in at least one EEA nation are virtually certain. Since the idea of those EU regulations was to unify copyright to 70pma across the board, we generally assume that is what happened. While that obituary looks to be plainly anonymous, the term in at least one such country for anonymous works would have been longer than 50 years from publication, meaning it would have been copyright in that country in 1995, meaning the British law definitely restored it effective January 1, 1996, which of course neatly coincides with the URAA date, meaning it got restored in the U.S. as well. Files uploaded by en:User:Deibid
[edit]en:User:Deibid has uploaded many bad files and many of the uploads have been deleted on en-wiki as a part of en:Wikipedia:Contributor copyright investigations/Deibid. So now I nominate all files on Commons originally uploaded by Deibid. The investigation on en-wiki showed that the files with metadata Panasonic DMC-FX3 and Canon DIGITAL IXUS 55 looks ok and most files from other cameras are copyvios. I think that all the files should be checked one by one and hereby invite others to help check. My suggestion is to keep the photos from the two cameras mentioned before (unless other evidence suggest they are copyvios) and to delete all others unless we have arguments to keep. - The suggestion was to remove some files from the deletion request and thereby keep those files unless someone said "No wait.... Let's delete the files because...". But never mind that... Lets discuss the files.
- The purpose of the DR is to make sure that all files are checked and can be discussed once and for all. The purpose is not to get all files deleted or to be rude etc.
- The problem with your uploads is that you have uploaded some dubious files and that it is still possible to find files that have been uploaded elsewhere before it was uploaded on en-wiki and Commons or in other ways look dubious. For example File:Granbilbao.jpg where you just answer "Delete it".
- If you had made a complete check of your uploads long ago and had eliminated all files that was not your own or added a correct author it would have been much better.

Generally a permission send to OTRS was expected. However the files are old uploads and OTRS did not excist back then or was not widely used. We do not know what the permission said but as it is now en:User:Deibid is listed as the author. Personally I would prefer that the true author was listed and attributed. But if the photographer gave full permission (released the file as PD or gave the rights to en:User:Deibid then I do not think that it is a MUST that original photographer is mentioned.
