- @Wcam: Did you try to contact "优酷全娱乐" to confirm the youtube account is really an official youtube account of 优酷全娱乐? If it's true, the cc-by license on the videos is true. - I did not try to contact them because based on my experience corporations like 优酷 are very unlikely to respond to requests like this. The reasons I believe this YouTube channel is fake are the following:
- The link to this channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCY7OamiZ5T7teoqpcGp9GOw/ does not match the one on the banner image, and when I try to open the link on the banner image it says that channel is closed due to violation of the term of service. My theory is that this channel in question is the second account created by the same impersonator after their first account was blocked by YouTube.
- In the descriptions of almost all the videos on this channel, it says "如果您喜歡我的我的視頻, 請盡可能分享給朋友, 真心謝謝大家的支持" (if you like my videos, please share them with your friends and I sincerely appreciate everyone's support). There are two things that are abnormal about this: a) corporations like 优酷 usually do not use languages as such in their contents, and b) this sentence is written in Traditional Chinese, whereas Youku is based in mainland China where Simplified Chinese is used.
- It is also very unlikely for corporations like 优酷 to license their video contents under a free license. On YouTube there is another 优酷 channel which I assume is official (since I have no way of verifying its authenticity), and I have not seen any video in this channel is released under CC license.

Delete Wow, the owner of this YouTube channel pulled this off incredibly well, especially considering its Youku page and 1.2 million followers. I fell for it and reviewed a majority of these. However, the evidence provided by Wcam is pretty damning. Taking into consideration Youku's Anti-Piracy statement of its content, there is considerable doubt over this channel to delete these videos under COM:PCP. ℯxplicit 02:25, 1 July 2018 (UTC)

The image is https://www.gettyimages.com/license/152447055 "Potsdamer Platz in Berlin, Germany, with the Palast Hotel on the right and the traffic light tower in the centre, circa 1930."
The OTRS ticket confirms that the user bought a license to use the image (a so-called extended, or RF, license) on their book (for either 50 or 500 thousand copies), but no transfer of copyright has been made. Getty still maintains their position that they manage the rights to that photo on behalf of the Hutton Archive.

- Delete – Josve05a has it right, I'm afraid. A license to use a image from Getty Images is not the same thing as a transfer of copyright ownership, which is what's needed to release a work under a license that is compatible with the Commons. Note that this appears to be a derivative work of the Getty Image, so while the author might be able to license book cover, we still need a proper license agreement from the owner of the underlying work (Getty Images). Rather annoyingly, material on the RCAHMW website doesn't seem to be licenced under the OGL, but under the NCGL with a non-commercial clause that makes it unsuitable for use on Commons [3]. - Delete There are two copyrights here, the copyright of the object and copyright of the photograph of it. Searching with TinEye shows that the photo was actually uploaded here first and it was years before it appears on other sites. I would actually say that we have enough rationale to consider that the photo is actually made by the uploader and that {{Own work}} was used as the substitute for {{Own photo}}. But then there is the unfortunate thing that this is not a simple utilitarian object, this is not a sofa that was designed thinking simply about the softness of its pillows and the height of its legs, the visual aesthetics were definitely the main concern here. Kept: Unlike the other two requests with the same rationale I can't believe that this is protected by any type of copyright. It is a simple lamp of a design that can be found in any hardware store across the planet. If there was copyright to this then thousands of designers would be violating it. If this was a UK piece, maybe, but I can't imagine that the Spanish copyright law has such a low threshold of originality that this would meet that bar. This lamp is neither novel nor something that did not exist before so the object does not meet the requirements presented by Racconish in that diff either. In this instance I would have to agree with Ruthven's original assessment. - I read up on both performance rights and and performer rights (related or neighboring rights). First, performing rights is defined as "the right to perform music in public. It is part of copyright law and demands payment to the music’s composer/lyricist and publisher." This does not apply here, as the clip has been muted, and would be non-free otherwise. That leaves performer rights as the closer applicable term in this instance. It defined as follows:
Under the Rome Convention (Art. 7), performers have the right to prevent:
- the broadcast or communication to the public of their performance, unless this is made from a legally published recording of the performance;
- the fixation (recording) of their performance;
- the reproduction of a recording of their performance.
The WPPT extends these rights to include the right to license:
- the distribution of recordings of their performance, for sale or other transfer of ownership (Art. 8);
- the rental of recordings of their performances, unless there is a compulsory licence scheme in operation (Art. 9);
- the "making available to the public" of their performances (Art. 10), in effect their publication on the internet.
- This is not confined to choreography. It could be Adele just standing there belting a song, so the definition is broader than what was mentioned in the undeletion request. From my understanding, and correct me if I'm wrong here, this appears unrelated to copyright. I can only really think of two situations where these rights appear to have been employed, both being Beyoncé-related: her unflattering Super Bowl photo, particularly this one, and videos of her falling down a flight of stairs during a concert.
- The definition and reach of performer rights would be a lot more restrictive if the community really deem it a copyright issue, which would call for the deletion of any type of singing performance (given that the video is muted), regardless of whether said performance includes dancing or if the singer is standing, sitting, or even laying immobile on the floor, whether it be a video or photo. This would also appear to allow for performers and record labels to request take-downs on Commons over unflattering photos. Sounds like a slippery slope to me. This does not appear to be a copyright-related issue and, personally, I'm not seeing that the conclusion here is to disallow content as in this particular upload. ℯxplicit 06:40, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
- I have no idea whether this should be deleted or not, but the Korean Copyright Law (article 64 defines performer's right as 'neighboring rights' and article 65 states 'neighboring rights shall not be construed to be related as copyright.') seem to be in a position that performer's right is NCR.
