- I am the guy who created this category today with a good reason: All these pics were until today in the main category Category:Omega Speedmaster - which was not good at all, as the normal pics of the watch itself vanished in all the space pics. As to the question if on many pics the watch is not visible as stated - I did not check all, but tend to disagree. For example, in File:Gemini 10 prime crew (Young and Collins).jpg, the left astronaut has the watch on his left arm, hence it is in the middle. Naturally, the pics are of the astronauts, not of the watch - hence, the watch is hardly visible on most images. I agree though that if the watch is not recognizable at all (Andy, can you provide an example please?) they should be removed from the category. - @MPF: It was created before the deployment of the infobox to most taxon categories - back then, Pi bot avoided any categories that used e.g., {{Taxonavigation}}, and this category was used to demonstrate that the infobox also benefited taxon categories via manually added uses. That's changed since then, so perhaps this could go, and we just use Category:Uses of Wikidata Infobox. I suggest waiting for a bit to see if anyone else has any comments, after which I can deprecate this category (needs a minor change to the infobox code, then waiting for the cache to purge). Thanks. Another unusable "nude female" collector's category. It contains multiple undefined topics in a mash-up of "cultural", "ethnic' and "religious" as though we can just throw those things in a big pile. It is a subcategory of both "nude female" and "nude or partially nude women" categories, and it is a parent category of two "nude or partially nude women" subcategories. - In “Category:Electoral districts” there were 2 maps (File:Zonas Eleitorais em SBC 2016.png + File:Zonas Eleitorais em São Paulo 2012 (2ºTurno).png) and I created the above-mentioned “Category:Electoral districts of São Paulo” for them. I appreciate your choice to move these maps to “Category:Election maps of São Paulo (state)” and “Category:Election maps of São Paulo (city)” accordingly. Unnecessary fork of Category:Bahay na Pula. Both categories are just the same — they both depict the same building [!!!]. Only difference is that the 2022 show the building in derelict condition, but a separate category is unnecessary since the mother category has only 6 image files, while this one has 28 files. - Before uploading I thought that the best Category is "Abandoned Red Haunted House in Anyatam" but I was not sure it will have a good sound effect hence ... I believe now the Bahay na Pula 2022 is a bad name, maybe my mistake (See my Discussion FBenjr123 (talk) 06:18, 10 January 2022 (UTC).
- @FBenjr123: there is no need to distinguish images just because the architecture has been partly-demolished. There were only 6 images in the original Category:Bahay na Pula category, which means your 28 new images can still be categorized there without the risk of overpopulation. Chickens are domesticated, so there's no need for a separate category for "domesticated chickens in zoos" inside the category "chickens in zoos" - the two categories are essentially synonymous. This category should probably be merged into the latter (rather than vice versa) for consistency with other chicken-related categories, most of which seem to just have "chickens" rather than "domesticated chickens" in their titles. Merge Category:Domesticated chickens in zoos into Category:Chickens in zoos as 'domesticated' is a redundancy in the name causing unnecessary duplication of categorization. If the parent category (Chickens) is renamed, the target category should also be renamed to match. In any case, merge is the first step, rename (if appropriate) of the target category follows.
