Your picture of a fresco in Saint Jakobus in Liemberg
[edit]Hi Mefusbren,
Giorgio writing. Surfing on the newest uploaded files I have stumbled on a very good picture of yours about a fresco taken in the church of Saint Jacobus in Liemberg. Firstly, thank you for sharing your work with the rest the world. And what a good work, indeed. I would like to use it for a post in my blog too and show it even to my readers: it worths. Well, observing the fresco I get curious about what it is actually painted there and, as far as I see, we have a woman, a saint, beheaded; a king or some kind of royal ordering her martyrdom and another crowned woman. Plus, an angel carrying a baby. The only saint I was able to find matching, more or less, the illustration was Catherine of Alexandria http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catherine_of_Alexandria. And about the baby I have found that in her iconography she is represented as spiritually married with Christ figured as a baby bringing a ring. But it's just my guess, a shot in the dark. I can be soundly mistaken. Do you have more precise information about that fresco? Do you know who's represented there? Or what it could be? Anyway I really thank you for your work on Commons and for your attention to my silly speculations. Sincerely.--Giorgiomonteforti (talk) 02:09, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
File:Monet - Interieur der Rue Carcel.jpg
[edit]Hello, I think File:Monet - Interieur der Rue Carcel.jpg should be nominated for deletion. As as far as I can tell, it is a lower quality version of File:Paul Gauguin 073.jpg, with erroneous painter's attribution. Please tell me if I missed something.--Zolo (talk) 14:08, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

Hallo Mefusbren69,
Please don't blank pages
[edit]Hi Mefusbren69,
Thank you for your contributions to Commons. I noticed you blanked Category:Parrkirche Wieting on Commons. I asume you meant for the page to be deleted, but blanking the page is not the right way to do this. I'd like to strongly recommend to use {{speedy| type reason here }} and add it on top of the page you would like to have deleted; This way it will be placed on a special list that administrators check regularly for deletion. Without this it might take a long time before it's noticed. Thanks again. 20:40, 29 June 2010 (UTC)–Krinkletalk

van Rysselberghe "Sitting Nude" is by different artist
[edit]The image (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Theo_van_Rysselberghe_-_Sitzender_Akt.jpeg#filehistory) purported to be "Sitzender Akt" by van Rysselberghe is misattributed. The painting is actually by Edmund Cross (see signature at upper right). Nice image.
I think this painting is by Theo van Rysselberghe , dedicated to Edmund Cross Mefusbren69 (talk) 09:38, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
Bildnis des Malers Max Oppenheimer - Where is this painting exhibited?
[edit]Hello,
Could you tell me where this painting is exhibited? Schiele - Bildnis des Malers Max Oppenheimer - 1910 Maybe it's in the book from which you copied the picture? It would help a lot.
Thank you,

Datei:Spittal - Burgplatz - Bild Muro Vechio - Valentin Oman.jpg

(Anderl in Kucsko, urheber.recht (2008) [100]).
R. erworben und zwar i. d.
--AndreasPraefcke (talk) 21:19, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hello
You stated that the Klimt sketch date for Medecine was 1887/88. Have you a source for that ? That would be 7 years before the University ordered the picture (1894).
[edit]Gentile Mefusbren69,
Grazie ancora e a presto,
