File:Nico eternidad.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.) Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Thanks for uploading Image:Nicole Natalino Torres.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the No permission since tag with on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded (:Image:Nicole Natalino Torres.jpg ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

Deleted content
[edit]
- use in any work, regardless of content
- creation of derivative works
- commercial use
- free distribution
See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons, and Commons:Image casebook for some specific examples. Some other Wikimedia projects have different licensing policies. For example, the English Wikipedia allows fair use of sounds and photographs. This is not the case on Wikimedia Commons; "fair use" materials are not acceptable here.
Please make sure that you only upload educational content you have created yourself, those which are out of copyright, or those for which you have the required permission for the work to be used in all the ways described above. Please note that derivative works of copyrighted material are also considered copyrighted. Again, please read through Commons:Licensing, which is quite crucial, to understanding how Wikimedia Commons works. Thanks for your contribution, and please do leave me a message if you have further questions.Trixt (talk) 22:28, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

You've uploaded a derivative work | We're sorry, but Image:Nico sere.JPG has been marked as a copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content, that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Photographs of copyrighted works are also subject to the same copyright, and therefore this photo must unfortunately be considered non-free. For more information, please read Commons:Derivative works and Commons:Freedom of panorama.
The file you added will soon be deleted. If you believe this image is not a derivative work, please explain why on the image description page.

Tip: Categorizing images
[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.BotMultichillT 05:59, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

File tagging File:Narea & Tapia Cumbre de Rock Chileno II.jpg
[edit]This media was probably deleted.
|
Thanks for uploading File:Narea & Tapia Cumbre de Rock Chileno II.jpg.
Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded (:File:Narea & Tapia Cumbre de Rock Chileno II.jpg ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

Copyright status: File:Benito Cerati 2012.jpg
[edit]This media may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading File:Benito Cerati 2012.jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.
If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with GFDL to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with PD-self to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.) If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there. Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you. |
No required license templates were detected at this file page. Please correct it, or if you have any questions please check my FAQ or contact me on my talk page. Yours sincerely, Jarekt (talk) 03:16, 14 January 2015 (UTC)

Flickr uploads
[edit]In your recent two Flickr uploads as a source you gave a link to a Flickr album link instead of a unique image url. Albums can sometimes be very big and the reviewing robot cannot find an image with such a link which means a human volunteer must review it. I was able to fix them but in future please provide the image page url as you will see from the edits I made for you. It just saves everyone time and effort. Thanks. Critically evaluate Flickr licenses
|
File:Jennifer Lopez Shades of Blue 25-Sep-2016.jpg has been marked as a copyright violation. You may have preserved the information shown on Flickr correctly when transferring the image here, but the Flickr uploader is not the copyright holder of this image. Either the image was created by someone else, or it is a derivative of someone else's work. As stated in Commons:Licensing, only the copyright holder may issue a license, so the one shown on Flickr is invalid.
Always remember to critically evaluate Flickr licenses. Photostreams with professional-looking photographs, album covers, posters, and images in a wide range of styles or quality taken by many different cameras often indicate that the Flickr uploader either does not understand or does not care about copyright matters. See Commons:Questionable Flickr images for a list of known bad Flickr users.

I'm not multiple accounts
[edit]- Oppose - COM:BP requires an understanding of the issue and a credible commitment to discontinue. Neither are on offer here. Block was for File:Jennifer Lopez Shades of Blue 25-Sep-2016.jpg, an obvious case of Flickrwashing after uploader had received numerous warnings about Flickr issues (and, indeed, all users are responsible for the content they upload.) Block was not for the URAA issue images, the focus of the request; the request, however, indeed demonstrates that the user does not understand the issue(s), further supporting the block. If user had actually read the nomination, or COM:L which is linked to dozens of times here (!!!), they would have observed that works must be free in both the US and country of origin. Эlcobbola talk 18:48, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
Hello! I found this photo of Jennifer Lopez, searching Flickr for images that could be reusable and modifiable. When I saw the license, I realized that I did not have the licenses to be allowed to use these photos from Flickr. Despite that, the image clearly says that it is in the public domain, when reviewing the license, this is Public Domain Mark 1.0, in which it is authorized to reuse the image and / or make modifications to it at will. What is the problem?

- The problem is that you've not bothered to read or understand a word of what's been communicated in either my comment above or the numerous warnings you've received. No one who had even glanced at COM:LL would have made this statement.
- Reviewing admin should take note of Mari900 and the revised block rationale. Эlcobbola talk 01:20, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
- We are not the same person. I am male, she is female. She is my friend. I asked her for her support with this, first, I do not manage English and secondly because she agrees with what I think. I asked for his support with this as I cannot speak as I have been blocked. They can investigate our IPs, all they want, we are not the same person. Josedm (talk)
I agree to diminish your block to original one week, but I'm afraid, that when unblocked, you start to upload copyright violations again and you will be blocked again. So for unblocking you must explain, why your uploads violated copyright and why files about John Lennon and Los Angeles Negros mentioned by you do not violate copyright. If you cannot explain the difference, then unfortunately you must remain blocked. Taivo (talk) 11:43, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
- Sorry for barely responding. The truth is that this topic is not pleasant at all, and I was tired of how tense this has been. First of all, I am a wiki administrator, I have had to deal with multi-accounts, I am not one. I understand that the cobbola interpreted it that way, but the blocking seemed unfair, first for uploading a photo of Jennifer Lopez that I specified that I did not know the correct license of the photo but it said public domain, then I was going to fill out the form they ask to consult about licenses that he does not know what it is, he was in that when he blocked me and put the photos that I uploaded to be deleted according to the law in Argentina, without being able to defend myself, I turned to my friend who lives in Mexico (I am from Chile) to who could speak on my behalf. Besides, I don't speak English, she does. Now I am communicating through a translator. I can guarantee you that we are not the same person at all. I am not multiple accounts.
Returning to the main topic. I uploaded these photographs according to the fact that they were taken and / or published in Argentina, and there it clearly says that 25 years have passed. And those three were taken in Argentina, they do not have a license, it is not even known who took it.
- File:Concierto Amnistía en Estadio Mundialista, Mendoza, Argentina 14-10-1988.jpg
- File:Jorge González Chateau Rock Cordoba Argentina 1987.jpg
It seems to me nothing was infringed. When I mentioned the photos of Los Ángeles Negros as an example, it is because it is also an old photo and it says that the source that was published is an Argentine magazine and I say that it complies perfectly. Now these photos were published in Argetina and are more than 30 years old. elcobbola says that it should also be free in the United States but what if I didn't make it free in the USA. I already asked my friend to put that it is not in the public domain in the United States.
I really don't understand and I do want to be unlocked. I will avoid uploading photos, especially those that appear on Flickr and can be reused. If I want to upload a photo I will ask to upload it, because the truth is I don't understand anything. By the way there are other photos that I deleted and I had the permission of the author and / or owner. But that I want to talk about later. Josedm (talk)
- Today would be the day I would be unlocked, but because I felt that it was an unfair lock, and I asked a friend to represent me since the administrator Эlcobbola, put to delete several photos, some of them do not violate the labels copyright, so I needed to defend that. I understand that Эlcobbola interpreted it as me but Mari990 is not me, she is my girlfriend, we live at a distance, but we have been there for 6 years and she supported me in this, apart from supporting me with English that I do not handle very well. I am going to try to avoid uploading questionable photos, or I accept the original block that was given to me but I cannot accept the block that was given to me from multiple accounts since that is a false charge, which I understand that Эlcobbola believed but should have been given the task of investigate rather than immediately assuming it was another account of mine. I am an administrator of a wiki, and I am not going to say that I am faultless, but when I make a wrong or unfair block I try to amend it. I only ask that you not give me the multi-account blocking because I am not and I am willing to check it. --Josedm (talk) 08:03, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Taivo: Hello. Almost a year ago I messaging you again more calmly, the reason I didn't before was because I got mad and didn't want to know more about this situation.
- I didn't know that uploading picture from magazines or argentinian sites published more than 20 years ago, was commiting an infraction in United States. I didn't have the intention of using pictures for Wikipedia in English. I don't understand about licenses, really.
- Being suddenly blocked, with the risk of losing the photos that I uploaded and no participating on the debate, with an anxiety attack I asked for help to a friend who's English teacher, that it was another of my problems of not being able to communicate correctly because I don't know English, I asked them to create an account to post the disclaimer of those pictures are not free in the United States and to post on the debate. Because of my anxiety I couldn't think that the administrator who blocked me would believe that I created another account, and they help me to translate my first message as a claim.
- Later, you intervened, and my friend was busy, so I commented in an anxiety state once again, I decided to use Google translator that it was a great error cause I know it isn't 100% effective, even so I used it because of my impulse. If you compare my previous message with this one, you'll see the difference, and it has a lot of grammar mistakes, however this one it has structure, my friend helped me with the translation.
- Well, I wanted to say on that time that I'd never abuse of multiple accounts because I know that it's a fault that gets a block, and I wanted to I'm administrator in a wiki ([1]) and I alreadu explained the thing of the photos.
- I insist I never created another account, no before and nor after being blocked. My friend is the North America and I'm from the South America. The reason of my permanent blocking was because multiple accounts' abuse, that isn't fair because I've never do it. My original blocking was done (long time ago).
- I ask you in the kindest way my unlocking. I pledge to be more careful with what I upload, I'll ask for advice to an administrator. --Josedm (talk) 08:17, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
- Users can be unblocked, if they recognize the problem (you already did it) and if they give a credible promise not to continue (you have not done that). So for unblocking you must explain, how to distinguish free files from unfree files. Taivo (talk) 08:54, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Taivo: Well, I want to upload 100% free material, if you want to check I have the links.

- Being blocked a week it's ok, but a permanent blocking it's frustrating and too much for something that I didn't commit. I emphasize that I'm blocked because of "multiple accounts abuse", not by uploading pictures without free license in United States. It was never proved that account presumably mine was like that, it was never investigated, even the IP wasn't check, neither asked me to show that account wasn't me but my friend's.
- I reafirm again, in the most humble and sincerely my unblocking. And anything I want to do, I'll ask first. --Josedm (talk) 07:20, 16 February 2022 (UTC)
- You have still problems with copyright. You wanted to upload https://www.flickr.com/photos/culturaargentina/20529677153/ into Commons. This is a bad idea. Please explain, what is wrong with that photo. Taivo (talk) 10:50, 16 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Taivo: Being a poster of Ministry of Culture (Ministerio de Cultura) Argentina, by the way is not too poster but a picture that was uploaded by a Flickr account of Ministerio de Cultura, and that picture is not the original one. I believe everything was ok.
- But my terms were wrong, and despite from coming from Ministerio de Cultura Argentina's account that doesn't qualify with the requirements, so I don't upload that photo in case of being unblocked. --Josedm (talk) 03:54, 17 February 2022 (UTC)

- "Abusing multiple accounts" comprises both sockpuppetry and meatpuppetry. Josedm has again and again acknowledged meatpupptry:
- The utter lack of clue to continue representing, especially with more than a year's time to investigate (!!!), that "i'd never abuse of multiple accounts" is shameless. This is to say nothing of the copyright issue, which, also after a year's time, is not understood (reconcile the belief that this and this are acceptable with COM:FOP Argentina and COM:DW). Эlcobbola talk 18:13, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Elcobbola: I didn't know those rules, I didn't know that was not permitted, but I have mentioned, I felt bad, I didn't want lose all the pictures which were eliminated. I needed help from someone who could handle with the language to communicate better, if I knew I couldn't ask for help, I'm so embarrassed to do that.
- In the face of anger and frustration of my permanent blocking, I didn't to continue, but I always wanted to come back and show that I didn't use two accounts, but I postponed because of discouragement or being afraid of something worse.
- About the photos I uploaded protecting me of the argentinian laws it was because I saw many rock articles from 80's.
- Here you can see some examples: I didn't see problems with those quoted examples, I thought everything was under control.

- Responding to the last thing, about the sculpture and reproduction of a picture, I said that I thought everything was ok because they were uploaded by the Ministerio de Cultura Argentina and as part the government there weren't troubles. Here you can see the author of the sculpture next to his artwork, next to the Minister Tristán Bauer . But after reading all of this, and despite of being from Ministerio de Cultura Argentina that is not enough, so I'll stop insisting of uploading those images, and I'll replace them with the guitar and from concerts instead.
- I ask to giving me a chance. I recognize my mistakes and errors, and I apologize because of that. I compromise to inform me better and ask for help with an administrator. --Josedm (talk) 03:52, 18 February 2022 (UTC)

--Josedm (talk) 21:43, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
