Flickr images licensed as Attribution-Noncommercial (CC-BY-NC), Attribution-No Derivative Works (CC-BY-ND), Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike (CC-BY-NC-SA), Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works (CC-BY-NC-ND), or All Rights Reserved are not acceptable for Wikimedia Commons. Flickr files uploaded to Wikimedia Commons that are not free will fail Flickr review, be tagged with {{Unfree Flickr file}}, and ultimately deleted. You may want to consider emailing the author of the image at Flickr or posting a comment on the description page of the image requesting that the license be changed to Attribution (CC-BY) or Attribution Share Alike (CC-BY-SA). It only takes a few steps but requires an account at Flickr.

Sample requests

The more persuasive the request, the better your chances are that a Flickr user will be willing to change the license. A user is more likely to do so if there is already a fairly well-written article that would benefit from having the image. Here are some sample requests you may wish to use:

The time it takes for a Flickr user to respond varies from a few days to weeks, months or years, depending on how active the user is. A user who has recently uploaded photos or commented on Flickr is more likely to respond more quickly than a user who has not been active for a long time.

Wir in der Wikipedia würden sehr gerne das Foto [BILDURL] benutzen. Im Moment ist es aber nur unter [LIZENZNAME] lizenziert (siehe rechts im Abschnitt "License" auf der Fotoseite hier in flickr). Die Einschränkung auf nicht-kommerzielle Benutzung ("nc") ist aber nicht mit den Wikipediarichtlinien kompatibel. Es wäre eine Lizenz nötig, die auch eine kommerzielle Nutzung erlaubt.

Es würde mich sehr freuen, wenn sie bereit wären die Lizenz für das Foto auf eine der beiden folgenden Lizenzen zu ändern:

Per poter essere caricata su Wikipedia, l'immagine deve avere una licenza Creative Commons libera, cioè "Creative Commons Attribuzione" oppure "Creative Commons Attribuzione - Condividi allo stesso modo". Le altre licenze non vanno bene perché vietano l'uso commerciale e/o la modifica dell'immagine, e sono quindi considerate "non libere".

Se quindi acconsenti a cederla sotto licenza libera, dovresti modificare la licenza nelle impostazioni della singola immagine o in quelle generali per tutti i tuoi caricamenti. Vedi istruzioni dettagliate ad esempio in https://it.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20130521063201AALKgdR

Una volta resa libera l'immagine in questo modo, potrò copiarla, caricarla su Wikipedia e inserirla nella voce relativa. Nella pagina dell'immagine su Wikipedia ti accrediterò come autore della fotografia, o con lo pseudonimo, o con nome cognome, o con ciò che preferisci.

Così facendo aumenterai la distribuzione e visibilità delle tue opere, e in particolare consenti a chiunque (non solo a me o agli utenti di Wikipedia) di copiare l'immagine per qualsiasi scopo, anche commerciale, rendendola inoltre liberamente modificabile, con l'unico obbligo di accreditarti come autore della fotografia. Se ti preoccupi di eventuali usi malvagi, ad esempio dalla multinazionale di turno, è consigliato usare la versione "Condividi allo stesso modo", mentre col modulo "Non commerciale" tendenzialmente danneggeresti solo coloro che non ti farebbero alcun male.
