There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful informations about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

- Dear George, thank you for your interest in my photos from the Ocala National Forest. I have changed the license and I hope this works for you. If not, please let me know. Rolfmueller (talk)
Category change
[edit]Greetings. I'm curious about this change. The image isn't geocoded, and I don't personally have any reason to believe that it's a photo inside the refuge proper (which I believe only covers the ocean side, and not the Indian River, though I could be wrong). Can you tell me why you applied this category to this image? --Gmaxwell (talk) 01:24, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, I thought it was inside the Refuge. I am trying to assemble categories of NWRs in Florida Gamweb (talk) 01:30, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, after consulting a map, I'm pretty sure its not. The image is of an unimproved lot on the west side of the river just south of SE Bridge road, (you can see the bridge in the image), that land is zoned residential and is privately owned. Be careful: Lots of refuges are named after cities, towns, etc. so you shouldn't expect every nature photo labelled "Hobe Sound" to be inside the refuge. --Gmaxwell (talk) 01:52, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
Images from Flickr
[edit]Hi, you uploaded a smaller version than the original from Flickr, please allways upload the highes resolution. I corrected this for Image:TSP Landscape01.jpg. --Martin H. (talk) 11:58, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- So sorry, I have tried in the past, but either my computer or my connection cannot seem to handle the largest images. I'll do the best I can. Gamweb (talk) 00:56, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
Florida state archives and File:DaytonaBeach n041964.jpg
[edit]Hi, I see that you've uploaded some old photos of Florida, from one of the state archives.
You may be interested in the category Category:Images from the Florida Photographic Collection and the template {{Image from the Florida Photographic Collection}} that I set up to try and simplify this task.
Sadly you might also want to read Commons:Deletion requests/Image:Henry Segrave n041938.jpg, where one of these was removed on what I consider to be bogus grounds re: a mis-interpreted copyright. I haven't poked this issue further, in the interests of the other images from this archive!
On the topic of copyright though, I think I would disagree with your tagging here. The end results are much the same (not identical, as the licence I read required a source credit, thus isn't public domain) but I don't think the justifications are really the same. These old images aren't the _work_ of Florida Gov. (and thus PD, as such images would be), but they're owned by Florida and are released to a free licence, some time after their creation.
I'd be interested in your thoughts on all this - they're useful archives and have many interesting images. I was particularly please to find File:Bluebird land speed record car 1935 rc10413.jpg, which is a celebrated English car and an iconic image, but can't be found under a usable licence anywhere in England. Andy Dingley (talk) 11:24, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
- Yes I believe I saw this same issue was already discussed by contributors directly on Wikipedia. I have been careful as to which images I upload from the State Archives. I believe any image that was created by a "State Agency" (such as the Department of Transportation) are considered Public Domain. Other images I see were donated by others to the State of Florida for use. Anything older than 75 years should be free of copyright in any event. Thank you for the link to the category. And I will search for additional images of the Bluebird for you. Perhaps I will find something else, since I live in Daytona Beach. Gamweb (talk) 23:13, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

- I have also tagged File:SJRWMD TigerBay Map.gif, File:FL DOF LakeGeorgeForest Map.gif, File:VF LGSF WildTurkeys01.jpg and File:VF LGSF Gator01.jpg for investigation for the same reasons. I see now where you came by the idea that Florida governmental works were pd and will address that template here as well. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:36, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
I put in a request to change this to Category:Government buildings in Florida. Minor change, just to keep it in line with similar categories. --Ebyabe (talk) 21:47, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Hello! I'm glad that you liked this photo. The photo it was taken in the so called "Házsongárd" cemetery, in Kolozsvár (today is Cluj-Napoca, Romania). I will mark on the description too. --Szabi237 (talk) 18:14, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
