They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content). You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki. More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). File:A Ka Xây.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

File:A Hoàng.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

File tagging File:Trang phục truyền thống người Bana.jpg
[edit]This media was probably deleted.
|
Thanks for uploading File:Trang phục truyền thống người Bana.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Trang phục truyền thống người Bana.jpg]] ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

File copyright status
[edit]Welcome to Wikimedia Commons. While everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the project, one or more of your file uploads had missing or false information regarding its source and copyright status. Please note that Wikimedia Commons takes copyright rules and infringement very seriously. Files may only be uploaded and included if their copyright status meets the conditions stated in our licensing policy, and if their provenance is clearly documented. Files that fail to meet those conditions may be deleted, and users who fail to meet them may be blocked. Please follow our first steps, if you haven't already. If you have questions, feel free to ask at the Village Pump copyright question page or on my talk page. Thank you. --Patrick Rogel (talk) 05:28, 27 March 2020 (UTC)

Copyright violations
[edit]
Hello ChinQuoc.
You have uploaded one or more files that are copyright violations. You have done so despite requests from editors not to do so, and despite their instructions. See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules by subject matter useful. This is your last warning. The next time you upload a file that violates copyright, you will be blocked. Please leave me a message if you have further questions. |

Sockpuppetry
[edit]Evading your block by creating new accounts is sockpuppetry, and it's strictly prohibited here. If you continue to escape your block, you're just going to make your case worse. It's just 7 days. I suggest using this time to carefully read and understand our policies and guidelines, especially our licensing policy (the Vietnamese translation is currently outdated and not complete, so if you can read English, I suggest reading the original version too). Use the time to reflect yourself. It would be sad to see a potential, fellow Southeast Asian contributor get blocked here. Speaking of "contributing", why not also spend the 7 days taking some pictures of the Vietnamese countryside (or whatever part of Vietnam)? I would surely love to see those pics after your block expires. Thanks, pandakekok9 05:28, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
- Your block is extended now to 3 months. :( Please stop socking and use this time to reflect. Thanks pandakekok9 08:56, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
ChinQuoc (talk) 09:07, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
It is an image of our national copyright, and I belong to that organization, and I have the right to post on the image and contribute it, but the administrators and patrols have done it wrong, so I want to be unlock, as well as obey the rules of wikipedia. ChinQuoc (talk) 09:10, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
- Then you should ask the organization to send an email to the OTRS team. Wikimedia Commons is very strict in regards to copyright, and we don't want to be swamped by copyright violation notices (known as DMCA notices in the U.S.), so we use our little volunteer time to clean this wiki every day. I hope you understand. Once the OTRS team have received and confirmed the email, they will request for the files to be undeleted. Resorting to sockpuppetry is really unnecessary here. The block by Herby was justified because you kept ignoring our policies and warnings, and the block extension by Taivo was justified too because you escaped your block instead of appealing it. So for now, please use the 3 months to have your organization send the email, reflect on your mistakes, and maybe take some photos of your country using your camera. You can appeal the block, but I recommend waiting for two full weeks without sockpuppetry before appealing. Note that you have to recognize your mistakes and give the admins a good reason why they should unblock you and not wait for the block to expire. (like "I am sorry for evading my block by creating new accounts, I promise not to do that again. And I'm sorry for continuing uploading unfree files despite being warned multiple times. If unblocked, I would like to upload my own pictures of Vietnamese food.") Thanks. pandakekok9 09:36, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
OTRS là ai, vậy làm sao để gửi hình ảnh mà ko bị xóa. ChinQuoc (talk) 09:53, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
Who is the OTRS team, so how can I send pictures without deleting it? ChinQuoc (talk) 09:55, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
- The OTRS team handles emails which confirm permissions of files. Since we need written permission from the organization itself, they are asked to send an email to the OTRS team to confirm there is indeed permission for the file to be used under the free license specified in the file. Pictures and any other attachment sent to the OTRS won't be deleted (unless they are spam of course), because OTRS doesn't require images and attachments sent to them to be free. pandakekok9 10:43, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
Vậy là có tính phí để gửi hình ảnh qua team OTRS sao, nhưng để gửi hình ảnh qua team OTRS thì phải làm thế nào. ChinQuoc (talk) 10:53, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
So there are fees already, but how to send pictures through OTRS group? ChinQuoc (talk) 10:55, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
- Your email provider should have an option for that I think (if not, use an image-hosting site like Imgur). Then send them to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org. pandakekok9 11:02, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
Gửi cho họ rồi họ làm gì? ChinQuoc (talk) 11:52, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
send them then what do they do? ChinQuoc (talk) 11:52, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
- They will review it. They may reply with questions if necessary. Should take at least a week for the permission to be confirmed (they have a backlog, so please be patient to them). pandakekok9 12:38, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
