Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.

Thanks for replying. In that case, you should have your organization submit a copyright statement to COM:OTRS indicating that they are releasing promotional photographs under a free license that allows anyone to re-publish and/or modify the images for any purpose, including commercial uses. You could help Commons by doing a couple of things:

Like I wrote above, they require verification through the steps described at COM:OTRS. Please have someone who's charged with managing content usage rights in your organization submit a copyright statement.
Since you personally don't own the images, {{self | cc-by-sa-4.0}} isn't appropriate here. Please credit the Hurricanes Organization and the photographers instead.
The photographs appear to be screenshots of Instagram posts and there's an obvious loss in quality. Since you have access to the original high-res files, please consider uploading them instead, so we have the highest quality images for use on articles and for modifications by other users.
