Summary

[edit]
Description
Eesti: Peatäi muna ehk ting (Pediculus humanus capitis) pildistatud mikroskoobi all kasutades 8x objektiivi. Pildil on eriti hästi näha, kuidas muna on tugevalt kinnitunud juuksekarvale - täide munad kinnituvad juustele spetsiaalse liimja ainega, mis muudab nende eemaldamise keeruliseks. Tänu peegelduvale valgusele on näha muna pinna iseloomulik tekstuur ja kerge sinikas-roheline helk. Pilt on tehtud musta tausta peal, mis toob esile muna struktuuri detailid. Valgustamisel on kasutatud peegelduvat valgust fotograafia välklambilt (speedlight), mis rõhutab eriti hästi muna välispinna tekstuuri ja kinnituskohta juuksekarvale. Pilt on tehtud kasutades fookuse virnastamise tehnikat (focus stacking), mis tagab suure teravussügavuse.
English: A head louse egg or nit (Pediculus humanus capitis) photographed under a microscope using an 8x objective. The image clearly shows how the egg is firmly attached to the hair shaft - louse eggs are secured to hair with a special adhesive substance, making them difficult to remove. Thanks to reflected lighting, the characteristic surface texture of the egg and its slight bluish-green iridescence are visible. The specimen was photographed against a black background, which excellently highlights the structural details of the egg. The lighting technique used was reflected light from a photographic speedlight flash, which particularly emphasizes the surface texture of the egg and its attachment point to the hair. The image was created using focus stacking technique, which ensures great depth of field throughout the subject.
