A clear case of flickrwashing. All of these images are purportedly licensed for free use by someone using the screen name "ierdnall". "ierdnall" has uploaded nearly 50,000 images to flickr. The uploaded photographs range from the early days of powered aviation to recent images of rock musicians, spanning about a century and at least three continents. Some, like the Jim Morrison image listed, are actually credited to other photographers. The flickrstream also includes hundreds if not thousands of examples of fantasy artwork, including scenes from Tolkien, book covers, works signed by other artists, and works carrying logos of various artists and businesses. It's not even remotely plausible that "ierdnall" has the authority to license any of this work, and there's no basis for believe they have authority to license any individual image. - It doesn't say January 1986, it could have been taken in December 1986. Also, where do we draw the line on don't delete because it's "almost" public domain? 4 months? 12 months? A few years? Should we keep all files because someday they all will be public domain? - Delete, as Sudanese copyright law seems closer to Common Law than to Civil Law, a style that has an extremely low threshold of originality. It's a problem that the apparently-approved {{PD-signature}} says to see Commons:When to use the PD-signature tag, but that page itself says it is merely a proposal. Commons:When to use the PD-signature tag#Common law countries includes both Precautionary Principle and that mere "skill and labor" is the minimum requirement, but has no specific details for Sudan. By en:List of national legal systems#Religious and sharia law, Sudan is "Islamic Law" and that is "considered similar to common law". Closest actual statement I can find is a en:WIPO publication "INFORMATION EETING(sic) ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY IN DATABASES" (DB/IM/2; June 30, 1997), which says at least for that area of IP, material is protected based on "its creativity or by any other personal effort", which similarly sounds like a low threshold on the actual work. I think it could not be usable in other ways. It was only used in Metrovalencia articles and now there is no reason to use it: line 10 does not exist (and never did it, it was a project) and now there are only SVG images in these articles. The image appears to be in copyright in the US; it was donated to a museum by Phillip Allen in 1950, but has not been published in the US (it has been published in Canada, where it is in the Public Domain under Canadian law). As an unpublished, unregistered work, it is copyright in the US until 70 years after Allen's death; given it was taken in 1948, this means that it is certainly under US copyright until 2018 and possibly longer. There's something very odd about this image, it appears like layers that have been cut and paste from somewhere else. Look at the person on extreme left the cuts in the face are more like mouse cuts, likewise there's a stray turban behind the fourth person from left. Answer
[edit]Disculpa Fma12, pero revisé detenidamente las fotos que fui subiendo. No las saque de cualquier lado todas las fotos son hechas por mi a exepción de File:Hector Villalba.jpg y File:PenalFinalCopaLibertadores2014.jpg , siendo estas cedidas por una página oficial del club. No creo que merezcan ser borradas las demás ni ninguna. Con respecto al bloqueo, es porque antes tomaba cualquier foto del Google y las subía a Wikipedia. Ahora ya no hago eso. Espero entiendas que no es más que una equivocación que me clasifiques todas las fotos como "robadas".

- Nicocuervo95, I never said that these photos had been stolen, just they are doubtful "own works" by you, because of the reasons given at the nomination. In fact, I do believe you took yourself the San Lorenzo vs. Arsenal pics, therefore those had not been nominated. Anyway, I'm not the one who decides if the files are going to be deleted or not, so it is an admin who determines that. Although you affirm you took all the pictures, I really doubt about it in some specific cases, p.e. File:Romagnoli vs Real Madrid.jpg, a clear copyvio taken from this website.
- In the case of File:Hector Villalba.jpg and File:PenalFinalCopaLibertadores2014.jpg, if San Lorenzo official website gave you permission to upload the photos, you' ll need an OTRS ticket, otherwise the photos will be deleted because of being considered property of the club and protected by Law. - Fma12 (talk) 18:13, 28 August 2015 (UTC)
- Fma12, es verdad, la de File:Romagnoli vs Real Madrid.jpg la saqué de un Facebook, y la busque en internet, al no encontrarla supuse que nadie la reclamaría y le hice un par de ediciones, no sabía que había una foto en verdad. En el caso de las otras fotos como en la de File:Beto Acosta.jpg, File:Julio Buffarini.jpg, File:Martín Cauteruccio.jpg entre otras más, se nota claramente que fueron realizadas por mi persona y que no fueron sacadas de ningún sitio web o de internet. Y en el caso de File:Hector Villalba.jpg y File:PenalFinalCopaLibertadores2014.jpg, no tengo la más minima idea de como hacer lo de OTRS, además de estar la pagina en inglés y no entender perfectamente el idioma. Por este motivo me dedico más a la edición de contenido de lectura más que el de imágenes.

Pelo fato de que não é mais necessário a utilização deste ficheiro em quaisquer página, pois como diz a legenda, Lali Espósito e Benjamín Amadeo "são" namorados, porém, nos dias atuais não são mais, portanto não se encontra necessário este ficheiro na Wikipédia. Occasionally graffiti will be kept, using the claim that an author might be denied any copyright relief based on an illegal act; however, there is no evidence of this legal theory being tested.
Official Commons policy is Commons:Project scope/Precautionary principle, which rejects claims such as "The copyright owner will not bother to sue or cannot afford to." or "Nobody knows who the copyright owner is".
Given that the second argument (quote) above describes that even though it will be hard for a graffiti painter to sue for copyright infringement, we should err on the side of causion.
The {{Non-free graffiti}} is just a tag, like {{NoFoP-Italy}} to warn re-users that it might not be completely ok. These tags are not magical tags you can place on an image and use as a exemption from deletion. If the image is in violation, it needs to go. Those are the rules we play by, until any legal theory regarding graffiti has been tested, and we can see some real case law examples.
Any graffiti that is not verified by some credible source to be illegal (and/or taken in a country restricting FOP) cannot be uploaded to Commons, because as a (likely) sanctioned work [or assumed to be sanctioned per COM:PRP] it becomes a derivative of non-free content.

As explained in "Body Worlds", "Von Hagens maintains copyright control over pictures of his exhibits. Visitors are not allowed to take pictures, and press photographers are required to sign agreements permitting only a single publication in a defined context, followed by a return of the copyright to Von Hagens." - As the photographer, I was given permission by the San Diego Natural History Museum to take photographs while the exhibit was in San Diego.
- They had permission from Gunther von Hagens to handle the exhibit in the ways they saw fit.
- I was not asked to sign any papers.
- The point of me taking photos was to help publicize the exhibit.
I do not understand why anyone would argue to exclude a photograph that is educational in nature and helps to publicize the Body Worlds exhibit.
- Maybe you should have Mr. von Hagens contact me and tell me himself that this photo should be excluded.
- In other words, if it is really an issue, don't you think that Mr. von Hagens would contact Wikipedia about it?
- It would indeed be sad to have the permissions granted to me suddenly reneged because somebody does "not believe that the photographer had a legitimate right to upload this image when I most certainly did."
