- So the FoP issue cleared, the question is "is this character a DW of the Tintin character?".
- Let's see if we can establish matching between the Tintin character from Hergé, and this one.
- I've asked on #wikimedia-commons “do you see Tintin or a random character with a passing similarity?” and got two opposite replies: one person sees Tintin, another one sees primarily other characters (from Family Guy for example).
- On another Wikimedia IRC channel, I've asked shown the image with a non distinctive URL, and asked who he were, Tintin were the first answer, but with a question mark. When asked to choose between "Tintin, of course" or to keep his "Tintin?", he noted the specific hair (in French « houpette ») and the nose are significant enough to allow to recognize him.
- Finally, on another non Wikimedia channel, I've asked the same way to a Belgian who reads Tintin. The answer were straightforward, "a fatter Tintin" (in French « Tintin en plus gros »)
- So it seems this it's well a derivative work.

L'exposition a été réalisée avec la collaboration de la Fondation Hergé. Il s'agit d'une installation permanente destinée à augmenter l'intérêt de la visite du château de Cheverny pour les touristes, et la présence d'images sur Wikimedia ajoute à la renommée de l'exposition. - The first one shows nothing but text and an inaccurate (compared to the one actually used in Wikipedias) logo. The font, which even has shadows, quite obviously doesn't match the real one and the arrows look like MS Office ones. There are no "U2 Schottenring" signs (at least not with 2010-corners).
