Thanks for uploading Image:Collar of the Supreme Orders of the Chrysanthemum.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:Image:Collar of the Supreme Orders of the Chrysanthemum.jpg]] ) and the above demanded information in your request. |
Note that image is eligible for copyright protections.--Trixt (talk) 13:01, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
- Please don't remove warnings without reason. This file is eligible for copyright protection, actual copyright tag is invalid. Thank you--Trixt (talk) 14:14, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Those ribbon bars are used to illustrate biografhy articles in pl-wiki. Those ribbon bars illustrate japanese decorations. I know that widely used are ONLY rosettes (for civilians). Could you show me (picture, links) the proper form of japanese ribbon bars (military or police personel decorated with the highest orders and wearing the ribbon bars). So please DO NOT delete categories attached. Mboro (talk) 08:32, 3 May 2012 (UTC)

About ribbons of Empire of Japan
[edit]Why the ribbons of the Imperial Orders must be on the category "Fictional ribbons" and not in "Ribbons of Japan"? Maybe it could be better if we create a category as "Ribbons of the Empire of Japan"? Regards--Ignasi (talk) 20:57, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
- Those type ribbon bars never have been in Japanese regulation. These are not Japanese ribbon bars, had been created by Polish Wikipedian. --uaa (talk) 15:47, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
Duplicates
[edit]Hi. Why are these, these, these, and these duplicates? — Jeff G. ツ 12:23, 16 May 2017 (UTC)
- Initially, each of these ribbon bars was uploaded incorrectly. All of these ribbon bars should be the same design. However, these ribbon bars have already been linked to huge amounts of articles. Therefore, it duplicated it without any help.--uaa (talk) 20:56, 16 May 2017 (UTC)
