Dear Siliconov,
You have uploaded multiple non-free images under invalid licences, which is a sign that you have not understood our licencing policy. Uploading files that have to be deleted creates a lot of work for other users, therefore you have been blocked indefinitely.
This is not a sanction, only a way to prevent you from doing something harmful. The block will be lifted on your request, provided you give a written statement that you have read, understood and accepted our copyright policies.
You are still able to edit your talk page. If you don't speak English, please contact an administrator who speaks your language.
Thank you for your understanding.

- Hello! All this situation with my blocking is a misunderstanding, I guess. I am familiarized with all the Copyright policies on the Wikimedia Commons, but the situation with this particular image was something unexpected. The thing is that I had to re-upload the image and it seems that the license I have indicated the first time had been lost when I re-uploaded the image. Now I ask you, please, let me indicate the license once again and so I can continue contributing to Wikimedia commons. Let me assure you that the image does not violate any copyright laws and I possess all the rights for this image. Thanks for understanding! Sil 08:58, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
- Dear Rama! I'd really like to contact you otherwise than my talk page (as is it written in the 'you are blocked by user Rama' message), but it seems like I can't leave any message on any other talk pages than mine. So I'd like to ask you once again to review your decision of me being blocked, but I have doubts on how you will see these messages, as I doubt you've marked my page for watching. Thanks for understanding! Again. Sil 15:26, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hello !
- In addition to writing on this talkpage, you can always write me an e-mail if I appear to have missed a message in you talk page, as happened in this case.
- User:Bastique has unblocked you in between, according to the OTRS request, so you should now be able to upload images and edit any page of Commons ; do not hesitate to contact me if you encounter a problem. Sorry for the trouble, and thank you for your kind understanding. Good continuation ! Rama 09:09, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- PS: The licence you gave was {{PD-self}}. Be advised that your image was both of professional quality (lightening, white background) and small resolution (369×600, without EXIF tags), which induced us into thinking that it had been taken on a commercial web site. To avoid such misunderstanding, it can be useful to provide the EXIF, or a large resolution file. Cheers ! Rama 09:15, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for understanding Rama! Next time I will be more attentive with licensing. Sil 07:24, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
Image deletion warning | Image:G-spot-vibrator-2.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry. If you created this image, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. If the file is up for deletion because it has been superseded by a superior derivative of your work, consider the notion that although the file may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new file. |

File tagging File:Bch.jpg
[edit]This media was probably deleted.
|
Thanks for uploading File:Bch.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Bch.jpg]] ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

File source is not properly indicated: File:Egg&bullet-vibrator.jpg
[edit]This media was probably deleted. |
A file that you have uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, File:Egg&bullet-vibrator.jpg, was missing information about where it comes from or who created it, which is needed to verify its copyright status. The file probably has been deleted. If you've got all required information, request undeletion providing this information and the link to the concerned file (
[[:File:Egg&bullet-vibrator.jpg]] ).
If you created the content yourself, enter If someone else created the content, or if it is based on someone else's work, the source should be the address to the web page where you found it, the name and ISBN of the book you scanned it from, or similar. You should also name the author, provide verifiable information to show that the content is in the public domain or has been published under a free license by its author, and add an appropriate template identifying the public domain or licensing status, if you have not already done so. Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Please add the required information for this and other files you have uploaded before adding more files. If you need assistance, please ask at the help desk. Thank you! |
