This image was initially uploaded by Colby Sharp to Flickr at https://flickr.com/photos/61421932@N08/14048518715. File was uploaded on April 28, 2014, and is licensed by the author under the terms of cc-by-2.0.
So, the publication https://www.shine.cn/archive/world/2018-Grammy-Awards-returning-to-NYC-beyond14-years-in-LA/shdaily.shtml at May 9, 2017 can not serve as a reason for removal.

Hi SaltVisor,
I've received your email. But let's discuss this here.
The alleged source, https://www.flickr.com/photos/61421932@N08/14048518715, only states "taken" on April 28, 2014. I see no information when the image was actually uploaded to Flickr. Regrettably, archive.org also hasn't captured this URL[1]. However, a Google-Images search[2] found a higher-resolution version, published on January 26th, 2014 at [3], another one, published on February 11th, 2013 at [4] and another one, published as early as December 12th, 2011 [5]. So, overall, there is some doubt that this image is really the wqork of the Flickr-user.
File:Michel Petrucciani North Sea Jazz 1993.jpg is more easy. On its Flickr-source it is licensed under CC-BY-NC license. NC- & ND-restrictions are not allowd on Commons/Wikipedia; see COM:L for details.
Finally the first of the above listed images simply had no permission/license at all. To the contrary, its source states "© 2012 Betts Family. All images, graphics and text on this site are protected by applicable copyright law as of 2011. If you use any image, graphic or text from KeterBetts.com without express authorization of the owners of said material, you will be prosecuted under any and all relevant laws." --Túrelio (talk) 08:20, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Túrelio
Many thanks for your help and for taking the time.
Concerning the File:Keter Betts.jpg and File:Michel Petrucciani North Sea Jazz 1993.jpg my mistakes are understandable.
And about File:Grammy Award.jpg: solution may be as little trust to "authors" as possible, because any doubts are interpreted against the accused :)
Thank you once again --SaltVisor (talk) 06:30, 25 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Wrt File:Grammy Award.jpg: it's just a weighing up. I do not claim to have proven anything. We volunteer-sysops simply don't have enough time for an in-depth research of each "suspicious" image. In such a situation you better err on the good side. --Túrelio (talk) 07:42, 25 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

File:Clarence Williams.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
