This blocked user asked to be unblocked, and one or more administrators has reviewed and granted this request.

Request reason: "I noticed that I was blocked recently for uploading duplicate files. First off, I would like to apologize for the 52 duplicates. Since me and user Ooligan uploaded the files at roughly around the same time, I did not know or have time to check whether or not they were on Wikimedia Commons. I believe the images from the Chairman of the Joints Chief of Staff were roughly a minute apart and the images from 10 Downing Street were roughly 5 minutes apart. I don't think that is adequate time to check. If I saw that they were on commons, I wouldn't have uploaded them. As for the ambiguous names user Ooligan suggest, many users upload from Flickr2Commons. However, since Flickr2Commons doesn't understand duplicates in albums, I keep the names as they are to avoid confusion. I humbly request to unblock my account. I have enjoyed uploading to Wikimedia commons since 2017. It is something that brings me fun and excitement when I get to upload from government websites whether on Flickr or their websites. Once again, I am sorry about the duplicates. It would have been hard to check whether or not if they were on Commons when we were both uploading at the same time. I have made many mistakes before and I apologize for that. All I can promise is trying to do better in the future. Thank you for your time and patience. I didn't notice they were on Wikimedia given me and user Ooligan uploaded them at roughly the same time. I acknowledge I may make mistakes in the future, but I will try to do better. Thank you. Tips

When using F2C, you may try to use the function of "Flickr user ID or name", along with other parameters to better search for duplicate. This function can better search for duplicate that has a different filename, though it still cannot search for so recent duplicate like uploads within a few minutes. That's an unfortunate situation. Thank you for the advice and I will make sure to use that function. So far, the big problem has been mass uploading from albums. When uploading from Flickr albums, F2C doesn't recognize files already uploaded. For Flickr albums with more than 50 images, it is just significantly easier to upload them from F2C.
