Thanks for uploading File:Kaserne Belvedere in der Emsmannstraße (später Eduard-Adler-Straße 10) (Kiel 112.983).jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. How to ask for speedy-delete of an empty category

[edit]

When you want to ask for speedy-delete of an empty category, best practice is to mark it with {{SD|C2}} if it would be OK to re-create it in the future, given that appropriate content becomes available or {{SD|C1}} if it is an inappropriate category name that should not be reused. In particular, this is better practice than just blanking the category page, as you did at Category:Lotsenbrüderschaft Nord-Ostsee-Kanal II / Kiel / Lübeck/ Flensburg. ("C1" and "C2" come from Commons:Criteria for speedy deletion). Jmabel ! talk 02:20, 18 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

What is your intent with Category:Kulturministerium Schleswig-Holstein? You created a category with no parent, a nowiki'd name of another category, and no files or subcats in the category. Should it just be deleted? - Jmabel ! talk 03:54, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much, I made a misspelling and forgot that the category Kulturministerium (instead Kultusministerium) would be deleted. Yes, please, delete it!

Urbahns x2

[edit]

Hallo RStehn,

Gruß --Rosenzweig τ 09:37, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Moin!

("C1" and "C2" come from Commons:Criteria for speedy deletion). Jmabel ! talk 06:08, 5 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

And, similarly again for Category:St.-Jürgen-Kirche (Kiel). I happen to have come across it pretty quickly, but we shouldn't be relying on that. - Jmabel ! talk 04:27, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Only in the case of spelling mistakes in the category title SD|C1 (improperly named category, example "St.-Jürgen-Kurche (Kiel)"); otherwise SD|C2 only in the case of category titles that lead to misunderstandings or require clarification, right?
Example: Pictures of a St. Jürgen Church and the St. Jürgen Chapel in Kiel should be sorted into three new categories: Category:St.-Jürgen-Kapelle (Kiel) and Category:St.-Jürgen- Kirche Kiel (1906) (initially both sorted in Category:St.-Jürgen-Kirche (Kiel)), and Category:St.-Jürgen-Kirche Kiel (1956) (initially sorted in main Category:St. Jürgen (Kiel)) Regards RStehn (talk) 06:36, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't see this till now (I don't have your user page on my watchlist, and you didn't ping me). C1 would also apply (for example) to singular names that should be plural, just plain nonsense names, and other "very wrong" names or bad category concepts ("Category:Old buildings in cities", "Category:Cars by name", "Category:Pretty women", etc.). - Jmabel ! talk 23:35, 30 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wochenmarkt/Straßenmarkt

[edit]

Hallo!

Was meinst du? --XRay 💬 10:15, 16 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
--XRay 💬 10:19, 16 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo, du hast diese Kategorie bei Category:Beaches of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on the Baltic coast eingeordnet.

RStehn (talk) 14:16, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't blank pages

[edit]

Hi RStehn,
Thank you for your contributions to Commons. I noticed you blanked a page on Commons. If you meant for the page to be deleted, blanking the page is not the right way to do this. A simple real-world comparison to illustrate: You removed the entire text of a page from a thick folder, but the then empty, useless page itself remained in the folder.

Please use {{speedy| type reason here }} and add it on top of the page you would like to have deleted; This way it will be placed on a special list that administrators check regularly for deletion. Without this it might take a long time before it's noticed.

For redirects use #REDIRECT[[Target]] or {{category redirect|Targetcategoryname}}. For more information please read Blanking. Thanks again. Jonteemil (talk) 20:36, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo Jonteemil! Tut mir leid, mein Fehler!

"Historical images" categories

[edit]

Please see Commons:Categories for discussion/2019/09/Category:Historical images. No worries. It's kind of obscure and people are still creating the categories. So it's not a super big deal. The main thing is just that get cleaned up going forward. --Adamant1 (talk) 10:54, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Kornkammer (Burg Stolpen)

[edit]

Hallo RStehn,

RStehn (talk) 14:35, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:Gustav Ferdinand Thaulow (J. M. Graack, 1861).jpg.

If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

Bitte bleiben lassen

[edit]

Hallo RStehn,

lass so etwas bitte bleiben.

Moin Rosenzweig!

Moin Rosenzweig!
Selbst irreführend geschrieben, was ich sagen wollte:
