Pay attention to copyright

Image:BGN5obv.gif has been marked as a copyright violation. The Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content, that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You can ask questions about Commons policies in Commons:Help desk. The file you added will soon be deleted. If you believe this image is not a copyright violation, please explain why on the image description page.

Specifically, the license the image (and all content from http://www.bnb.bg/) is under does not permit derivative works (see [1], "Browsing in the BNB web-site you are granted permission to create links to the site, save files, distribute and reproduce pages – provided the source is stated and the material is not altered or distorted." Well, as you can see here, the images are copyright violations. This allows them (me) to delete them on the spot, with or without you being notified. There is nothing you could do to save these images. They should not have ever been uploaded as far as I can tell. If you can provide information otherwise, please do. They can be restored as quickly as they were deleted, saving your work. MECU≈talk 15:58, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed

Hello,

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.

Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Preslav. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Preslav~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.

Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.

Notification about possible deletion

Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry. If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
