Summary
[edit]Hoj Ondro. Mám takovou malou připomínku k vyplňování popisu u obrázků. Jelikož je Commons mezinárodní úložiště, tak není vhodné vyplňovat popis česky. Doporučuju používat následující šablonu (Permission není třeba vyplňovat):

- Hoj Jirko.

Tip: Categorizing images
[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.BotMultichillT 06:04, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

The factual accuracy of the chemical structure Image:Edta.JPG is disputed
[edit]Dispute notification | The chemical structure Image:Edta.JPG you uploaded has been tagged as disputed and is now listed in Category:Disputed chemical diagrams. Images in this category are deleted after one month if there is no upload of a corrected version and if there is no objection from the uploader or other users. Please discuss on the image talk page if you feel that the dispute is inappropriate. If you agree with the dispute, you can either upload a corrected version or simply allow the image to be deleted.
In all cases, please do not take the dispute personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you! --Ephemeronium (talk) 14:11, 6 April 2010 (UTC) |

Hi Ondřej Mangl. Do you know which form of nickel(II) bromide File:Bromid nikelnatý.PNG is? I would guess it's one of the hydrates, but which one? --Leyo 10:51, 22 October 2015 (UTC)
- Hi Leyo. I'm sorry, I haven't been on Wikipedia Commons since November 2011 and I also don't have enough time for editing articles and photos, I've created. This compound is definitely a hydrate, but I can¨t precisely say which one. Most common are hexa- and octahydrates, so it could be one of them, but I'm not 100 % sure about it. I prepared this compound simply by mixing of solid NiCO3 with aqueous solution of HBr and evaporation of formed water solution. This is all, I can say and I hope I helped you a little. Have a nice day. -- Ondřej Mangl (talk) 17:33, 22 October 2015 (UTC)
- Hi Ondřej. Thanks for the pictures. For the question above I'm wondering if there is mismatch in the labeling, because all sources say the bromid is green, but iodid is blue-green. So if the pictues Jodid nikelnatý and Bromid nikelnatý are exchanged, it would fit. Is this possible ? Rjh (talk) 18:47, 30 October 2015 (UTC)

- Hi Rjh and Leyo thanks for warning about continuing discussion. Labels of pictures shoud be right, but I can't say it to 100 % after 8 years from taking pictures. Different colors may be caused by different light in the picture, because I had only basic camera and I didn't edit photos in any program. And there is still a chance I could replace beakers with water solutions of compounds. The best way to find the truth is repeat experiment and take photos again. Unfortunately I don't have any access to chemicals now and I coundn't try to prepare compounds again. If there is someone, who can, please try to contact him or her and we will see, if I made a mistake, or there is mistake in the literature or only small problems with coloration.
