[edit]Hi. Thank you for images of cruise ships, I like it. Can you please add some images of the 1982 Ocean Dream as the Tropicale, the Costa Tropicale, and the Pacific Star, and a image of the Federico C Please! Thanks.
Thanks, Angelgreat (talk) 18:39, 26 January 2016 (CST)
- Hi,
I’m really sorry to answer you so late, i’d been very busy these last weeks. I’m not the owner of these photos of ships, i’ve upload them here with the authorization of their respective owners from an english website, Shipspotting.com. Maybe you could check there if you find some photos and send a mail to the photographs to know if they accept to let you upload some of their photos on Wikimedia Commons...
Sorry to can’t help you more.
Good evening. --Lev. Anthony (talk) 20:00, 2 March 2016 (UTC)

Trackless train categories
[edit]Hello, Lev. Anthony. I noticed the new categories you created for trackless trains in France. I wanted to point out a couple of things about these.
- Some of the categories are in Category:Categories of France by region. However, at the begining of this year, the regions of France were redefined. Some of the categories you put into the region category are no longer regions. When you create "by region" categories for France, please use the new regions.
- You put the metacat template on the categories, but a category with a name like "Trackless trains in <place>" is not a metacategory. A metacategory groups things together by a common attribute, and the attribute is specified in the name of the category. An example of this is Category:Trackless trains in France by region, which is a metacategory: it contains subcategories for individual regions, and it has "by region" in its name.
I'm going to clean these up. Please take these things into account if you create any new categories. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 21:29, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
- Hello,
- I’ve just saw your message... Thanks for your remarks about my classification. To answer them:
- I know the French regions had been redefined, but i didn’t succeed to find a pane with the new regions, so i believe i had to use the previous. I’ve change for the Rhône-Alpes and i’ll change the others regions.
- For the metacategory, i’d to recognize that i don’t know how it work. I’ve created the category for trackess trains with another model and i’ve forgot to check the conditions to said a category is a metacategory.
- Thank you for your message and for your help.
- Good evening. --Lev. Anthony (talk) 21:41, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply. I'm moving it here. Normally, replies should be on the same page as the original message, so that the entire conversation stays together.
- There is a temporary template for the new regions. It is at Template:Regions of France/sandbox. It has both the old regions and the new ones. You can use that one for now. I don't know when it will be moved to the standard name.
- Since you said you will change the categories, I will stop working on them for now. Let me know if you'd like help with them. If you reply here, I will see your message.--Auntof6 (talk) 21:46, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
- Hi,
- I always answer on the page of the expeditor with a copy of his message to inform him of my answer, it’s an habitude.
- Thank you for the template. I think it’ll stay like that until names will be fixed (the names are temporary until July 1, 2016 if i remember well).
- Just a question. I’ve saw you’ve deleted the template in this category. Does it’s voluntary?
- Good evening. --Lev. Anthony (talk) 22:06, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, I don't understand your question about deleting the template in that category. I speak some French, so if you'd like to ask it in French, I might be able to understand it. --Auntof6 (talk) 23:44, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
- Bonsoir,
--Lev. Anthony (talk) 20:24, 19 May 2016 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, I didn't remember doing that. I will put them back. --Auntof6 (talk) 22:27, 19 May 2016 (UTC)

Dldwg (talk) 20:42, 21 November 2017 (UTC)
== Tri des photos ==
Salut,
Cordialement, Dldwg (talk) 22:07, 21 November 2017 (UTC)
Re,
Bonne continuation, Dldwg (talk) 00:37, 22 November 2017 (UTC)

Round 2 of Picture of the Year 2018 is open!
[edit]Dear Lev. Anthony,
You are receiving this message because we noticed that you voted in R1 of the 2018 Picture of the Year contest, but not yet in the second round. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2018) to produce a single Picture of the Year.
Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.
There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked.
In the final (and current) round, you may vote for a maximum of three images. The image with the most votes will become the Picture of the Year 2018.
Round 2 will end 17 March 2019, 23:59:59.
Thanks,

Important message for file movers
[edit]A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect
user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.
Possible acceptable uses of this ability:
- To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
- To perform file name swaps.
- When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)
Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.
The malicious or reckless breaking of file links via the suppressredirect
user right is considered an abuse of the file mover right and is grounds for immediate revocation of that right. This message serves as both a notice that you have this right and as an official warning. Questions regarding this right should be directed to administrators. --Majora (talk) 21:36, 7 November 2019 (UTC)

A file that you have uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, File:Allinges - 74200 - 2024.09.07 - Mémorial aux victimes de l’accident d’Allinges (photos des victimes) © Anthony Levrot.jpg, is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such works would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a map that has been altered from the original. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.
While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. Please edit the file description and add the missing information, or the file may be deleted. If you created the original content yourself, enter this information as the source. If someone else created the content, the source should be the address to the web page where you found it, the name and ISBN of the book you scanned it from, or similar. You should also name the author, provide verifiable information to show that the content is in the public domain or has been published under a free license by its author, and add an appropriate template identifying the public domain or licensing status, if you have not already done so. Please add the required information for this and other files you have uploaded before adding more files. If you need assistance, please ask at the help desk. Thank you! |
