Nagasawa Kanaye photo 2

I think this photo is in his 40s or 50s. He was born in 1852, so that would be between 1892-1902. On this website it says "Museum of Sonoma County". On this website it says "courtesy of Byck Family". - Artanisen (talk) 20:44, 7 December 2022 (UTC)

Uesugi Kenshin Portrait

Hi Jeff G., I have a question about this portrait of Uesugi Kenshin. There's a low quality version on Wiki Commons. There's a high quality version on the website of the Uesugi Shrine (Uesugi Jinja). The text below says "*Unauthorized use of images is prohibited", but I think it was made in the Edo period so it should be allowed right? I also found this artwork of Kenshin. supporting ukraine

if i supporting putin i may be banned, but you are supporting ukraine with the items on your user page. how it is not punishable? because it is literally forum rule breaking, i think(maybe not).

first things first; sir, i dont mind if you supporting or not. but i saw many people with pro-ukraine user pages on projects, BUT didnt(or cant) see anyone who support putin or russia with their userpages?

@Modern primat: We have no rule against it in theory, but please understand that this whole project, foundation, and movement is about freedom, and Putin seems not to be.
