- If you want to talk to me, you should either email me or leave a message on my English Wikipedia talk page.
- "Met", as in "met in real life" (I haven't), or "met online" (I might've, but I don't recall)? And why would it matter, anyway? I dream of horses (talk) 03:44, 9 June 2018 (UTC) (added words at 03:44, 9 June 2018 (UTC))

[edit]Thanks for the message re permissions. I thought I had done this during the upload but no matter - I have sent the appropriate email and added the {{subst:0P}} tag. Friendly regards, Springnuts (talk) 17:18, 9 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Springnuts: I figured it was an issue of forgetting. Happens to the best of us. --I dream of horses (talk) 18:29, 9 November 2020 (UTC)
No permission
[edit]Please be more careful with your "no permission" tagging; I see that a significant proportion of them from the last few days are not correct. Examples:
- File:Lushan Botanical Garden 01.JPG: There is no reason to think that this was not photographed by the uploader. If you think the text they added in the Permission section makes the license non-free, then that is a reason to start a DR, not tag as "no permission". (Based on my understanding of the CC-BY-SA 3.0, any such restrictions are invalid: "This License constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the Work licensed here. There are no understandings, agreements or representations with respect to the Work not specified here." But even if that were not the case, it's still not a reason to tag as "no permission". The purpose of "no permission" is to say "the license is good, but we don't know if the copyright holder actually gave the license", rather than "the license is no good".)
- File:Anouche Kunth 2020.jpg: Even though the resolution is low, it has EXIF from a smartphone and was claimed as "own work" by a user who has been here since 2005. I do not see any uploads where he applied "own work" incorrectly, so we should assume good faith.
- File:Paloma Chen - València - 04.jpg: Don't immediately tag as "no permission" just because the name of the author does not match the username, and especially not if it is piped: [[User:TaronjaSatsuma|Francesc Fort]]. You should do some basic digging through their userpage, recent edits, and other uploads to see if it is reasonable to conclude that the two names refer to the same person. Only tag if you cannot find a likely link between the two names.

FDV photo
[edit]Hi, recently you have tagged tagged the picture "File:FDV-31221-3.jpg" as "no permission". I've removed it because, as it has been pointed out to you before by other user: "There is no reason to think that this was not photographed by the uploader". The user seems to much his description and Wikipedia article. It seems that to suggest this user isn't him, after all their contributions and time, would be a great identity theft.
