Thanks for uploading File:Dharmalogo.svg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the No permission since tag with on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded (:File:Dharmalogo.svg ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

File:Tagmar_Logo.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.) Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Re:Public Domain Super
Já andei averiguando sobre ele e as contribuições também. Não posso julgá-lo pelo o que ele fez na Wiki-es. Aqui é outra coisa. Mas ficarei atento. Qualquer coisa pode me comunicar.
Seria bom perguntar no Village Pump. Todos os usuários e administradores passam por lá. Com certeza irão te ajudar. Mizunoryu (talk) 04:16, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

Agora tá funfando. Acho que o arquivo deu algum erro quando vc fez o download dele. De qualquer forma, você pode tentar dar um purge no arquivo para ele atualizar. É uma guia que fica perto de edições, vc pode disponibizá-la nas suas preferências, gadgets, Interface modifications, Add a "*" tab to the top of the page which lets you purge the cache of the page. Tip: Categorizing images
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.CategorizationBot (talk) 10:43, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

Critically evaluate Flickr licenses
|
File:Street famiclone.jpg has been marked as a copyright violation. You may have preserved the information shown on Flickr correctly when transferring the image here, but the Flickr uploader is not the copyright holder of this image. Either the image was created by someone else, or it is a derivative of someone else's work. As stated in Commons:Licensing, only the copyright holder may issue a license, so the one shown on Flickr is invalid.
Always remember to critically evaluate Flickr licenses. Photostreams with professional-looking photographs, album covers, posters, and images in a wide range of styles or quality taken by many different cameras often indicate that the Flickr uploader either does not understand or does not care about copyright matters. See Commons:Questionable Flickr images for a list of known bad Flickr users.

Free license vs. public domain
On your recent uploads you state: The author of this file, C-Chan, has given me permission to upload this file into the public domain under the GNU Licence which doesn't make sense because it can't be both. Public domain means there's no copyright and a (free) license, such as GFDL or GPL, means there is a copyright. Rocket000 (talk) 04:35, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
Files you uploaded may be deleted
The files listed below, which you uploaded, have been tagged OTRS pending for more than 30 days. This tag indicates that an email setting out permission to use the file was sent to the OTRS team. Unfortunately, we cannot find any record that such an email has been received, and accordingly the file remains without permission. Unless the OTRS team receives evidence that permission has been granted within 15 days of today's date, the file will be deleted. If you have not sent the permission, please send it to "permissions-commonswikimedia.org" now. Please quote the file name in your email. If you have, please leave a message at the OTRS noticeboard, quoting the file name, so that a volunteer can follow this up. Alternatively, you can contact an OTRS volunteer directly. Please note that this message is being left by an automated bot, whose operator is not an OTRS volunteer, therefore please do not send this information to me, as it will not save your images from deletion. Screentone manga drawing
Hi, Hyju. I noticed your request for a screentone version of File:Manga grayscale.svg at Commons talk:Graphic Lab back in May. You might've gotten a faster response if you'd posted the request on the right page, but since I did spot it eventually, here you go. Have a nice day! (Ps. It seems the SVG renderer here fails to draw the screentone at small sizes; 140px seems to be about the smallest size that works. I'll see if I can fix that somehow, but if nothing else helps, you could always upload a largish PNG version and use that.) —Ilmari Karonen (talk) 19:45, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
- I got the rendering fixed now. Inkscape was doing something really weird with the textures, so I cleaned the code up by hand a bit. —Ilmari Karonen (talk) 20:26, 1 November 2010 (UTC)

Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded (:File:Tomorrows memoir-prequel comic.jpg ) and the above demanded information in your request. |
