Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Ciao, lì bisogna fare il confronto con l'originale e controllare che quest'ultimo non fosse appunto registrato come marchio. Se è una libera reinterpretazione, come accade per gli stemmi delle città, secondo me dovrebbe essere possibile tenerlo - va solo chiarito che appunto si tratta di una reinterpretazione e non dell'immagine originale. Ciao. Dalle discussioni che ho letto in giro non sembra essere ritenuto un problema la presenza dei quasi microscopici loghi sulle maglie, anche se copyrighted. Sono troppo piccoli, pare ricadono nel COM:De minimis. Comunque non ti so dire niente di certo. Per it.wiki dovrebbero valere le stesse regole, visto che sono norme del copyright. La mia personale opinione e' che se sono talmente piccoli da non costituire un problema per il copyright sono anche troppo piccoli per costituire un'informazione grafica valida, e quindi, per logica conseguenza, non sono da mettere.--Trixt (talk) 21:06, 9 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ciao Delfort, ho visto che hai eliminato l'immagine di Massimo Cherubini (giornalista). Ho seguito le procedure previste per il rilascio dei diritti d'autore, da alcune settimane sono in attesa di ricevere il codice OTRS dal team di permissions-it@wikimedia.org per effettuare l'upload dell'immagine. Puoi indicarmi in cosa ho sbagliato e quale procedura seguire? Grazie anticipatamente per l'aiuto (è la prima volta che provo a caricare un'immagine!)

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2013 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2013) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. The top 30 overall and the most popular image in each category have continued to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just one image to become the Picture of the Year.

The 2013 Picture of the Year competition has ended and we are pleased to announce the results: We shattered participation records this year — more people voted in Picture of the Year 2013 than ever before. In both rounds, 4070 different people voted for their favorite images. Additionally, there were more image candidates (featured pictures) in the contest than ever before (962 images total).

In the first round, 2852 people voted for all 962 files
In the second round, 2919 people voted for the 50 finalists (the top 30 overall and top 2 in each category)

We congratulate the winners of the contest and thank them for creating these beautiful images and sharing them as freely licensed content:

157 people voted for the winner, an image of a lightbulb with the tungsten filament smoking and burning.

Ciao Delfort, di recente mi sono stati cancellati due stemmi della FIGC. Li avevo ricostruiti in vettoriale in quanto richiesti sul Laboratorio Immagini da Vettorializzare ( c'è da dire che già esistevano in formato png, non ci sono più neanche quelli). Per mia ignoranza mi sono attribuito la paternità dei suddetti. Io ho una buona conoscenza di grafica ma per quello che riguarda i copyrigh, no purtroppo. Qualora volessi reinserire in maniera corretta i due Loghi della FIGC come devo fare? come posso risalire alle giuste licenze d'uso? Ari-ciao Delfort, sono andato a vedere sul sito di EUIPO (Ufficio dell'Unione Europea per la Propietà Intellettuale) esistono i loghi FIGC del 2016 e 2017 e hanno una registrazione con il numero del marchio, mentre per quanto riguarda i loghi FIGC-1992 e FIGC-2006 non esistono più e non hanno una registrazione ne un numero del marchio.
