В те, которые допускают fair use, можно. Обоснование - использование фотографии для иллюстрации статьи о политическом деятеле или Абхазии; свободного аналога пока нет. Закон Грузии об авторских правах это допускает (статья 23.а). Только не забудь сослаться на источник :-).

Кстати, не забывай удалять {{No license}}, когда добавляешь лицензию. Для собственных работ лучше использовать {{self|cc-by-sa-2.5}}.

И ещё - не мог бы ты добавить координаты к своим фотографиям? Что из этого получается - можно узнать на Commons:Geocoding :-)

Перепись Абхазия 1926

Спасибо за исправления. Честно говоря, не совсем понимаю, какую стоит выбирать лицензию в таких случаях. Всегда "70 лет"? Ещё вопрос, собираюсь загрузить рисунки путешественницы 19 века, которые были опубликованы вместе с текстом её отчёта в качестве книжки лет 10 назад. Здесь тоже "70 лет" будет действовать? Round 2 of Picture of the Year 2018 is open!

Dear Alaexis,

You are receiving this message because we noticed that you voted in R1 of the 2018 Picture of the Year contest, but not yet in the second round. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2018) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Unrecognised entities

Well, we also have Category:Churches in Taiwan, and it's recognised only by 11 countries. Where do you put the threshold and on what basis?

This definition would be consistent. However it would require a lot of work to remove hundreds of categories "X in Taiwan/Kosovo/Somaliland" from "X/Y/Z by country" and put them under "X in China/Serbia/Somali." When you want to ask for speedy-delete of an empty category, best practice is to mark it with either:

{{SD|C2}} ("unuseful empty category") if it would be OK to re-create it in the future, given that appropriate content becomes available

{{SD|C1}} ("improperly named category") if it is an inappropriate category name that should not be reused (e.g. typos).

"C1" and "C2" come from Commons:Criteria for speedy deletion. You could also use of the following:

{{badname|current category name}}

{{speedy|empty, misspelled category name}}

The above templates (SD, speedy, Badname) expand to full speedy deletion requests.
In particular, this is better practice than just blanking the category page. Blanked categories end up on Special:UncategorizedCategories, which is largely handled by non-admins who cannot delete the categories in question.
