Please do not edit war

[edit]

Deutsch  English  français  italiano  magyar  português  sicilianu  русский  日本語  +/−

You currently appear to be participating in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, and once it is known that there is a disagreement should discuss the issues on the relevant talk page rather than repeatedly undoing other users’ contributions. If necessary you can ask for more input at Commons:Dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to ask for temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing – even if you are right about the content issue.

Bidgee, you currently appear to be participating in an edit war. You are expected to collaborate with others, rather than repeatedly undo helpful contributions with highly uncollaborative and unilateral reasoning of, "He won't listen." Being a Template Editor is a privilege, not a right. Revocation may occur at any time due to abuse, including engaging in edit wars. Please abide by the very same rules you are threatening others with retaliatory action over. Thank you for your cooperation, or I will have no choice but to report your abusive behavior. —Adaaaam (talk) 23:20, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The only person who isn’t being collaborative is yourself. —Bidgee (talk) 23:35, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
No, collaboration means undoing unhelpful edits and providing sound logic to foster discussion, as I have done. Undoing them with the reason "Because i say so" is not collaboration, it's unilateral decision making. Threatening them with retaliatory action takes your behavior even beyond uncooperative to the realm of petty and abusive. —Adaaaam (talk) 23:47, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please remain calm and collegial

It is important to keep a cool head, especially when responding to comments against you or your edits. Personal attacks and disruptive comments only escalate a situation; please keep calm and remember that action can be taken against other parties if necessary. Please try to remain civil with your comments. Thanks!

Bidgee (talk) 23:34, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There is nothing uncivil about exposing your uncollaborative behavior in engaging in what you yourself admit is an "edit war" while being the only party that provides unilateral reasoning ("listening" to you is not a prerequisite to useful contribution). I ask you to remain calm and refrain from further spamming my wall with your petty and false warnings, or I will have no choice but to report your abusive behavior. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. —Adaaaam (talk) 23:47, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Commons:Administrators' noticeboard/User problems#User:Adaaaam uncivil and disruptive. This is in relation to an issue with which you may have been involved.

Bidgee (talk) 01:21, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Bidgee, I have responded to your outlandishly false accusations by exposing the blatant motive behind your abusive behavior, to drive your unilateral opinion forward instead of foster collaboration by threatening me with multiple unwarranted warnings when I have tried to create Talk topics on the matter that you continuously censor. Hopefully you will learn to cease your abusive behavior as a result of any investigation that results from this. —Adaaaam (talk) 02:05, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Block

[edit]

After you have been asked not to edit war ([1]), you continued to do so ([2]) therefore I had to block you 3 days. When the block will expire, don't do that again otherwise you may risk to be blocked for a longer time. Regards, Christian Ferrer (talk) 04:59, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock request declined

This blocked user asked to be unblocked, but one or more administrators has reviewed and declined this request. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked. Other administrators can also review this block, but should not override the decision without discussion.

Request reason: "The request you linked occurred 22:52, 23 July 2021. My last edit you linked occurred 22:49, 23 July 2021, before said request. Therefore, it is impossible I "continued to [edit war]," making your block irrefutably unwarranted.

Combine this action with your peculiar and completely biased treatment of Bridgee by completely ignoring his participation in said "war," and a possible motive of retaliation for my successful reversal of your deletion of one of my files surfaces.

I will therefore be reporting your abuse of power, either now if the system allows me, or when your unwarranted block expires. Christian Ferrer, please remove yourself from this situation due to blatant conflict of interest. —Adaaaam (talk) 05:18, 24 July 2021 (UTC)

Decline reason: "You were asked multiple times to discuss your planned changes on the Talk Page but you ignored this. You may have a point about the changes you want to make but there needs to be a concensus. And accusing a respected administrator of bias and abuse of power is not helping your case. Calm down and sit out your block, hopefully returning to discuss and not war Gbawden (talk) 11:23, 26 July 2021 (UTC)"[reply]
Administrators: This template should be removed when the block has expired.

  •  Oppose unblockage. Yes the timestamp of the signature misled me, however your disruptive behavior continued there anyway. You are not reasonable or constructive, and therefore you make lose time to the other users. As I said above to persist in a such behavior may conduce you to be blocked for a longer time. Christian Ferrer (talk) 05:25, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No, I am not the one that's "not reasonable or constructive," he is. He repeatedly supplies no reason in your new link, while I continuously lose time crafting new ones to try and constructively instill reason.
Edit warring[3] is when an editor repeatedly restores their version while claiming, "My edits were right, so it wasn't edit warring."
Brisbee does precisely this by blanking his reasons as evident in your link.
Also, 3RR[4] dictates only a 4th reversion constitutes warring, which never occurs.
Any further justifications with your continuously false statements merely exposes a motive of retaliation more and more. As requested originally, please refrain from voting on your own abusive actions due to a blatant conflict of interest that becomes increasingly transparent with each new reply you make. —Adaaaam (talk) 05:38, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
File:Isometric logo Cult of Geek.png has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
