Commons:Wiki Loves Africa 2023 in Zimbabwe
Wiki Loves Africa is an annual contest where anyone across Africa can contribute media that relates to that year's theme to Wikimedia Commons) for use on Wikipedia and other project websites of the Wikimedia Foundation. Wiki Loves Africa encourages participants to contribute media (photographs, video and audio) that illustrate the specific theme for that year. Each year the theme changes. Each year's theme is chosen by the community to be a universal, visually-rich and culturally-specific topics (for example, markets, rites of passage, festivals, public art, cuisine, natural history, urbanity, daily life, notable persons, etc).
You are encouraged to submit any photos of Climate and Weather in Zimbabwe between 1st March and 30 April 2023. By submitting your photos to the competition, you share images of climate and weather themes in Zimbabwe with the world through Wikimedia Commons.

Preise auf nationaler Ebene sind
- 1. Nationalpreis - 150 US-Dollar
- 2. Nationalpreis - 70 US-Dollar
- 3. Nationalpreis - 30 US-Dollar
- To encourage participation from the districts best photos from the participating districts namely Harare, Bulawayo, Gweru, Mutare and Marondera will be awarded
- prizes of $50.00 each.
Jurymitglieder
At the end of the contest, the national jury will evaluate the photographs and select the best 10 pictures of the homes and habitats in Zimbabwe to submit to represent in the international finale. The international jury will then announce the international winners in August 2023.

Auswahlkriterien
Die Jury bestimmt die Gewinner des internationalen Wettbewerbs unter Berücksichtigung der folgenden Kriterien (in keiner bestimmten Reihenfolge):
- Technische Qualität (Schärfe, Lichteinsatz, Perspektive, usw.);
- Originalität;
- Nützlichkeit des Bildes für Wikipedia.
Bilder, die einen Spitzenplatz im internationalen Finale erreichen, erfüllen in der Regel mindestens die technischen Kriterien für "Ausgewählte Bilder" bei Wikimedia Commons. Du kannst jedoch beliebig viele Bilder einreichen und die Jury entscheiden lassen, ob sie gut genug sind.
