About: http://www.loc.gov/today/cyberlc/feature_wdesc.php?rec=4560 I would like to download the video from the Library of Congress website and re-use it here. It's in some strange Real Player encoding. I can only view it in theater mode, and can't download it at all. Clean up soundfile

Hello, can somebody maybe remove the background noise (wind) from the file? I think it shoud not be to difficult because the noise has a different pitch --Pyfisch (talk) 16:33, 25 August 2013 (UTC)

I tried to fix it. (See uploaded version). It can still be improved, though. The problem is that the bird's sound overlap with the noise every time. Therefore it is difficult to extract the noise. --McZusatz (talk) 19:43, 25 August 2013 (UTC)

Can someone please extract the section from the video here: http://www.whitehouse.gov/photos-and-video/video/2013/11/20/president-obama-honors-2013-medal-freedom-recipients where Ernie Banks gets the Medal of Freedom? I'd like to add that portion of the video to his article, but the whole ceremony is posted. Perhaps there is also value in extracting each "section" of the presentation for use in the respective articles, but I'm only interested in the Ernie Banks portion.

The video is 1700 MB, and I really don't have the necessary software to extract such a small portion from such a large video... --Oaktree b (talk) 05:25, 21 November 2013 (UTC)

Even though NSA-produced videos are public domain, the NSA-produced video at en:File:NSApolygraphvideo.webm also included short excerpts of copyrighted material from Meet the Parents and The Simpsons. Please make the following adjustments and upload the file to the Commons:
  • Cut out "Meet the parents"/"Simpsons" 00:20 to 00:27
  • Cut out Simpsons 00:35-00:38
  • Blacken visual of Meet the Parents but keep audio 00:48-00:51
  • Cut out Meet the Parents 00:52-00:53
  • Cut out The Simpsons 01:10-01:16
