- Support Very nicely done. Meets set criterion #2: the same subject photographed at different times. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 22:53, 29 July 2020 (UTC)

- Oppose Left one is over-exposed. Neither very sharp. And does not qualify as a set as they are different animals King of ♥. Look at the size difference in the left photo. Charlesjsharp (talk) 07:50, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- Comment In both pictures, the same pair of marmots. The right picture was taken in 4 minutes after the left. Please see Ezif file. It is true that one is larger than the other - this is visible on both the left and right photos.--KSK (talk) 11:16, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- Question As I must assume the photographer has told you these are the same animals, can you ask the photographer to explain the big difference in head sizes in the left photo, but not the right please. Charlesjsharp (talk) 17:23, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- Support I would vote for each if it were presented separately, so I am happy voting for the set. Perhaps they could do with a bit more sharpening but it's all a matter of taste. Cmao20 (talk) 15:10, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- Weak support: would've been so much better without the disturbing foreground... --The Cosmonaut (talk) 15:41, 30 July 2020 (UTC)

- Neutral on these as a set since Charles' concern about these not being the same two animals seems valid to me and has not been addressed fully. Daniel Case (talk) 21:53, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- +1, there are three of them in this shot from about the same time, so a switcheroo might have happened. --Cart (talk) 22:05, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- Indeed. KSK must have made an unwarranted statement without checking anything. Another example of the care that nominators should take when nominating third-party images. Charlesjsharp (talk) 08:42, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose per Charles --StellarHalo (talk) 00:23, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
- Comment Charlesjsharp is a very experienced animal photographer, and his opinion must be heard. At first, I was sure it was the same pair of animals. Charles' question is correct, and I sent it to the photographer. The author (Nadezhda Khaustova) does not have full confidence that in the second picture the same small marmot as in the first. Therefore, it will be correct to withdraw the nomination. However, the pictures are wonderful both and I intend to put one of them up for nomination at FP. Thank you all for supporting the nomination and discussing.--KSK (talk) 11:20, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
