- Support First time watching Nobel Prize medal presentation, I don't know if it's any different(better?) than the other videos available online, but I like it and believe it's featureable. -- Eatcha (talk) 13:00, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
- @Eatcha: Well it is certainly different in the sense that the Nobel Prize medal is normally presented by the King of Sweden in Sweden, but there don't appear to be many freely usable videos of that happening. The pandemic resulted in the medal being presented at Doudna's home, which was fortunate because UC Berkeley likes to release their videos under CC-BY, giving us one of the few freely usable videos of a medal presentation, albeit under unusual circumstances. - Description : Conditional motion SARS-CoV-2.
- MORE INFO: I've seen other animations of SARS-CoV-2, but they tend to depict it as a rotating solid spheroid with rigid protrusions. This is animated to the scale of individual atoms. You can see the little monstrosity's glycoproteins writhing and twisting. And it's based on data taken from a dozen papers in peer-reviewed journals (commented out for length) - in fact, it's created by the same people who made the featured image File:Coronavirus.
