Template:NoFoP-Denmark

IMO there is no need to create NoFoP template for those countries with certain FOP exemption. In Denmark, buildings are acceptable under her FOP rules. If you want to notify users that Danish FOP doesn't include non-architectural elements, the warning part of {{FoP-Denmark}} and {{NoUploads}} already served the purpose A1Cafel (talk) 08:13, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@A1Cafel: the use of {{NoUploads}} in categories of unfree public art and works must be addressed first, as for some it is only for categories of artists and galleries of artists only. Re-nomination: @JWilz12345: Since the creation of {{NoFoP-category}}, it already served the same purpose of notifying users not to upload photos with FOP concern, and this template was only applicable to category, which the NoFoP-category template also served it A1Cafel (talk) 04:41, 11 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

 Keep @A1Cafel NoFoP-category is meant for countries with no complete FOP. The template is based on {{NoFoP-Japan}} which already exists even before I became very active here on Commons. That template is for categories only. Both Denmark and Japan have partial FOP legal rights. NoFoP-Denmark can only be deleted if Danish FOP begins to extend to artistic works, or (worse-case) if Denmark abolishes architectural FOP.  Keep {{NoFoP-category}} is used for categories of buildings and artworks located in public space from countries that does not provide commercial freedom of panorama (for example, South Korea, France, Ukraine.). However, Denmark has freedom of panorama for buildings, so {{NoFoP-category}} is not suitable. Ox1997cow (talk) 04:52, 11 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
