All of these file are sourced to prisonexp.org/gallery and all of them were uploaded under a {{Cc-by-sa-4.0}} license. There's nothing on the source page that shows these have been released under such a license; moreover, it clearly states at the top of the webpage that "This page contains a gallery of images that can be viewed and downloaded without charge by journalists, educators, and others who wish to use the images for non-commercial purposes. " Commons doesn't accept "non-commercial licenses" as explained in COM:L which means that these cannot be kept unless the copyright holder of the images is willing to give their COM:CONSENT or it can be demonstrated that these images have indeed been released under a free license that Commons does accept. --Marchjuly (talk) 12:20, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
- Delete all incompatible licence, as the image licence on website is only for non-commercial purposes. Joseph2302 (talk) 21:28, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
- Comment Since these files were nominated, there's been further discussion about this at en:Talk:Stanford prison experiment#Commons files used on this page or its Wikidata item have been nominated for deletion which states that the copyright holder has sent in an email to COM:VRT. All of the files appear to have been tagged with {{OTRS received}} by Mussklprozz and if they can be resolved that way, then fine. The only possible issue I can see with that might be with File:SPE1971-newspaper-ad.jpg and whether it would be considered a COM:DW due to it being a photograph of a newspaper clipping. -- Marchjuly (talk) 21:52, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
- Generally, each individual newspaper ad is considered a separate work under the rules at the time, so it falls under {{PD-US-no notice}}. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 05:11, 20 August 2021 (UTC)

- The case is not clear by the ticket, and I asked the sender for further specification. --Mussklprozz (talk) 06:05, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
- Keep I have accepted the ticket. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 01:17, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you for the update King of Hearts. As I posted above, these files can be kept if copyright holder CONSENT can be verified. Since that is what has happened, I can't think of any reason why they would need to be deleted at this point. -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:29, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
Kept: per King of Hearts. --4nn1l2 (talk) 14:07, 25 September 2021 (UTC)
