- on external views, he has only made the top of the building, the walls was built in 1831. Prométhée33 (talk) 06:10, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
- Which external view do you have in mind ? — Racconish 📥 08:50, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
- The entire building can't be subject to copyright, on all exterior pictures (like [[:]]), Jean Nouvel has only made the canopy , the facades are constructed in 1831 (by Antoine-Marie Chenavard and Jean-Marie Pollet). I think we should clarify it with the model {{NoFoP-France}} on this pictures, as with File:Louvre Museum Wikimedia Commons.jpg. Others (internal views ) could be transferred on local wikipedias. Prométhée33 (talk) 15:24, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
- I beg to disagree. The whole visual aspect is the result of the restructuration by Nouvel, hailed as such by many sources. In any case, COM:PP should apply. I could agree with you on views of the walls only. — Racconish 📥 15:51, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
- It's not clear to me where the text at Template talk:NoFoP-France#Exception comes from (added by User:Micheletb in 2007), but the part "est telle qu'elle interdit en pratique de distinguer les deux éléments et spécialement de reproduire les bâtiments historiques sans montrer partie des aménagements modernes" (as it is impossible in practice to distinguish between the two elements and specially reproduce historic buildings without showing some modern amenities) seems to describe the situation with the Opéra de Lyon perfectly. This bulk deletion request seems to overreach. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 03:35, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
- With reference to the "Place des Terreaux jurisprudence [1], which boils down to de minimis, I point out that my request targets only isolated views of the opera, not all files in the category. What file(s) would you suggest to keep ? — Racconish 📥 08:21, 14 June 2015 (UTC)

-
Jean nouvel - opera-lyon.jpg (unused)
-
Studio du ballet, Opéra de Lyon (1).JPG (unused)
-
Studio du ballet, Opéra de Lyon (2).JPG (1 use)

- I agree for file:Jean nouvel - opera-lyon.jpg. Not for the others, where the restructuration is a major part of the image. — Racconish 📥 21:39, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks Yann. This clarifies the discussion. — Racconish 📥 17:44, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
